I would rather put it as 'crypto can help local communities whether it is through btc or other alts, the single act of getting involved in Cryptocurrency is a life changing opportunity for many, it is no longer secret that even some government officials are interested in btc and crypto, some have their paycheck in btc,
Once it is encouraged, more local communities will do business with crypto and experience the true meaning of financial freedom.

It is spread all over the world. Bitcoin is traded all over the world. It is a very, very good initiative. With Bitcoin, we can get a lot of opportunities. It is very easy to transact through it.  As the price of Bitcoin went up in 2017, so did the price in 2021. It reached around 70,000. Now it has 65,000.

Nah, you do not need a thread for it. Just share us the result after it succeeds and we would be happy to cherish your success of your friend's mining community in his village.  Here in my community, I doubt that they even know what cryptocurrencies are and I already have the doubts that they are going to look into it anyway.
Mining is popular in my country considering that everyone is buying GPU for ETH, but here exactly in my area? Nah, they'll pass.

Bitcoin is empowering local communities a little bit around the world. Native American communities have been stripped from their land and are struggling hard to escape poverty. This time is Bitcoin who is helping the Navajo people. West Block a Canadian mining company requested the Navajo nation to allow them for energy for a Bitcoin mine on Navajo land back in 2017. The company is currently employing 2 workers but has grown and is looking to have its operations increased to have 11 workers which will be hired among the community. The company is not only generating wealth for the community but is also providing them jobs and financial inclusion. This is the true nature of the potential bitcoin has to give back the power to people.

Everybody and every community can benefit from Bitcoin! It's good that BC serves all people; just buy it and hold it.

Actually, crypto is a chance for poor people to earn money. Even if you don't have capital to invest, you can invest your time and play NFT games or participate in different airdrops, bounties, ambassador programs. It all requires time but if you need money and don't have opportunity to work in other places, it will be the best choice for you. I have heard a lot of news about people from Africa who earned a lot thanks to Axie.

You have made mention of Airdrops, what are the benefits of carrying out Airdrops, how can one get capital out of it.
Have been shared links lately about it, should I give it a trial by performing all of the tasks ?

Of course Bitcoin can help small communities. Many people are satisfied after taking part in cryptocurrencies, whether investing or trading. Therefore, if Bitcoin trading or investment is channeled to small communities and they learn about it, it is not impossible that in the future they can progress. Entering the crypto world does not have to be large capital, the most important thing is that you have the intention and have enough knowledge about crypto. Actually crypto is easy to reach but there are still many people who doubt so they actually lose their golden opportunity.

What your friends are doing is a real form of innovation using bitcoin for the welfare of society. Mining with village power and uniting them to be equally involved in the mining process with shared profits.
I even recently heard of village groups starting to mine as you describe.

the power to unite the community and develop a bitcoin mining project in your friend's village is a tangible manifestation that the village community wants to move forward and can keep up with the times. all parties will benefit and get their respective benefits.

Maybe you can make a thread about bitcoin mining in the village that your friends do. because it's very interesting.

im not sure to make a thread, but he really use the opportunity to recruit as many as he can. thats hard to start, but he ask from his family with different house, than just spread to his neighbour. not only younger, but some older start and already know how to do it.
and it can be positive income for them, not only by work offline, also getting salary from online.

but the big question is that , did the company really helping the Navajo community or it is them who is benefiting maximum in this situation ?

employing that small amount of worker does not really reflect in what the point of this thread, at least helping the local by providing jobs and financial aid for the majority and not just for few.

But at least this brings Job and that is the most important thing.

The incident mentioned in the opening post is a way how bitcoin have benefited a community through some means. The same won't happen with other communities. They are in need of the proper location for the mining firm and when the business got widened people of that community is given the opportunity to work on it. Similar way of providing opportunities weren't possible everywhere. As of now the sources that pay bitcoin is very limited.

In my understanding there needs to be someone who is good at technology. In some parts of the world Tribes used to create decorative products that can't be made elsewhere. Those things can be added for trade and the profit can be given to the tribes life uplifting.

That number is kind of small but in a way, it provides some income for a few community members and in turn take the family off hunger and possible crime should they be paid good. Its a plus for them.

Though, when it comes to bitcoin and native or rural communities, its somehow a problem. Most individuals that resides there are often aged forks or persons that aren't so learned and are not privileged to own suffisticated devices (as I know it with a few African communities) looking at the way technology has advanced. So, the stip growth of the system poses a problem and unfortunately, we can't help it but only hope they benefit indirectly from means such as above and the employment opportunities funds generated from bitcoin investments can create.

El Salvador has struggled to empower its country by reviving the people's economy with bitcoin, it was a big decision from El Salvador to support bitcoin. Not only society, the state will also benefit from bitcoin. There are many other countries that are starting to struggle to financially prosper society, but they find it difficult to regulate bitcoin as a legal currency so trading and investing and mining is the solution to earn income.
correct some of the country struggling but the fact that someone stopping them to adapt bitcoin is the common reason its still very impossible for them as well to have freedom and chances to change their current status using of this very optimistic asset. So all i can say is government is very unfair wherein they all just relying where they can get benefits but when it comes to the community they all ignore it.. Very biased! They're are the true whales when it comes the in real life.

I think bitcoins can help local companies to expand their business as well. When we are taking about local communities what we can see is immense potential, regarding local crafts and many more things and people generally remain unrecognized since the middle man usually takes away the bulk of profit. This is actually what happens in many Asian countries, they have a lot to offer but unfortunately a lot of corruption and huge gap in MRP and the price that are paid to be local people. ( Plus they can go international as well)
Using cryptos like bitcoins could be a great idea, they can set up their things online, which would ofc need help from other tech savvy people but at the end of the day they can have a full blown business. During quarantine, local communities are what's supporting the whole Nation therefore I do think this is what they have been missing so far. An essential tool to bridge the gap.

Anthony Pompliano just posted a video on the Navajo mining Bitcoin. The Navajo are mining with clean energy produced from solar panels installed in their own land. Apart from stepping ahead towards their economical independence, the Navajo are also setting an example by going 100% solar with their mining operations.
Would really be that feasible? Considering the cost of solar panels and how much you've be needing specially on replacing  battery if you do  intently mine for 24 hours then

i would say that its just too nonsense on making some mining operation if you do know that ROI would be longer but if its for the sake of interest then its considerable.
Aside from mining  part there are various ways on which you could  really take advantage on this  market it is just  depending on someone on how they'll  do it.

If they are doing it, it is because it is feasible. Thing is, they have found the right companies and made the right partnerships to get this going. I guess the initial cost for getting a BTC mining operation going 100% solar it a lot higher than running on a grid, but on the long run it is a far better investment

we can't deny the fact that during this pandemic period, a lot of people here benefited  with their knowledge of crypto. either by bounty programs, or using their skills in programming, artworks ect they used their skills or knowledge how to earn crypto during these challenging times and augment their source of income.
Exactly, crypto really helps many people. We know how hard the condition and financial systems were during this pandemic. I am personally really blessed that I know the crypto industry before this pandemic so that I still can earn income during this hard time.
And this is only a small example of how crypto can help many communities in the world.
I am sure that many bigger communities are coming here and gaining many more profits and benefits from the crypto industry.
Moreover, crypto doesn't limit anyone to join. Whoever wants to learn and work and have involved in this activity, they are welcome.
This industry shows that it is a very good field in the time of the pandemic, the workforce has never shown any signs of reduction and only shows signs of increasing, supports quite a few people who are already unemployed but compared to the actual volume, this rate is not too high and to be honest, every community around the world has only a small group of people who like crypto. Although called there is no age limit and can start from zero but bitcoin is no longer in the early years of welcome, wanting help requires pre-existing capacity, not a blank sheet of paper and asking for support

Months ago, Bitcoin mining activities helped to save one water factory in the USA in the wave of Great hashpower migration from the East to the West after China crackdown.

When and where there are new companies, new activities appear, new jobs will be available. It is what occurring when Bitcoin mining is spreading to more nations, more remote local areas worldwide.

It really gives more opportunities to the local people especially when they build a huge bitcoin mining facility, they will need people to maintain it. More likely it will be best for the countries that do not have many jobs for their citizens. Bitcoin mining facility will surely be another job list for them. However, if they build another program that will benefit everyone from bitcoins, that would be great. especially those people who do not qualify for technical jobs that required experience.

The benefit must be global, but ultimately the regions are giving effervescence little by little with Bitcoin in many ways, some creative or informal, others under the scheme of formal entrepreneurs.

Yes. In fact mining generates a source of work, but in reality, I believe that the real benefit  this case is to give the knowledge and finance the Navajo people to make themselves experts. Let's be honest here there is money interest, Win-win does not exist in the equivalence of 50-50, never.

Why they do not leave the Navajo people with knowledge and the ability to pay for loan at least in first instance.

I believe during the pandemic situation bitcoin was becomes a really great help for many people as a new way of source incomes, since they couldn't work like usually they did before the pandemic, which at the time has forced them to look for other ways of earning from their own home.

~ Moreover, crypto doesn't limit anyone to join. Whoever wants to learn and work and have involved in this activity, they are welcome.
Keep in mind that scammers also could enter the fields too, so we need to be more vigilant and educate ourselves in order to protect our crypto assets.

I think in general, people who have started crypto around their local communities are actually growing, not only for those who have started but for those who have been influenced as well, and I can assume that not only Bitcoin but crypto generally has helped a lot of people overcome or get out of poverty, I have a friend who was able to even buy a car just by trading and hodling, investing on worthy projects, and after that, he influenced a lot of his friends to invest on Bitcoin as well, Bitcoin does help local communities.

Bitcoin have really helped lot's of people most expecially in developing countries, I personally bitcoin have really helped me, am a graduate which currently I own a business which I started immediately I graduated from my higher institution with the fund I got from bitcoin which also bitcon really helped me during my higher institution to pay my tuition fee and other thing's like that which I learnt everything about bitcoin and cryptocurrency on Bitcointalk so I really appreciate the forum and I appreciate bitcoin.

Many people are helped by the existence of Bitcoin, I'm glad you can pay for college from Bitcoin. Actually on this forum I've read a lot of stories of
people whose economy improved after getting to know Bitcoin. That also happened to me, at first I didn't believe in Bitcoin either, I thought Bitcoin
was a scam. But after I study properly, it turns out that Bitcoin can give us the opportunity to make money and it's true that I can profit from investing
in Bitcoin. Although I also initially suffered losses, because I made some mistakes when investing in Bitcoin. But slowly I began to correct
my mistakes, and finally I was able to buy a lot of stuff from the money I got from investing in Bitcoin. I am very grateful to Satoshi Nakamoto
for creating Bitcoin, he created something that can help many people in the world.

I know many people who have chosen trading as a profession as a source of income. With the blessings of Bitcoin, they are now able to live with dignity, as well as contribute to the economic development of society and the country.

I've known Bitcoin since 2015 and I'm on a journey to this day. Bitcoin became very famous when 2017 achieved a fantastic price increase. Since then I have started to see on various social media people trading. They even show off with their trading results. They also show items that are considered to have a high price to show off. Seeing that, of course I agree with you, that bitcoin can change the economic level of people. They use it as a job called trading. As long as Bitcoin has a price it will continue to be useful for changing the level of the economy that uses it.

4) It reduced unemployment: Bitcoin reduce unemployment in any country that adopted bitcoin in the communities. It creates more opportunities to graduate in the communities to improve to another level .

It has grown exponentially in 3rd class countries and developing countries. In countries that are underdevelopment stage, the unemployment rate is above 50 percent.

Despite being educated, they are deprived of suitable jobs. Bitcoin is a blessing for these educated unemployed. Bitcoin has opened up investment opportunities, trading opportunities, stacking opportunities, mining opportunities for them. I know many people who have chosen trading as a profession as a source of income. I like the very last words here. It’s helping the remote locations!! Yes that’s what we want and as far as remote location is considered the peeps their need this kinda evolution. In my country if you imagine a remote location then you see farms, animals, peeps with less or no contact with the urban areas. Day by day weather is changing and thus affecting the farming also.

It’s time for the digital era! Peeps need to move to newer world where crypto mining farms in rural area can bring amazing workforce and jobs. With this they can understand how the world is moving towards greater life. They could get any kinda job from sweeper to coder or electrical works etc. But it would be a kinda best thing for them.

So indeed this change is amazing and it should be everywhere.

I've always thought the best thing about knowing Bitcoin is that you can control your funds yourself and I still stand on that, thus when people have control of their funds all to themselves, then they can in turn use that advantage to create wealth, and that's the way Bitcoin has been helping individuals for a while now.
Creating new sources of wealth with bitcoin also requires new innovations that need to be made. Every individual who owns bitcoin assets now starts to make some investments or trades to double their assets.

Local Communities start growing with the help of bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Like El Salvador or in Africa that have adopted bitcoin and made it a legal payment to overcome their economic problems.

my friend start to use villages power to run the mining. he have a power to unite between one person with the other, and he can manage them all, how much they spend and get, and stand till now.

Bitcoin can play a good role against poverty and unemployment. It is not only to increase their financial condition but it also provides them an opportunity to be rich. Bitcoin is a collection of chances and opportunities for all people and all communities. We can start our business on this trade with a little amount while on traditional business there involves risk and big capital.

It's undeniable that owning bitcoin or any cryptocurrency can be already considered as an asset or wealth and for me this is a big help to the local community and it is already proven. For me, owning crypto especially bitcoin is a privilege that every owner could enjoy like gaining a profitable profit, a worth it investment and of course the opportunity to get rich and enjoy a financial stability at the young age as possible but of course provided that you could handle how volatile the market is.

I am more impressed for those who make good use of bitcoin as a source of income and change their life for the better despite being banned but they still use it in their own way, than those who do nothing.
do it independently and also self-awareness we will enjoy the pure benefits of the results of our creativity and expertise which in my opinion is very cool and can add knowledge and also a very extraordinary experience, because then we can understand and also understand the function of bitcoin or crypto well .
For those people who do have a good grasp on learning up crypto then it cant really be avoided that aside from learning the true essence or benefits of it in terms of payment system which they do also have that kind of benefit on where they could really make out money or make  profits if they do really know on what they  are doing.
Although this isnt something  that do comes automatically, you do need  to work still to make it more effective and beneficial. This isnt just an internet money that
do comes with just simply waiting. You do need to work and put up some effort too.

Here are some ways bitcoin can help local communities:
1) Socialize : Those countries that legalized bitcoin in their country make their citizens to be more popular in the community.
2) Transaction failure: Bitcoin came to eliminate errors from the communities transaction and also to make the transaction fast and safe to the users.
3) It will reduce inflation: Those countries that legalized bitcoin in their country are experiencing deflation in their various communities. The price of communities in the community is still decreasing in the market.
4) It reduced unemployment: Bitcoin reduce unemployment in any country that adopted bitcoin in the communities. It creates more opportunities to graduate in the communities to improve to another level .

Not just the small community but we see that El Salvador which adopted bitcoins as legal tender also is helping and hoping that bitcoins would help them boost their prickliest economy where 1/5th of their GDP   came from people sending money from abroad , this transaction had high transaction fees since there are few banks and the money would be considered in international exchange ,
The country was paying a huge amount in transaction cost and less than 35% of the whole population had bank accounts,
It is said that every citizen were offered $30 which they could use for paying at shops or government taxes .

We see here one of the main reason for adopting could  be elimination of transaction fees in international transfer of money .

We see them good at the bullish state of the market we don't see yet how they go when the we are in bear since we don't know if majority of them can take how the market goes since its really not good to the side of people who doesn't know the action to do if they are unexperience towards certains flaws of the market. But if we can see them survive eventhough bad market hits then we can say that this adoption will really help to boost their economy.

I think the article is pushing it too far with little actual data being available. No wonder that most of it is actually not about Bitcoin, but about all sorts of issues that the Navajo Nation faces. I don't deny those issues and that they should be tackled, but then there's this small section that there's a Bitcoin mining facility that employs 2 people, but it "is a very real source" of future wealth. It's also said that those bitcoins which are mined will circulate in the local economy, but will they, though? If it's a Canadian firm doing the mining, why would they give away their profit to the Navajo Nation?

I am more impressed for those who make good use of bitcoin as a source of income and change their life for the better despite being banned but they still use it in their own way, than those who do nothing.
do it independently and also self-awareness we will enjoy the pure benefits of the results of our creativity and expertise which in my opinion is very cool and can add knowledge and also a very extraordinary experience, because then we can understand and also understand the function of bitcoin or crypto well .
Indeed. Presently in our local community, Bitcoin investment has been a great help to all the youths in which it has helped reduced the rate of unemployment and poverty to some level through various Bitcoin investments most especially during the covid 19 period. Bitcoin will totally boost our local economy right now, where individuals are into bitcoin to support their financial needs. Bitcoin have benefitted a lot in our local community as it helps everyone who uses it to even gain for their financial needs and reduce unemployment.

They can still work even during this pandemic, they can rise up their income from Bitcoin and many others.
Even Bitcoin may be not available as the payment method in a country, at least, this is legal to be used in order to earn money.
Maybe there are still not many local communities that know or understand about this, but it may be spreading to the real world again and again
in totality , Bitcoin and the crypto market is helpful because it is not only bitcoin that represent this amrket but the whole.

Since the introduction of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin the king of all crypto has been soaring high like an eagle in the sky.

Presently in my local community, Bitcoin investment has been of great help to the youths in which it has helped to reduced the rate of unemployment and poverty to some level through various Bitcoin investments most especially during the covid 19 period. Youths now rather invest in Bitcoin than search for Job that pays peanuts because they believe that the more they hold Bitcoin the more the gain.

This is the true nature of the potential bitcoin has to give back the power to people.

Is this what it means when Bitcoin claims that it gives back the power to the people? Or this is really how Bitcoin empowers the people? I don't think so. Your example is nothing about Bitcoin really. This is the way capitalism works. This is happening even outside Bitcoin so this is not really the empowerment that Bitcoin distinctly provides to the people. The kind of freedom and empowerment that Bitcoin provides is in financial or monetary terms, particularly that people don't have to depend on intermediary banks, governments, and central banks anymore. Bitcoin makes everybody their own banks. Their transactions are done directly to the person they're dealing with, without the intervention of third parties.

we can't deny the fact that during this pandemic period, a lot of people here benefited  with their knowledge of crypto. either by bounty programs, or using their skills in programming, artworks ect they used their skills or knowledge how to earn crypto during these challenging times and augment their source of income.
what the OP gave an example may not be important to others but for these Navajo people it is their saviour during tough times. and if they continue to expand, it means more people will get their employment. and this is true to other stories like in 3rd world countries, where their people start to learn how to deal with crypto and how to earn them.

With the price of Bitcoin getting more and more expensive, this is an opportunity for people who do have knowledge of the crypto world to make
a profit. Even if we compare Bitcoin with other assets, Bitcoin has a better performance. In a pandemic situation where there is a global crisis,
Bitcoin provides a solution as a source of income. Therefore, I have felt the benefits of Bitcoin, trying to help other people in my neighborhood
by educating them about Bitcoin. Because the majority of people in the world do not know Bitcoin properly.

I'm responding base on the caution or topic sentence of this thread..." How Bitcoin can help local communities" from my own point of view, i understand that bitcoin does not help a community or can not help a community except a situation a community have particular funds of investment and also have a place were they assemble their funds for investment and possibly agreed to invest in cryptocurrency especially bitcoin.. bitcoin can only help individual base it's method of investing in bitcoin, because since i started observing people investment i never seen joint cryptocurrency investment.

In my opinion, the best way Bitcoin can and has helped local communities is by giving them a different sort of currency that puts control in their hands as they are their own bank, I do not quite see the presence of the mining company in Navajo as a big plus, the only thing I consider as being an advantage is prolly for the people who prior to this event didn't know about Bitcoin cause this is a sort of exposure to them as they can take time to understand what the network is all about and how it operates.

I've always thought the best thing about knowing Bitcoin is that you can control your funds yourself and I still stand on that, thus when people have control of their funds all to themselves, then they can in turn use that advantage to create wealth, and that's the way Bitcoin has been helping individuals for a while now.

Navajo are being benefited by bitcoin indirectly, because they just profit from the rent the company pays in order to operate the mining farm inside their territory. The impact would be much more positive if the native americans were being taught to adopt bitcoin individually and directly, having access to exchanges, virtual jobs, investments and any other kind of crypto related site. This way each Navajo could chart their own path in crypto universe, without having to wait for the good will or success of third party companies to get some pennies from that.

While it is cool that the Navajo have a mining farm on their grounds now, it is hard to know how it'll help those people get to a better future. It is like any other venture that will provide jobs (to only 11 people).

The part about financial inclusion also doesn't seem very convincing if those people don't already haven't been able to get out of poverty despite the existing support. Crypto is all the more self-driven. You have to be above a certain level for it to be able to help you. I am not sure that small, local Indian communities have that kind of access. You know things have blown out when Zuck comes in to claim metaverse.

Every business will definitely involve new jobs. So it's good to have an impact on other communities as well. and also on the other hand bitcoin also helps a lot to expand one's business. and simplify online payments. when it comes to specifically helping poor people I haven't really seen anything happen in my country because of bitcoin. mostly middle and higher class people get benefit from it .

I think Bitcoin (Lightning Network) can make a huge impact on local (rural) communities, if the Internet infrastructure is there to support it. We have seen how M-PESA has been used successfully on mobile phones in Kenya in Africa in rural communities.

The same can be implemented from Apps and wallets on mobile phones with FREE Wifi hotspots in smaller villages, where small retailers do their business. This will give them the benefit of much lower fees and also instant transactions without intermediaries.  Grin

I would not call your methods reliable to raise your financial condition.
In the absence of work, sitting on the net for participation in bounty programs or games is, in my opinion, a waste of time, nothing more. But of course, different countries have different needs, and I also see a lot of people here participating in bounty programs who hope to earn something. But as practice shows, almost all works are often in vain.
A better way out would be a deep immersion in the study of bitcoin, and the further acquisition of a profession that will always be relevant on the Internet.

Just like what you said, the mining company requested the Navajo people to used their land for bitcoin mining. 2 workers to 11 workers? I don't think it will put a big dent on their local economy, unless they are like 20 people in their neighborhood. Yes, I know that bitcoin has open a lot of doors, but this is just an exaggeration to me.

When I was reading the news I was thinking the same thing. They paint it as a great benefit for the Indian community but who really profits is the Canadian firm. It may be a little helpful but it's an exaggeration, starting with the title of the article that looks like they are all Navajo mining with PCs from their homes.

This is the true nature of the potential bitcoin has to give back the power to people.
They used the land to build a workplace and employed the people living there to get a job as a sort of "compensation" for taking their land. While I appreciate the fact that the people were given jobs, it did not change the balance of power towards the people. It also depends on whom you include in the word "people" - the owners of the mining company can also be included in it because they are also using bitcoin.

So my opinion is that using this topic to conclude that the natives got "power" is a wrong conclusion - rather it gave them a job opportunity to work somewhere and earn a living - that is more appropriate.

Owning a land and working on previously sold land as a day worker - these are different things. One would always want the first one and that is what the Natives have been deprived off for long. I am not saying that the mining company is bad, they need to grow and expand too.

I mean maybe not in a direct way, i don't think that actual bitcoin or mining facilities will such a significant impact on the regain or the local community itself, it may create like a dozen job positions, but not at the point where it solves unemployment or bring huge income to them, however in places where renewable energy could created and used to power the mining facilities could make for a significant change to the region, for example for communities who live in the desert region of Africa could benefit from projects that use solar energy to generate electricity, where it could open jobs for creating, maintaining transporting power and even manufacturing solar panels, which could also lead to crypto mining facilities set in those regions the same way we see geothermal being used to mine bitcoin.

Many countries are actually benefiting from crypto, perhaps in fairness it is helping the poor and economically unstable countries. Some countries are subject to the US embargo which makes it difficult for their economies to develop and bitcoin is a useful tool and solution to help them sustain their lives. Earlier this year, when I saw El Salvador accept crypto, I see that they are really taking advantage of the good opportunity for the country to be able to capitalize on the wave of bitcoin.

This kind of employment opportunities out of bitcoin can't be provided to large number of people. Bitcoin is innovated to provide financial freedom to people. Due to its potential and multiple usage it got termed to be a source that gave life to lots and lots of people through investment, trading and earning.

When we talk about bitcoin helping a community as a whole, it is possible through charity/donation. During the pandemic even in our forum campaigns were conducted and the funds were used to support a suffering community have their daily food.
Cant really denied on how these forum-based jobs not only limited to signature campaigns but also on micro jobs or task that you could see on this forum is really a big or great help  on at least sustaining yourself on buying some food.It might not be much for most people but for those who do live out  on 3rd world  country would really see this as a big or great help at least on this very hard situation.

A lot of things that we can benefit from Bitcoin, not just for investment(profit), use as utility (payment option), but it also gives us job just like you have said. But honestly, not all in the local communities are benefiting from this. Although we can say that it gives a job to some of them, however, only just a few people and those who were not selected have received nothing.

Well, at least, it gives something to the community. And I hope this could be seen by the government and think how this could improve the living of the people and also their economy.

If there's something that really help Native Americans, it's gaming:

Quote
Native American gaming comprises casinos, bingo halls, and other gambling operations on Indian reservations or other tribal lands in the United States. Because these areas have tribal sovereignty, states have limited ability to forbid gambling there, as codified by the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act of 1988. As of 2011, there were 460 gambling operations run by 240 tribes,[1] with a total annual revenue of $27 billion.
