Bitcoin works in so many way mate, bitcoin is a digital currency just like USD, people acquire it in many ways, some store bitcoin in crypto wallets, some trade and with it with alternative coins in many cryptocurrency exchanges, thereby making them improving their portfolio. Would have advised you newbies to learn how to buy bitcoin from your fiat currency of your country.
But your question seems confusing, mere buying bitcoin and store gives you profits and doing some bounty and airdrop earns you bitcoin also. Held on to bounties >altcoin and find ways to earn while working in the cryptospace. Thanks

Bitcoin is money like USD. It is permissionless so anyone can use it. People use it with same reason as they use money. They earn it as a salary. They buy stuff they need and hire people to work for them.
You can mine bitcoun as well by using crypto mining machines.
I assumed that might this OP ask on how he can earn Bitcoin or how to work just to earn Bitcoin. This thing that's come up in my mind, Bitcoin mining is also good but I think it is profitable as of now. If you know the basic technical stuff of Bitcoin, you're good at this mining.
Or probably let's assumed that this OP ask how Bitcoin and Blockchain technology works. Well, it's a long discussion and I think this forum is the right place to study and research that matter. You don't need to work with bitcoin because bitcoin is jotted a work i is a cryptocurrency, it is like a USD but not literally, it is like money online, where you can use for some trading and investing which is a really profitable way of earning money. There are some jobs where they pay bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies. If you want to be more knowledgeable about what cryptocurrency is, you may explore in this forum, you will gain so much knowledge here, just be patien because learning takes so much time. If you will be more interested in it you may learn it rapidly.

Well said, cryptocurrency is really good for online transactions which include some payment, there are some online transactions that accept bitcoin for payment. 
I am pretty sure that Afzal0 is not asking how Bitcoin and Blockchain technology works. He wants to know about ways in which he can earn Bitcoin. His goal are probably signature campaigns. But we can't be sure unless he expands on his original OP and offers more information.

Motivational discussion? In what context? Earning from a Signature Campaign (common query of newbies)? If yes, then the links provided by other members can help you achieve the term "success" you are referring to.Why? Because in order for you to have a meaningful discussion regardless if you're getting paid or not, you need to have a basic/advance (if you wish) knowledge in this community. In fact, you are in a bitcoin forum and it is obvious that you need to be equipped with bitcoin stuff.
Bitcoin is not a company but an open source project, which means everyone can voluntarily contribute in it by any means. Every part of bitcoin is open for innovation, contribution, development, etc. You don't have to ask for permission to start using bitcoin. The way you contribute, use, earn bitcoin is mostly based on the skills you currently have. In case you don't have any yet, you have to start your journey in cryptocurrency space from learning through whole stuff. There are a lot of materials of all kind such as books, articles, podcasts, guides, videos that will be helpful to understand what technology it is, how it works, why it matters.

To achieve results and success in anything, you need knowledge, experience, certain skills etc.
Bitcoin is not different so please educate yourself and learn.

Do you want to trade, or participate in projects that are paid with bitcoin or something else?

I think you need to spend more time understanding what is bitcoin, you can use this forum to educate yourself among with different platform, I suggest if you are bored in just reading, just search educational videos in youtube, you'll surely learn if you are interested enough, just give it some time.

What do you define as success? It is difficult to formulate an answer when your only question is the very vague "how can I achieve success at work" which is an incredibly subjective question.You seem to post a lot of one-liners.
