The problem with games (this happened to me a while ago) is that when you spend money on in-game items you only get to use them within the game, meaning when the game shuts down so do your items.
Now with blockchain technology, your items will be 721 non-fungle tokens. Which means they are unique so your ingame item is linked to this token and whoever owns the token owns the item. You can then sell your ingame items and move on to the next game. The only problem is who will buy items if a game is going to shut down.

Not really sure how blockhain can favor gaming industries. Would it be possible for blockhain to act as anti-cheating mechanism, Like every move and kills can be recorded on blockhain to prevent out of scope moves?

There must be a way but the question is that, are the companies Sony and Microsoft willing to adopt and develop something that runs through blockchain?That's the purpose of those projects that we are investing because there's something new and useful to us. I've seen a livestreaming path already with blockchain which can be used by gamers so I think that's part of it.
I do not know how exactly blockchain can influence gaming platforms like XBOX or PS4, but it can surely add some security for gamers. There were a lot of issues, when users data was stolen and sold on the black market, which can be avoided by blockchain usage.

Blockchain will favor this companies in so many ways, firstly, since the platform will be built on blockchain supposing they'll have their own tokens or use already existing cryptocurrency to carryout transaction on their gambling site meaning, the platform charges will be far less than usual and very fast compared to the traditional currency (fiat) which will definitely attract more gamblers to their platform. Cross border payment would no longer be an issue which will also attract new gamblers from across the globe.
The favor would also come in the form of trust since the blockchain technology is associated with transparency and decentralization. More gamblers would trust the companies system to be fair and not altered like most gambling platform to favor the gambling company.

My own idea about gaming using crypto is what many failed to reasoned with, i am a addicted video gamer i have been gaming since the age of 8 on nes and sega mega drive, gaming can actually help crypto achieve more adoption rate, imagine playing call of duty and earning and spending real coins in the game, it will make lotta sense, it will make gaming more fun

I think it needs time to adopt! Blockchain is a very promising tool to use for the gaming sector and if those Giants like Sony and Microsoft will adopt it, will thats good since it can drive the popularity of blockchain as a new versatile system to use in different fields, not just cryptocurrency but to all sector and that means great for Blockchain base industry. 
I don’t know a specific way to implement blockchain in the gaming industry, because I am not a game developer. However, I think the alliance of the blockchain and the gaming industry is a great idea. I see games that use blockchain, but I don’t understand why they use it.
