Hello, I'm having a project and it will launch in the next 2 months. Thus, could you please tell me the way to build communities in global.
I've tried many ways such as bounty, airdrop, conference,....
Running ads on facebook and google is blocked. I don't know how to boom my project.
Do you know some KOLs, please let me know, I'm very appreciate
Our project has various promotions for partners and Kols, or we can discuss about commercial term

Building community would always depend on your project. If your project offers a really good deal to solve something or to make an impact in one's life, I'm sure it will be appreciated by the people you want to attract and to help. For me, Storytelling is one way. You have to spread your cause. Rally people to believe in your project and to help you deliver your mission. It's imp that you know who they are and where can you find them. Sure, you can always offer airdrops, bounty, and other stuff but the thing about building community is about the retention of these people.  So, I suggest that you let your community grow, organically with the people who really support your project not just spending on it. Acquiring members is kinda manageable but I think what you also need to focus on is how to retain them.

About building communities is it for ICO? the best way for you to build communities first step is you need to create a telegram group facebook and etc. and then you need to hire auto add person , they will add members into your group and also that might hype up your group. after that try to promote airdrop and bounty pay for advertisements on legit site or you can do cross promotion that is really effective. If you want i can help you with your project. I can share you my knowledge if you want too. I've been into different ICO as a PR,Moderator and Support

Basically, first you will need to disclose your project, and display a sufficiently impressive website so that people can be attracted to your project. That's the core of any community: a magnetic attractor of an idea. If it's workable, your community will build up organically over time through the network effect of the growing interactions.

But, all of this takes time. You seem to be in a hurry, seeing that you are rushing into forming a community without having a core powerful idea that you can express through an elevator pitch here on this thread. Many people take the short cut of buying their community so that everything seems impressive right from the very start, but these things get exposed and eventually fall through in the long run.

So, take your time, and progress methodically, one step at a time, starting with your attractive pitch. That way, you are sure to succeed!

Building a community is not an easy task. You will need to have a real community. First, start messaging your close friends and family. Then tell your friends to help you. Note that your team also needs to be helpful. They can even contact their friends and relatives. Afterwards, the community will start to grow. Make a facebook page, and bit by bit, you will have many followers. As I said, it will not be easy. But at least, it will be worth the try.

I think that the project itself is 50% of success. If it's something great and revolutionary it's enough to explain it to people and they will come and throw money your way. There's plenty of gofundme projects that weren't advertised but became huge because people liked them and thought -why didn't I think of it?
The second 50% is mostly transparency. Be honest and build trust. People will like you.

Before doing any action i have a small tip for you:
Don't buy your community

I completely agree on this, thus, airdrops and everything are nice, but don't forget that your main goal is to get an audience interested in your project, so, my recommendation would be to make sure you got everything well explained and transparent, meet people that might add a greater value to it, then the community will grow by itself.

It's important to balance things out. For instance giving people money for registering on site or downloading the wallet is a waste of time. It will only attract farmers who will make multiple accounts to cheat you out of your coins. Paying people for doing something for you is another thing. For instance paying for translations is one of the most common jobs offered by project leaders and unlike paying for facebook likes or retweets is viewed as positive encouragement.
Running a project is a difficult job. You don't want to throw money away and get a lot of exposure. Hiring experienced managers to run everything for you might be a good idea.

Maybe I didn't explain myself well, but jonathan was pretty accurate about it, I completely agree with him, free offers are more like an extra, but they can't be the main way to bring people in, unless you want to have your community chats filled with questions just as "when distribution?" "when airdrop" but none regarding the project itself, like he said, the balance! .. and also, like every other project/company, you must have specific people for specific tasks, don't try to do everything on yourself, split the tasks and get more time to work  other things out.  Smiley

Most of the project right now are using either discord or telegram for building up a community and might he should do some giveaways(not airdrop), weekly nor monthly quiz, raffle or task so that it could appealing to the new comers to come and to make the old members to stay. And you should follow some suggestion here since some of them are brilliant like hiring a influencer or maybe grab a famous endorser to label out and maximize your product growth and community.

It's not so easy to build up a good active community.
Thanks for all those tips in this thread, very interested for those who are planning to start a new project.

Running ads on facebook and google is blocked. I don't know how to boom my project.

Telegram is not blocked yet. Try growing your own telegram channel or a group.
Fill it with the unique content, invite all the members of your team and your contact list to get the first 100 followers.
Place the link to your channel on different forums, Quora, Reddit, etc.

After your cross 500 users mark, try paid advertising on other channels.

Key Opinion Leader, also known as an "influencer", is a person or organization who has expert product knowledge and influence in a respective field. They are trusted by relevant interest groups and have significant effects on consumer behaviour. Source :
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Key_opinion_leader

So, for the people who do not understand his objective, please read the definition of a KOL.  Roll Eyes So, getting people like this to back your project, you will have to find a way to pitch your project to them.

There are many Bitcoin events, where key "influencers" attend, so you might want to attend these events to get a foot into the door, so that you can pitch your idea.  Wink

Just avoid people like John McAfee, he will do anything for the right amount of money.  Grin

Before doing any action i have a small tip for you:
Don't buy your community

How many times have you gotten into a Telegram channel of an ICO you found and suddenly saw an insane amount of members? In 99% of the cases, the company buys thousands of Telegram members to fake the number.
When I get into a Telegram group with 40k members and none of them is talking in the group, I always feel a bit sad for their CMO. When we speak about the communities, quality is much more important than quantity. It’s better to have a group of 1000 real followers, people who believe in your project, your team, and goals than 40k fake members and bounty hunters that won’t give any value.

If the team is aimed at a good result,it should follow a few simple principles:
1) Real profiles of team members on the site,with links to profiles in social networks. Moreover, these people should be active and regularly update the information in the profile (photos,videos);
2) Regular maintenance and updating of information about the company on social networks(Reddit,Facebook,Twitter);
3) Provide a product that is really unique, which other ICOS did not have. Naturally, all this requires a lot of money, but if you want to promote your project and earn money, you can not do without it. Now investors have become more literate and outright fraud does not come across.
Facebook and Twitter ads are blocked only for direct links to projects, you need to deploy a campaign with the help of users of these social networks.

Building a community is not difficult but the OP is looking for KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) or influencer and it will be hard for the OP to find one if he can be open up. I will advice him to try out linkedin maybe he will lucky since LinkedIn seems to be one of the best place to hookup with crypto related advisor, developer etc.

Hi. Good day .
If you planning to make a project I would recommend
First you have to decide what kind of project do you want to build
And factors that can effect it to the people
Second, "WHO" who will Gonna build it and who will gonna see or like your project
I highly recommend you to choose some persons and make them as a team to focus for the development of your project.
Third, "SURVEY" survey the effect of your project to the people who see it.
Last know and solve the possible problem that will face your project .

Thank you for reading my suggestions.

Do you at least have a website already? I mean, if you don't have that, how can you even expect to find people who are interested in helping out with your project.
How many team members do you have now? Where do you communicate with each other?

Do you have any sort of social media presence? If so, share the links.

Get together on Discord with your team members and make sure that other people know that's where you hang out.
Slack would also be an option, but I find that Discord is a bit more accessible for most people.

communities are interest driven groups, without an interest you wont be able to keep a community bound together under your project

It all starts with good marketing & a good product!

You must have a good idea/project before you can build a solid community.
Building a community takes time, a community cant be build in 1 month. It can take a year or longer to have a good one.

A good community can boom your project.

Also, if you know any tech-related bloggers that could be a boost if you can make some kind of deal with them.

Make some real business and publish it from your website. You can build your community with your early adopters and customers.

I mean how to build communities before having nothing. Sad It's all real project. Not scam. but people told me that it's just on paper, when having exchange, they would PR for me. I need KOLs and communities come with us when nothing is in my hand

Anyway you should create some kind of page/channel/group etc. in social networks and messangers: facebook, twitter, telegram, steemit, discord, whatsapp bla bla bla...
Then you can start contacting people that could be interested in your future project and ask them to join your resources.
It is the only way, IMHO.
Yeah, I'm doing that, I have 2 groups about trading analysis and info about crypto world. But not powerful like other groups.

What is your project?
Which niche?
Does this have any value to the market?
Who are your competitions?
etc, etc... There are a lot of factors are involved for a project to get a kick start and get accepted by people. You need to find out what you are lacking.

I know, we are not finished yet. We now don't have exchange yet. After ICO, we may have fund to invest in exchange ver1. I've met a lot of KOLs, they said that they would accept the invitation when the exchange published. If this publish, we don't need to invite the KOLs, maybe that time they will beg us for advertising and get % ref.
What we need now is the Kols and partners who come with us from the beginning
You are missing it - why would someone will join you if you do not show them the interest they will get?
No, they are all interested, but they said everything was on the paper and they cannot do
