Once again, Britcoin comes through. I've posted my experiences on the dedicated Britcoin thread here (page 5 ish): http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=4984.0

All in all, an excellent service.

I would like to also vouch for BritCoin.

I have successfully withdrawn money from the exchange and also successfully deposited money to the exchange.

I understand that people may be weary for it operating on bank transfers, but the creator seems trustworthy enough.

Very good exchange for those who live in Britain and wish to buy/sell BitCoins.

Has anyone had any positive trades from britcoin?

Britcoin is great. My bank payment went through as soon as it was a working day, and the trade went through just fine.

It's a great exchange, and right now is the easiest way for brits to buy coins imo

Britcoin seems a bit sketchy

I don't like that it doesn't display the current Exchange Rate and the only payment method is Bank Transfer.

Has anyone had any positive trades from britcoin?

Thanks

The site seems off due it being new, but i will vouch. First day I put 1btc on there and made almost double the going rate at mtgox. Now its my fav exchange, the prices are right, ive made a killing on the profit in 2-3 days!

Did you try #bitcoin-otc? If you don't have PayPal though, I don't think you'll be able to complete a trade except by bank transfer/cheque-in-mail.

I'm looking to buy £50 worth of BTC

All the sites i've seen use awkward payment methods from the UK or offer hideously high exchange rates.

What are my best options?

ps. I cannot use paypal but can pay debit/credit card or any other online payment processor
