Most people are in this space because of the speculative profit one can get investing in this project, do you think most people care about what the platform does, IMO no, people only care about the profit and this is where the fun of the whole game is, if we all know the direction of the market it takes all the fun away from the space.
That's right: Many people don't even read the white papers. It's enough when the idea sounds new and one, two or three big names/companies/investors are involved. But shouldn't even some of them start thinking quer? Think again? Instead of raping blockchain the heads in such a way that they think only of BTC, Profit or SCAM?
