I want to know, what is the real purpose of doing P2P trading bitcoin??

Currently there are many DEXs that can be used to trade Bitcoin safely and without being tracked, the one I have used is Bisq

However, if you really want to trade P2P, I recommend using an escrow service, even if the nominal value is small because currently there are lots of fraudsters roaming around

Be careful mate as strangers should not be trusted. There are actually some reliable exchanges you can trust with your coins without the fear of being scammed. A physical p2p transaction would have been better if you are doing it with someone you trust, remember that bitcoin transactions are irreversible once done. I just hope you know what you want.

Why do you want to exchange your BTC here? There are various centralized exchanges to exchange BTC. You can use any exchange of top rank. Just like withdrawal fee is required to withdraw from exchange, you have to pay escrow fee to exchange on forum. So I don't understand what is the additional benefit of exchanging BTC on the forum.

Why do you care about making a physical p2p otherwise known as offline p2p, you may have your own reason for choosing that but i want to inform you that you can make use of GazetaBitcoin as an escrow for you to achieve your target, he is such a reputable member of the forum and can be trusted, some will also prefer the use of an exchange for this but it will have to depend on what we have chosen as preference or medium for our exchange.

I don't have a whitelist as to which users are trusted or not because i also don't have a trading history with any of the users on the forum. But you can try it with yourself on the Marketplace (Altcoins) board [1] because you want it to end up for an altcoin. Never trade with a newbie or low ranking user unless they already have a good reputation, you can see this from the "Trust" on their account.

Or alternatively you can trade with me, but if it's only a small amount, i don't have much to trade on a large scale.

There are many trusted members who can provide the service, but do not expect it to be cheap compared to the fees on any of the trading exchanges. The exchange here will exempt you from withdrawal fees on any of the exchanges, but it will cost an exchange fee in addition to the Escrow fee if you use it.

In addition to the options suggested by members in previous comments, there is a subsection here on the forum dedicated to currency exchange. I am not certain that all active traders there are trustworthy, so it will be important to verify any member you may deal with based on his history of trust and activity on the forum. In extreme cases, it would be better to use Escrow if you intend to exchange a large amount.

You can also publish the offer in the services board if one of the trusted members has an account on one of the exchanges that lists the token you want to buy, and he will undertake the task for a fee, that is, without charging a percentage on the full amount. Of course, this will be based on prior agreement.

Perhaps if you explain more details about how much money you intend to exchange and what token you want to buy, we will be able to suggest more accurate solutions to help you.

Bitcoin is top notch project in the market and we can easily spot out the good means to start trading P2P and also offline. We make exchanges with the current scenario of the market and very advisable to make dealing with the current situation of the market. Recommending traders to you is also stationed to be risky because the heart of humans are extremely wicked.

It depends on what token you want to exchange BTC for. You first need to find a market that has a pair for it with BTC, if it's a fairly stable token you should not struggle to find one.

If you're interested in your privacy and will not want to trust an exchange, use a DEX that allows self custody and doesn't require KYC, go to https://kycnot.me/ for a good list of options.

When you've found a market, follow basic rules of trade, read the instructions on the exchange and follow them, you can test with a small amount of BTC first to be sure you understand everything before making a larger trade. Good luck.

You don't even need to trust individual people here; you can just use available-to-use non-custodial exchanges or so-called "DEXs". The only time you need to do the transactions directly peer-to-peer is when converting crypto<->fiat.

Always remember: proceed with caution, dyor, you know the drill!

Depends on what exactly you want to Trade and how big the amount of it is.
If you have some Token in your mind you want to have you should be look in that Topics for.
Also if you have found somebody to trade with you should be first look at the Trust Feedback if they got some trades already and how it was going.

But this also says nothing on the one hand , but you can use some escrow service some Users offers.
You can find a list here : Few Trusted Escrow Providers
Personal i can recommend willi9974 for that.

Good Luck.
