290x's have a bad $/khs ratio, go for something like a 7970 or a 7950. both have much better ratios

Can you invest in any sort of bespoke GPU for mining? Or at this point has no one developed this?

some people say it's not worth mining with gpu anymore but some of them still mining.
bunch of gpu miners are transferred from btc mining to ltc (scrypt), diff is rising rapidly on scrypt and gpu-s are not getting any better in speed. my opinion, not worth it anymore.
it is up to you to decide.
anyhow... get your self a powered PCI-e risers 1x-16x and 16x-16x and connect your gpu-s to mobo.
each gpu is sucking around 250w and rest of the system need another 300w so without at least 850w PSU don't even think about it.

Hey, I have this current setup:

Mobo: GA-Z77X-UD5H [rev 1.0]
Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHz
GPU: GTX 560 Ti
Memory: 32 Gig Ram

Yet I only get about 80 MHs when mining with asteroid miner. My main question is how is it possible to attach multiple GPU's to this setup? I am thinking about buying 2x AMD Radeon R9 290x. I'm not sure if this is a good investment or not, any advise?
