Thanks, yea that's what I'm aiming at right now, in case of any trouble.
I'd like to add that I highly doubt anyone is going to tag you just because you made a thread self-moderated.  At least not anyone whose trust carries any weight.

Also, there's now a notice at the top of all self-moderated threads that tells everyone how many posts have been deleted, so if you started deleting a whole bunch of them then someone may start to wonder if there was a problem.  Otherwise, you could quote the post, defend yourself if it's an accusation against you, and then delete the post.  Or you could just delete it.  Or you could make a local rule against specific members posting in your thread.

I agree with your position about not wanting to self-moderate a moneymaking guide thread, since it's best to keep everything out in the open...but there's not much else in the way of defending yourself against people telling lies about you.

The short answer is: You can't.

Lies and scams are not moderated (see quote from the rules thread below). You only have to go in to Reputation for 10 seconds to see thread upon thread filled with lies and trolling about several different members. Your only option here is to create a self-moderated thread, but selling from a self-moderated thread is generally viewed as being somewhat shady since you can police the comments and delete anything negative that might be said against you. Your best option is to do what you have done, and simply directly respond to the allegations.

Q: Do you moderate/delete (possible) FUD, accusations and untrue information?
A: No. We don't have enough time to check every single piece of information and verify the validity of the sources. Also, just like scams - too much room for bias and abuse.

User "hiscall" accussed me of selling something which im 100% not selling. Not in the slightest. How can I avoid this false claims by randoms? Instead of me having to say i'd refund 2x the Price of it if it turned out to be as he said.

Thanks, and no, i dont want a self-moderated thread, since that got me tagged last time I did.

Yeah it looks like something fishy also considering all the details should be included when you sell something or mean something that is an investment. If you hide thw details then therefore it could be a high chance that it will be a scam. As we all know that man scam threads nowadays so if you do not want to be tagged as scammer or something then it might be good to include all the details in your thread and for that one can assess if it really a legit or not. One could not claim legit just by saying that one is legit 100% it needs a concrete evidence how it will going to work.

Thats why reviews are for, feel free to check them. Why would I sell a method if I have to go into details about it first? Pointless, hence I offered vouch copies, and I still do for extreme trusted members of our community, other people I sell to. I'm not selling an investment, but a guide.

Is this a promo thread for your offering?

Can I ask one question - if the scheme is so good, why do you want others to use it, and possibly reduce its effectiveness for you?
This is something that I always wonder when people offer ways to make money. I keep all my best ideas to myself.

It doesnt matter honestly, as I stated its unaffected by over-saturation.

About me posting here, is because I got nowehere else to go to ask about this. But I guess I got no more options, I don't really want a self-moderated thread honestly.

Since you are allowed to create self moderated thread, no one has the right to red tag you, theoretically. Who tagged you, by the way?

It was a locked thread actualy, but still. That was solved.
So you are allowed to do tho,

Keep your thread self moderated and avoid any kind of posts which is irrelevant to your subject.

I do not see any tag. I thought it was because of my custom DT setting then I checked with ;dt and the result is same.

What is your case? All I see is - you are selling some money making guide. I hope this is not something Ponzi or this kind of doublers. If this is legal then I don't think any one will tag you.

To avoid trolls the only thing you can do is - create self moderated topic which you don't want to by reading your OP. In this case you can not do anything. Mods are not going to moderate the topic for you.

The only way to prevent it is by making a self-moderated topic. The downside is that people might not trust you because of that, because you can simply delete any critical post about you.

yea, thats my issue about it. I don't want to prohibit people to post on my thread or anything, I just don't want blatant lies to be spread there. Even though I offered him to ask any of my reviewers if its the method he said it was and I even offered 2x refund if so it was or was slightest similar to that or had anything to do with instagram

I need another solution

You can report the posts to a moderator but it's highly unlikely that they will be removed.
