Yeah, thanks. When the Electrum standalone is launched from a USB drive, it actually presents you with a wizard and asks you if you want to load a wallet or not.

I prefer Zakir over Muhammed when mentioning me!
Copy default_wallet from Electrum datadir[1] and put it in your USB. Then, open Electrum portable and open default_wallet from window. Alternatively, you can export seed and then import it in your portable wallet.

Always keep your seed safely!

P.S. At the end of http://bitzuma.com/posts/a-beginners-guide-to-the-electrum-bitcoin-wallet/, you can see how to import/export Electrum seed.

So I put the standalone executable available on Electrum.org on my USB drive, but how exactly do I apply my current wallet file to that executable?

Hi. How exactly can I transfer my wallet to a USB drive? I lost Internet but a neighbor was nice enough to lend me her wi-fi, but I'm gonna reserve any secure online stuff for the library, so I need to put my wallet on a USB drive.
