Finally managed to get everything straightened out!

Now, the problem I have is that it's requesting for a password before I can use my bitcoin as payment. I don't know what they want me to put in that field. Any ideas?

This is the order screen. I clicked on the "Pay with Bitcoin" link which launched MultiBit HD and prompted me to accept the transaction. Maybe the info I need to put in the Password field is in there? So confusing...

The password that they are asking you to put their is a password that has been made by your self at the beggining when you first setup the wallet .
Now if you forgot it then you can restore it using the wallet words (aka seed) as it says here : https://multibit.org/en/help/hd0.1/restore-password.html , the wallet words should be generated automatically when you first setup the wallet and you had to write them down I suppose otherwise you couldn't process with making the wallet on the first place .

I can't do much to help for what comes to CEX.IO because they are simply an exchange like other exchange services out there , the problem you have isn't problem on Bitcoin or the network or the Multibit HD wallet , it's from CEX.IO services so you should contact them by email or call them , they should help you out.
They don't appear to have a phone number.

Nothing would please me more than to have somebody say "Click here, do this, do that..." and guide me through this process on a click-by-click basis! Unfortunately, it's an absolute mish-mash of crap with a million security measures that do nothing but frustrate me to no end.

Can you believe that I'm doing all of this because a couple of incompetent merchants can't accept my credit cards for some reason they don't even want to investigate?

What a mess. If I had a choice, I would just give up at this point. I'll have 3 heart attacks before this day is over. I'm honestly at a table-flipping mad stage, right now! This is painfully unreasonable unnecessarily convoluted.

It's not that hard , but yes you are not wrong , Multibit HD is a little bit complicated for newbies.
No kidding!

This is so abstract that it's hard to grasp.

Anyway, first of all, THANK YOU for replying! I followed your instructions and did a withdrawal operation of 0.0001 bitcoin (the bare min) to test the waters. Didn't enter an amount in Multibit HD but entered it in the Withdraw screen on CEX' website, following THEIR instructions. I got this message from the CEX website afterwards.

"We sent you a confirmation code on your email. Please confirm your action by clicking on the link in your email."

Never got the email. With no exaggeration, this entire fiasco is probably one of the most frustrating things I have ever had to go through in my life. I have (no joke) been at it for the past 5h and am no closer to being able to spend the bitcoins I purchased! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any help you could provide would definitely be appreciated. Thank you so much once again!

So you do this : Go to "Send/Request" Tab => Click "Request" then you should get something like this :

So you basically copy that long address and you paste it on the withdrawal page on CEX.IO and you should be good to go. (you don't have to choose the amount or anything , just copy the address and you can decide how much you send from CEX.IO ) !
Feel free to ask more questions if you got any !

1st-timer, here. Trying to get the hang of it, but it's pretty frustrating.

Anyway, bought some Bitcoin through CEX.io and istalled MultiBit HD. Created a wallet. Can't figure out how to take the Bitcoins I purchased and transfer them to my wallet.

CEX told me to go to my CEX wallet, click on Withdraw where I'm met with a field that says "Enter the recipient's address below."

On my MultiBit HD application, under Wallet Dashboard, I have something called Wallet Directory that has a long code in it. Is that it?

I'm so confused and there are absolutely ZERO tutorials on doing this specific thing and just so frustrated by the whole thing.

Can anybody please help a n00b out?
