If you want to do less but with that pay, one thing is to leverage those jobs. Hire someone to do it for you and split the salary that you'll get in there, you'll have lesser work time because someone is taking care it for you.
Others are telling this and says that it can be done so just rinse and repeat and do it many times. But it's not easy to be honest. Improve a high paying skill and you'll be able to make that.
You need to be an expert level to what you're doing before you pass on the job to another one but of course, with your supervision. I see people that does this, they apply and find clients especially in graphics and then after accepting such jobs, they'll look for an artist in the freelancing market to get the job done.
I'm not sure what others will tell about that but it happens.
