Signature compaign are better to promote your exchange or buy adspace in bitcoin related sites. You can also try ananymous ads or other bitcoin related adnetworks.

Don't start with an empty or thin order book. Have a look at liquidcoin.io - they offer custom liquidity and market making solutions that will provide pricing and market depth. Lack of market depth, volume and tight spreads is an issue with a lot of the new exchanges. Strong fundamentals will attract traders.

Try setting up a signature campaign here or place a bid in the auction thread that theymos runs to get an ad slot.

Be active on twitter, facebook, google+, reddit, etc.

Signature campaign will do.
that come across as flaky or unreliable, google adwords is a better choice

So there is a new bitcoin exchange website, just launched. Any ideas on how can one promote it and get people to sign-up and start using their services? Bitcoin community is very unique and the ways to reach them are bit different than any normal business requirements. Shoot your suggestions !
