This is already an old and non-working trick, "beginners" cannot understand that they reveal themselves with such topics. Such topics are annoying and make you rewrite the same advice thousands of times. For some reason, "beginners" have decided that there is no need to read anything on the forum, and from the first day it is necessary to create a topic with meaningless and identical questions. And also advice has been pouring , but the OP is not yet grateful that so many people are trying to explain to him the importance of his appearance on the forum.

Request to the moderators. There are a lot of tips in this thread that will help not only this newbie but also the next. All tips repeat each other.

The rules for bitcointalk should prohibit such behavior. I've never really studied it in detail, but each community should have rules regarding acceptable behavior, so I'm guessing bitcointalk does too.

Not just the merit system, s/he is too focused as well in bounty campaigns just by looking on how s/he mentions "payment".
Feels like someone could have referred him/er in here to earn.

Reason why he keeps opening new threads is simple; either this is alt account of a more experienced member and he knows that Beginners & Help board is generally good for merit farming purposes, or someone told him that's the way to do it.

Either way, he sucks at it as he is too focused on merit system, which is weird (to say the least) for a genuine newbie.

It's like when you read a job application. It usually says that the 'ideal' candidate should have these qualities... The emphasis is on ideal. The bounty manager is looking for that type of posters, but if they are not available, they'll have to accept the next best thing. That means lowering the initial requirements.

Also, I am sure that most bounty managers have some sort of shortlist where they put down the names of users they have worked with in the past and they know what to expect from them. If they don't meet all the requirements, they can still get accepted if they offered good services in the past.

What's with all these burst threads at the moment? Can you just ask these in a single thread?

No, it should not be the parameters, I have seen some members accepted on a campaign even though there are merit requirements, there are good posters who don't have enough merits at the time of the application but they are accepted because they are good quality posters, for every rule, there's always an exception.

Bounty managers are looking for merits for the last 90 days I remember applying for one campaign and I have no merit on that period but still got the nod of the manager, bounty managers look on quality posts more than anything else.

Merit is activation energy of any account to be accelerated or elevated, so considering the factor that been here, the first target is to build your account to enable you to grow, and the only process an account to grow is to earn a Merit.

Does our payment depends on our Merit? Answer to your question is NO  because many people have one thousand (1000) merits to two thousand (2000) merits but their not in any signature campaign, so such is trying to let us understand that getting payment is not because of merit, the primary and secondary function of merit is to change a rank position of a user according to Merit ranking rules of the community.

How can you earn merit? This particular question has appeared to your topic like twice which by now suppose to understand the concept you can earn merit but nevertheless any question deserved an answer, Solution the only source you can earn a Merit is through your positive contributions and a research that's close related to cryptocurrency and meaningful response or suggestions via Bitcointalk community.

I think that 5 questions has been answered and so far the reply was all good. I am going to add that merits is not just a tool for knowing your payment in signature campaign. Its the most useful tool to know if a user is good and qualiry poster. By means of good is subjective like the user is very humorous and he make other laugh or smile when he response or post. Meritd can be given on this kind of post cause its actually depend on the sender appreciation of something he read.

Merit is of the forum and means virtually nothing outside of the forum. Unlike the coins and tokens that may be useful else where and valued every other place, merits are nothing of such. Its just unique to bitcointalk and functions in a few capacity.

One thing you should know of merits is that, its neither bought nor sold or given off due to pleas from a user. This could be seen as an abuse when faulted and the fault reported.

Merits was introduced as an instruments that promotes activeness and ensure that posts on the forum adds value and becomes more informative on its subject matter as it concerns the forum. This we call quality post which remains definitive based on each users criteria.
Merits also functions in the ranking of an account. This is made possible in the sense that, your rank is determined by the amount of merits a user acquires in conjunction with the activities on the account. Once thses two criteria are met, an account is ranked up as appropriate.
Its got nothing to do with the trust system. Trust system comes or is bestowed on an account by a user based on his perception of how worthy you might be from a previously engaged transaction  with that user and your referenced as such.

Merist are valued as such on this note otherwise, its of no use. Mind you, it works pretty fine as to its purpose.

No, merit are made and implemented in this forum to encourage everyone to posts constructive posts or threads, reduce spam/shitposts and it is also one of the requirements to rank up. To give merit, you must have available smerits which you automatically generatd once you receive 2 merits (1 merit received is equal to 0.5 smerit). To send merit, you need to click the +merit button and input the total of smerits you wanted to send and the receiving user will receive 1 merit instead of smerit. You'll be able to see the  +merit button once you receive a total of 2 merits from any forum users.

Yes and No. Yes, because if you have merits which is eligible for higher rank then you can receive higher payment if you are a participant in a paid signature campaign. No, because every transaction is not dependent on merit e.g, of you receive payment merit is not used to receive or sens payment.

As I mentioned, merit is not needed to receive payment instead we provide a wallet address to receive payment. The importance of merit?, read the explanation above.
