Is this even a question? Airdrops are already free money, and it depends on the market price of it being listed, but that's already profit, IMO. Unless you have a conversion on the amount of money per time you have, it would be easily quantified.

Having airdrops is a way to get people involved in the project; if it's good, people will stay active.

I know that you are already profitable if you put time and effort into the project.
But that's the opposite of what most airdrop participants do. They're on a guessing game trying to get involved in the project with the hopes that they'd get significant reward afterwards when it's already set in the market. It's true that airdrops should be a way to introduce their product in the community and with some rewards on the side for the efforts exerted with participation, that should be just thought as an incentive and not something to live off. And what the participants retaliate whenever they didn't receive expected money on their heads from the airdrops, they'd curse the project because of total frustration. But you said it right that if it's a good one, most people will remain active and won't leave it as soon as it gets listed on many exchanges.

I am still one of those who do not believe in easy and quick profit, so airdrop campaigns have always been for me a means of marketing any failed cryptocurrency more than it may indicate a success characteristic of the project behind. I do not deny that there are airdrops that have been relatively successful in gaining a place for the token in the market, but it remained a very partial success that only the project team really benefited from, or some airdrops that were in the form of rewards for users of one of the services, as happened with old uniswap users.

Currently it seems that the popularity of Telegram is being exploited to obtain the largest number of users by carrying out a free distribution process without any of the conditions of efficiency, and the project itself is a meme currency. Who would have imagined that any of the meme projects would succeed? Especially if they are meme projects and started with a free airdrop campaign? This may be far from reality, and no matter how popular these currencies are and are listed on the largest exchanges, their main driver remains the hype, and nothing guarantees their continuity, whether in the medium or even shortest term.
Some talked about investing and I would never advise him to invest his own money or the effort he will make in order to hopefully profit one day from one of these projects, whether on Telegram or even here on the forum, but there is no harm in getting free coins that will not cost anything if the process takes into account privacy conditions, which is not certain at all.

I participated in the distribution of the Dogs coin and all I got does not exceed $14 (its value at the current price). I might think about getting rid of them quickly if the price drops further.

my question is actually how can you actually be profitable with airdrops? i personally have not participated in one (yet, i am very interested in doing so) so i have no idea how many tokens are given for free for each address? is it just one or two? if so, how is that profitable when a lot of projects don’t even reach $1 and it will just be luck if it reaches three digits.

i got curious because in that post i saw, many said that you can earn two to three digits (in us dollars) with airdrops so how are you profitable if you have 5 tokens from airdrops and its ath reaches just about a dollar?

Can't tell you how to be profitable with airdrops because they are all luck.

Regarding how many tokens are given to airdrop participants, it depends on total supply of particular coin/token and how much of total supply is allocated for community airdrop. For example, some project may have 100M total supply, 10% (10M) allocated for community then rough estimation would be that participants will receive hundred to few thousands tokens each.

In determining price many factors are involved, there is no telling what could be the price.

Why not give it a try? I mean it's easy to do.
i wouldn’t exactly call it easy lol

i have checked out multiple airdrops and it’s not the simple “give me your wallet and i give you the airdrops” anymore these days you need to play their games first, test their tokens and etc

i guess it’s just a little effort compared to the kind of profit you might earn but it can be a bit useless if the project ends up failing

I have participated in the airdrop program several times, and I have several coins in my wallet, but almost all the coins I got from the airdrop have no value. Maybe I'm one of the people who was unlucky in choosing an airdrop program. In fact, the purpose of the airdrop is only as a means of introducing newly launched or developed projects. So those who take part in this program are usually tasked with sharing stories either about the project on social media platforms or some users who perform certain tasks for the project owner so that the coin gains popularity. Maybe you can also try it yourself by participating in certain airdrop programs, where you will get some lucky coins.

The meaning of airdrop in the crypto community means giveaway. In my opinion, it is a process of giving out newly launched or developed projects to some users that participated in sharing good words about the project on either social media platforms or some users that perform specific tasks for the project owners so that the coin will gain popularity.

Back then, in the last decade, airdrops have been a god source of gaining free tokens, and the coins do normally do well in the crypto space. As a result, many users use airdrops as a means of earning money and a means of holding some coins, depending on how they believe in the project. Now, airdrops are not as legit as they used to be because scammers have found methods easier to get access to users' wallets to move some of their valuable coins they may be holding in their wallets. Yet, there are good projects that are coming through airdrops, but be cautious about the projects you participate in to avoid being scammed.

If you want to participate in airdrops, make sure you have a separate wallet for your airdrops, and once you are lucky to hit money from any of the projects, make sure you withdraw the coin from your airdrop wallet because the wallets are public and can easily get compromised.

Generally, airdrop hunting is pretty rewarding if you know how to find good projects and be cautious when connecting your wallet for any claim. Personally, my favourite niche is testnet airdrops and that's where you can easily get the "5 digit reward". Some of the recent testnet with huge airdrops are Heroes of Mavia, SatoshiVM, Polyhedra etc.

But having said that, other genuine non-testnet airdrops can be rewarding like Notcoin, ICE and Avive.

Airdrops have gone a long way but most people here didn't know yet that there is only one way to profit from the airdrops? That is you will only like their social media pages and repost one post that they feature. After that, you will just leave your crypto address and wait for it to be delivered later on.
LOL.
Where are the airdrops like the ones that are booming with just the task of liking their page and retweeting their social media after that leaving the wallet and receiving payment? Airdrops are not that easy now, you have to do tasks all the time as long as the airdrop is running.
If you do that and say it on social media X they are just using you to increase their followers.

The knowledge that we can gain on them are only related to crypto and not really a general one but we still can benefit with it to improve our making money potential here in crypto. Telegram or tapping airdrops are the new narratives here in the airdrop world. You can always research more about them if you have a time, in order to familiarize your self about them.
Airdrops now are not easy, you have to have a lot of free time to do research and also chase for a long time while the airdrop is still going on.
Every time there is a new narrative, it will be hype among the community including tap tap airdrops, but only notcoin is successful, the others are still not there.

Airdrop is profitable when you join the project on time and follow rules to participate, before you can earn the project token and airdrop is really paying if you can information on time to join the right one. Hence, they are many airdrop in system, but few succeed and also be tradable. Therefore what one needs to earn airdrop is appropriate information. Airdrop pays.

It's normal for people to fear not making any money from airdrops, because there were thousands of them where people made nothing, but it is also normal that people are hopeful about them because there were very few that made people thousands of dollars.

So in the end, some people quit it because they do not think that it will make any money at all, and some people still do it because they believe even if they do hundreds of terrible ones, eventually they may do one that will give them thousands of dollars. Both are valid, and I would understand both in their own versions, I personally belong to ones that do not apply that much, unless it's a great one I believe in, but I am also not against people who chase airdrops neither.

Usually, in airdrops, the common rewards that qualified participants will receive are only of small value. It's very rare that someone earns from airdrops of around 3 digits,
and the only thing I know is that there are people who earn from airdrops of 3 digits who have participated in uniswap airdrops before, according to the research that I found out.

Besides, no one gets rich from airdrops most of the time; it can even be the owner of the coin who gives airdrops to those who believe in the program like the one we are talking about.

Most people who profit from airdrops do lots of airdrops continuously because they don't know which airdrops will pay out and turn into money later. Most of them get profits after several months or years of doing airdrops. However, because it is easy to do, they always do it. Additionally, there may be many airdrops that don't pay out or have poor payouts. However, some airdrops have paid above $50 or even above $100, although this is very rare.
It also sometime requires us to expend capital to follow airdrop, more specifically the ones that got retroactive airdrop that requires interaction, not to mention most of airdrops right now are point based it literally incentivizes spending of bigger capital and bigger fee so the small shrimp will get nothing.
so aside from the fact that people will try whatever airdrop potential there is, they also will risk their money doing the airdrop, added with the fact that airdrop hunter are really vulnerable to getting their money stolen due to contract breach or scam project.

so in a nutshell, it just like any other ways of making money, which is risking our own money hoping there will be great benefit.

Airdrop is a way to get coins for free and practically, so it is not surprising that many crypto users take part in airdrops, but you need to know that getting coins from airdrops is not as easy as turning the palm of your hand, because not all airdrops can provide payments like that. promised, that's why everyone registers to get more airdrops, because it gives them a great opportunity to get paid from airdrops.

In my opinion, one of the best ways to get profit from airdrops is to participate in as many airdrops as possible, especially since participating in airdrops is a very easy thing to do, so you have the opportunity to get big profits later.

do you means is that you want to advertise airdrop that you participating right? I not yet tried it, but most airdrops have tracking location, IP, etc. So whether the conversion will be in accordance with airdrop, I don't know worth it or not. It's better to try first with a small budget and try on some social platform.

Airdrop was money printer when it's not overcrowded right now. those CT in twitter telling you things about airdrop that could print 5 digits money to you usually just farming engagement and just gonna give you information about the shittest airdrop there is often the overly diluted ones.

currently airdrop is at that stage where most of the project are simply not profitable anymore because dilution of rewards, after knowing that some people making 5 digits from airdrop alone, everyone went crazy and try the airdrop it dilutes the market so i'm torn and kind of pessimistic with the current state of airdrop, not to mention most of airdrops right now focusing more on staking capital. so, if right now you're still seeking for airdrop and become profitable out of it, try to get big capital to stake and see the most legit project that offers their token at TGE in exchange for your contribution through staking.
otherwise you're trying to find opportunity where it don't exist.

i got curious because in that post i saw, many said that you can earn two to three digits (in us dollars) with airdrops so how are you profitable if you have 5 tokens from airdrops and its ath reaches just about a dollar?

To make profit with airdrops you can do following

1) If you do tasks manually, there will be limit to earnings.

2) Do not chase only free airdrops, you will be competing with many in these. Instead, there are airdrops which require you to stake some money or do some transactions, these are more fruitful.

3) You can also hire some VAs to scale airdrop work. But do this only after you have mastered the basics yourself and have started earning from airdrops already.
Airdrops are mostly a waste of time for inexperienced bounty or airdrop hunters, they don't know how to maintain the requirements that bring more stakes to holders. Mostly, airdropped altcoins don't get listed on average crypto exchanges, in such cases, it is not going to be worth even a penny since there is no demand by other investors. I have to agree, to put some effort into getting more tokens or coin amounts but you never know which aidrop is going to be profitable.
It is not only the inexperienced, both the experienced and inexperienced may lose their money or miss out with airdrops, it only depends on luck at times and how the brains behind the project make it easy for you. It could be easy for some people to run their mouths about this as though it is easy or a certain approach to it, but I tell people to avoid deceit, there isn't. Many of them know what they are doing, they only need most people for relevance and social media presence, so when there is a huge marketing presence already, they might start demanding what people may not be able to meet as conditions to proceed.

At the same time, some may even be a scam or too little in reward for the money, time and energy wasted on them.  This is why I do not give in to the airdrops and I even dislike people using some styles to compel me to do their bidding, especially with my social media accounts. I feel so little of myself doing that, which has been helping me to avoid wasting my time. And if I should use a fraction for this, the airdrop that works should be about 1/1000, if not less.

Totally disagreed with your opinion. It's caused by there are many platforms provided you simple steps to join in airdrop. Also, you can identify which airdrop has a high chance to succeed. You just join the airdrop run by a company that got investments from many venture capitals.
It's also helping you a lot in saving your time to avoid the scam projects by analizying it one by one. It's a very simple step, and i have done it. And last, a lot of airdrop altcoins are continuously listed on exchange site, and it depends on what airdrop you have joined with.

The only way for you to become profitable when it comes to airdrop is when you give it a try. You can not be profitable or understand it when you don't understand what's actually happening or how it works. I know that you might have heard that their are scam airdrops too that are meant to take you money which is why you need to give it a try. Airdrop do not require and money for activation or transfer or your coin which you mined.

You need to understand some certain rules about airdrops so that you don't go against it which could make you loss money or forfeit your earnings that you might have suffered for to acquire. Sometimes greed is what make some persons lose their airdrop claiming due to cheating and you will have to understand that.

There are no guaranteed profits in airdrops, it's all about your luck the price of the coin or token you are going to get, and how much you are going to get. Some people even spend money for airdrops these days because some projects, mostly L2s, announce that they are going to launch their token and do an airdrop for people who participate in their testnet and become early users. Those who spend money on this, some of them qualify for the airdrop and some don't, and those who don't qualify simply lose their money.

Free airdrops are almost useless these days because projects that giveaway their tokens for free to a large audience will surely have no value for its coin, but Telegram-based tap-to-earn projects are gaining a lot of traction these days and they may get some success.

Honestly, there are many airdrops in the crypto industry, and some people are making a reasonable amount of profit from those airdrop projects. However, the truth is that nowadays, fake airdrop projects are too many. So, for anybody who wants to participate in airdrops now, they have to be very careful because scammers are using airdrops to steal people's funds. Therefore, everyone who wishes to participate in airdrops should always thoroughly research to avoid these scammers.

anyway my question is actually how can you actually be profitable with airdrops? i personally have not participated in one (yet, i am very interested in doing so) so i have no idea how many tokens are given for free for each address?

The best thing to do is to put it into practice first. Try to start and really see what is happening there; I think that will be the best. Nobody can say the exact amount of tokens given in an airdrop because it depends on the amount of tokens that the project allocated and also on the type of task someone carries out. But the truth I will tell you is: don't fully depend on airdrops. Sometimes it will not happen as you may think, because some projects may not do well."

If you want to work on airdrop, first you need to choose good airdrop. There are many scam projects, if you participate in those scam projects your wallet can be hacked. Scam projects will never pay just waste your time. I have done many airdrops but have not received any payment till now, so now I try to participate in good projects. Currently there are some good mining projects from which we can get some profit. Don't expect much profit from airdrop without investing.

There are lots of airdrops out there, but I will say most of them are just fake, and some of them that are real, You won’t be making much money from them, they aren’t really worth it. But since participating in airdrops doesn’t require investing money in them or any serious activity, it’s not really a bad idea if it’s given a trial, but you shouldn’t expect anything serious from it, so that you won’t be disappointed if the payment that you receive is below your expectations.

anyway my question is actually how can you actually be profitable with airdrops? i personally have not participated in one (yet, i am very interested in doing so) so i have no idea how many tokens are given for free for each address?
When participating in an airdrop, every project has its own rules, so every project has its own amounts that they allocate for airdrop, so you won’t know the amount that is allocated for every airdrop because there is no fixed amount for it.

To make money from airdrops you need to be a patient enough person. If you make an airdrop and wait for the payment of that airdrop after making an airdrop, you will never receive payment from that single airdrop. Not all airdrops are usually successful. If you do 50 or 100 airdrops correctly, you might get paid from four or five campaigns. If you want to earn money from airdrops then you should continue all types of airdrops without skipping any airdrops so that you can see that you are getting paid from any one airdrop campaign.
That's right, most airdrops are not profitable, but not a few also provide decent benefits if we do it right, because basically the airdrop campaign is a win-win in a campaign like this, but clearly, there are some people in my neighborhood who have changed their lives from airdrops, and that indicates that airdrops are pretty good if we work on them seriously, and yes the chances are very small that out of the 100 projects we work on may not necessarily be able to provide that, but one or two can pay for our fatigue in doing it.

Moreover, usually a large airdrop usually takes a long time in the process so it takes patience and discipline too.

The airdrops has become a big things now in terms of advertising, we all know that some airdrops take a very long time before paying, but it's not that they will not pay they pay at any time they like with big profitable. But why I know blame blame some people's that are no having interesting in some of platforms is due to how scammers are involving in some of the platforms, many people's will work on some Airdrop and at the end of day they not have any achievements.

Having interesting in airdrops doesn't matter, because the airdrops also deserves skills that a person need to know before starting it, airdrops deserves a lot of patience, because not all airdrops ending successful they are some that after wasting all the efforts they run without paying.

i got curious because in that post i saw, many said that you can earn two to three digits (in us dollars) with airdrops so how are you profitable if you have 5 tokens from airdrops and its ath reaches just about a dollar?
Did they tell you how much they need to invest just to get those free 2-3 digits worth of money?
5 tokens from airdrops are very few if you have a huge amount of money that you can allocate through participating with these airdrops.

The reality about airdrops is, the more you invest, the more you will get. That's always the case, and it has been for a very long time. Those who have huge money invested are the ones that will be rewarded the most. Those who joined at the earliest time possible and invested huge money are the ones that will get most of the share. Sometimes, it isn't only 3 digits but even 4-5 digits. In contrast, there are some projects that only required a few bucks in order to get a huge number of tokens through airdrops.

Airdrops are profitable only if: 1. You know which airdrops are legit 2. You have huge amounts of money to risk with.

There are different ways to profit from airdrops. You can gain knowledge, money, and experience from airdrops, especially testnet airdrops. I'm not familiar with Telegram or tapping airdrops, which mainly involve performing social tasks to earn rewards. However, for testnet and some decentralized app airdrops, there is much to gain from them.

What post do you refer to? Please enclose the link here to make it clear.  Undecided
According to my experience, it is very difficult to earn money from airdrops. Most of airdrops are scams and weak projects, I only got for cents from airdrops. In my point of view, the most recommended airdrops is the airdrop from reputable exchanges or platforms. So, be careful if those are airdrops from new projects.

5 tokens or 5 type of tokens. Make it clearer, please!
It depends on what tokens you get. If the tokens have the prices under $1, it is impossible to earn three digits. But if the price of 1 token is above $1k, you are sure to get three digits. Unfortunately, it is like impossible to get 5 tokens that worth three digits in dollars from 1 airdrop.

You already answered it by yourself. It depends on luck and I guess if the task of the airdrops are easy enough for you to be eligible to join the airdrops then I guess it's fine to join. Make sure to read what you do and what you promote so it's not against what you believe. There were some of the big airdrops happened that requires you to interact with their apps like exchanges, but it's pretty rare nowadays.

You usually receive more than 5 but well, it depends on the tokens and the methodology they have in releasing in airdrops. And yes, it's profitable cause you spent nothing, pretty sure that's what most people use as a metric whenever they mean something "profitable". And you usually do multiple projects in the first place to maximize everything. They don't really have something like a "non compete" clause like companies do.

And in general you don't even expect it to reach $1 anyway. Most airdrops just giveout a shitton of coins most of the time so the small price would generally be ignored. It's not a guarantee that you'd profit though, but I'd say if people got $10 out of it they'd generally say they profited already.

Airdrops are like you bet in the lottery and the bet that you'll use are your time and effort. Because no guarantee money that you'll be getting there and the developers are smart enough to hype their participants so that their project will be continuously be advertised by everyone who thinks of receiving something out of them. If you think that getting into airdrops are profitable, probably half truth. Those that have been doing it for the longest period of their time have already accepted that not every airdrop they join are going to give them some success.

You can try it yourself joining the airdrop task, some are complicated, some are easy, whichever you understand you will feel how to join the airdrop.

Profit is not a benchmark where you will always be profitable when working on this airdrop according to the level and level you are working on even if you have to spend capital to airdrop now (that's a lot of what is called retro) - Don't be $1 not paid even those who join the airdrop have experienced it, so airdrops are uncertain when they are consistent with airdrops they will feel profitable.

The tokens earned from airdrops vary depending on the points you work on.

Yes, it can be very profitable and rewarding, and it can be a waste of time and fees that you can spend to interact with a project's platform and engage in activities within the ecosystem, bridges, swaps, minting, and so on.

There are many types of airdrops. Some you can participate in for free, requiring only that you perform some activities on your social media accounts and popular communication applications. The number of tokens you receive in the end depends on the qualifying percentage allocated for the airdrop [ which you will find in the project's documents], the number of participants, and your activities. If you want to start and learn in this field and embark on the adventure confidently, gain the necessary experience, conduct your research, and become aware of the potential scams. Do not trust any posts promoted on any major platforms.

Earnings from airdrops cannot be guaranteed, if you are lucky you can earn big if not then there will be no results, but this is still worth trying especially if there is no money to risk so there is no loss if it turns out to be empty but you will regret it if you don't try it.
It's true, not all airdrops are profitable or can give us prizes, because there are also many projects that provide airdrops but they turn out to be fraudulent projects that don't even launch any coins at all, so there is no guarantee that we will get big income from airdrops.
However, if we are diligent and follow all the existing airdrops, then I also believe we will get prizes and if we are lucky we will get thousands of dollars. As long as the airdrop is free, then just go with it, we just need to take the time to do it. However, we also need to remember that we must use a wallet that is only intended for taking part in the airdrop.
For additional income, airdrop is indeed recommended for us to take part in.

Yes, like that, airdrops depend on the luck we get, but before that you need to try first and that requires more time and effort, although airdrop income is difficult to rely on, especially for beginners who want to dive into this digital stream to get free airdrops. There needs to be a basic understanding of effective strategies for getting free tokens and all of that will definitely continue.

It is almost impossible to become profitable with airdrops these days as a regular user, since most of those that claim that this is possible are either lying or instead they are using hundreds of accounts to receive several airdrops and profit from such an activity in this way.

However you can try your luck and see for yourself if I am right or not, and once you do and you find out by yourself if you can succeed this way, you can decide whether you continue to pursue this particular way to earn money.

To answer your question: yes, I can profitable from airdrops. I just need to keep participating in activities. These activities are starting with retrodrops, staking drops, providerdrops, socialdrops, and many more.  And again, the number of tokens you get from the airdrop varies based on how disciplined you are in the activities that make you eligible. It's not just one or two tokens. You can get tens, thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of tokens from airdrops.

Even though if the token of project doesn't reach $1, but this can be very profitable alas you are receiving a lot of tokens. How profitable your airdrop is determining by a simple formula, which is total tokens you received x price of token at exchange site. For the last, airdrop is very profitable as long as you know how to effectively farming it.

I provide you more data. It is about how much money was already given in airdrops to all eligible participants.

Every year, billions are distributed by projects to the public through airdrops.

Most of the airdrops aren't necessarily just giving 5 tokens free for people, things has changed, the airdrop right now calculate your allocation based on your contribution most of the time and then the project itself will try to allocate certain percent of the total supply so imagine if a project has an FDV of $1 billion, if they allocate 10% for airdrop then they are allocating $100 million worth of token to the contributor or in this case airdrop hunters.

explaining from the case of layerzero airdrop that just happened recently here's the graph of allocation

the first wave of retroactive airdrops according to their article : https://info.layerzero.foundation/introducing-zro-d39df554a9b7

Quote
Retroactive Initiatives: 8.5% of ZRO supply can be claimed by eligible participants on June 20. (More on eligibility later.)

so basically 8.5% will be distributed accordingly to the individual's allocation calculated from their contribution which usually using the guide of eligibility criteria. this example can be used to roughly understand the general landscape of most airdrops these days.
so it's not some project randomly giving 5 token anymore for free, it's more of incentivizing contribution to the ecosystem and protocol by also requiring you to use capital.

Once in a thousands i say, afterall theres no harm in trying as long as the airdrop is easy to follow and need not to invest while on it. Airdrop seems a mind boggling ways here in this crypto world. A lot just seem to take advantage from the participants by making them follow in every social media they had. But airdrop is cool for in my own honest opinion.

Airdrop are just a way for a project to appreciate her community by sharing some of the token base on certain criteria. Anyone can participate and if you are lucky enough you can be rewarded and if tokens trade well you can make good money. There is no special way to partake in an airdrop, you can basically follow a project and do the task required or you follow some influencer that post about it.

Depending on the project and the developers of it on how they're going to figure it out based on the attention and investors that they're getting. Mostly, the airdrops that are given today will depend on the network too. If they're from the telegram gaming apps, I'm not sure how they're getting investors because they're all games to be played by their users, maybe from ads or sponsors and that's how they're going to distribute it to people.

so i have no idea how many tokens are given for free for each address? is it just one or two?
It varies based on their metrics. If you do something with their bridge or you just went through the free way without spending any money. It all depends on several factors or standards that the devs will set.

i got curious because in that post i saw, many said that you can earn two to three digits (in us dollars) with airdrops so how are you profitable if you have 5 tokens from airdrops and its ath reaches just about a dollar?
That happens for some airdrops but out of the many, you'll never know if the one you'd join will give you penny, peanut, hundred or nothing.

Its been extremely difficult to be profitable with airdrops recently. There is very little chance to earn a great amount without having multiple wallets. On the other hand, if you use multiple wallets then there is high chance that you will caught as a multi users. Not only that there is also no assurance that you will get a good reward at the end as all of these airdrop farming started due to speculation and no team made announcement about the airdrop criteria in advance.
The only way I have seen people benefit from this airdrop recently are those who are ready to use their time and money to look for profit from the airdrop community, like new projects that come out either on their own blockchain or under layer two, which might need people to test their service and create transactions, and at the end they will be rewarded with loyalty tokens, which I have seen some people get off with a lot of money depending on the popularity of the project.

There is no sure-fire way to be profitable with airdrops nor are the projects worth investing a lot of time for research due to the lack of significant earnings. Airdrop rewards are peanuts.

Compared to bounties, airdrops do not really require you to do any difficult or time consuming tasks. Just do as many airdrops as you can and that will maximize your profits.
About the significant income in this airdrop depends on the airdrop project being worked on.
There are many daily airdrop recommendations that I see and I join a telegram group that does discuss airdrops every day.

Out of 100 projects, maybe only about 10%-20% will pay and have a pretty decent value and among them also provide quite large rewards such as in Airdrops several tesnets that offer quite large token incentives, Airdrops in the past such as UNI, ENS, DYDX, OP, ARB and the latest ones such as ZKsync and Layerzero and many more.

And for bounties now there is less interest because the rewards are quite small but there are more tasks to do.
I worked on Airdrops and Bounties from 2016 to now, but focused more on airdropping new projects because it was more profitable.

Don't think airdrops are profitable as some people sound it to be on social media. Just take airdrop participation as one of the simple tasks that someone does to get paid with little or no money.

The major problem people have with airdrops is dreaming of being paid big money for airdrops. That's why scammers use that mentality to their advantage to promise to attract payout for airdrops. To receive such attractive pay, the airdrop hunter is supposed to send USDT to them in exchange for the promised airdrop worth in dollars.

You will have many fall to this because initially, their mind about airdrops was that it was profitable, and they could be successful through it, while the chances of that were minimal. And to send USDT to the scammer first is not a big deal since they will later be paid(all lies)

Participating in airdrops is certainly very popular method and highly beneficial if approached with right strategy of choosing high quality projects supported by credible teams offering  projects for testing during the launching of their test net. Recently LayerZero, Zksync and taiko have rewarded their participants with generous amount of tokens for participating in various activities of airdrop faring prior to launching their main net.

If the airdrop you found do not ask for money to investment or does not need to spend money and you can earn an airdrop just by doing a simple task like posting it to Facebook, twitter and tiktok or any easy task then that is profitable because you didn't spend money, the only thing you spend is your time and energy.

Take note of other airdrops that push you to connect their dapps to your wallet some of them are risky they can drain your wallet so make sure you don't have many coins in your wallet maybe around $1 is enough for transaction fees when you receive your airdrops you can transfer them right away.

I am also doing some airdrops these days like hamster kombat hoping that I can earn a good amount of tokens to hold not for selling but waiting for altcoin season next year.

First, write at the back of your mind that airdrops are luck, no one knows it all, and the one you think will deliver the huge money into your hands might disappoint you, while the ones you think will disappoint you could be the one that will deliver the actual results. If you can do some bounty work and various tasks, there is no problem, you are qualified. But you should know that free money will come with some tasks which could be annoying at times as those people are using you for marketing purposes.

However, if you are lucky and can complete all, you may smile but know that many are scams too, so be careful. Such scams will never give you what they promised while some will lure you into involving your money and still disappear with it. Just be careful. That said, the compensation through airdrops may vary, you may earn a ridiculously low amount due to the worthlessness of the token or the amount they give you, or you can be happy with the thousands of dollars depending on the project and how lucky you are. Even if it is $50, it is money if you paid nothing for it.

DYOR diligently!

The days when airdrops were very profitable, I think, were in the past when crypto projects were looking for genuine people to reward their project tokens with and using that means to create awareness for those projects.

Nowadays, out of 30 airdrops that you might get yourself into, only very few of them might be able to give something worth your time, while some might end up giving you a zero-value token, but some actually do distribute good coins.

But it's not easy to see genuine projects that reward people with good tokens. A few have been given real money in the past few weeks, but it's hard to differentiate between a real airdrop and those fake projects in search of traffic.

Looking for few reputed ones is better than joining several airdrops. There are some that are indirect means of exposing oneself to scam and bad people. I do not think I have participated in more than 3 airdrops since 2919 that I know about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and all of them were successful projects. But I have heard of people that were scammed through airdrop offers. Trying to scam like sending phishing emails to someone and hoping he can become a victim and also telling people to pay VIP fee before they can receive  the airdrop coins but which is just also a scam.

It's really a free way to earn from airdrop. You have to join the real one and if you are a lucky person you may earn from their through project airdrop. We have seen in past many solid project has given their airdrop and many of us has earned from their. Recently we have seen many airdrops on different social media through many source as well but the question how much project are real and solid from them. So you have to research and try your luch if you are so lucky you may get airdrop and benefited.

Based on what I've read in many threads, most people said making money through airdrops is depend on luck, you either receive worthless coins, decent coins or high value coins. The thing is there are a lot worthless coins than the decent ones, only few are really have high value.
