What do you understand by bitcoin node ?
Bitcoin node is a computer that runs and executes Bitcoins decentralized commands and keeps integrated networking system secured.

my question is what requires you to perform the bitcoin nodes and how can you perform or runs a bitcoin nodes
In performing the Bitcoin node, you would need a computer system that is capable to perform your node task which then depends the type of node you want to perform that would determine the capacity of computer required.
But as equipments required, you would need a computer system, steady power supply,  internet provider and router to commute with your nodding computation

Thank you @ABCbits, @Hatchy, @Xmrhopium for the quick response. I will run node after the Christmas ends. Happy merry Christmas 🎄

I have a questions.

1.) Do we get bitcoin for running node to help pay for the power and internet payments if they want us to run nodes to get paid to do so. I'd be up to run 1,2 but need to know whether it's worth it?
You do not get paid. Your payment is in increased privacy and knowing you're contributing to the function/health of the Bitcoin network.

2.) And how to solo mine our own node?
The nodes ain't have mining capabilities. They assist the miners but collecting transactions in what we now called "mempool". They also verify confirmed transaction making sure they don't double spend.

3.) so I get it that all the transactions are stored on the node but what good is having a node if you can't buy or sell your BTC without using an exchange?
It helps support the Bitcoin network and improves your transaction privacy.

4.)does it works on sleep mode in window pc?
I don't think so, but as soon as you wake it up, it should quickly re-sync.  Wink

5.) for a special privacy how to put a BTC node into TOR network?
That's tough one. Here's some info that you can get started This link.

6.) Do you receive funds from using bitcoin node? I have several pc at my home?
Same question again! and here the questions has been asked by you are mostly repeated. https://www.talkimg.com/images/2024/12/24/DVgvd.jpeg
Anyway No, running a node does not pay any thing.

Thank you for the reply in advance.

Your questions is a bit complicated, don't confuse mining with running a node. Running a node is like a voluntary activity we bitcoiners can partake in to help strengthen the Bitcoin network, you don't get paid or receive rewards from running a node. Mining is different from running a node.

For solo mining, you get a mining rig, pay for electricity cost and try to compete with other miners out there in creating a new block on the network. Solo mining is expensive as sometime you might not be able to generate enough hash to compete with other big mining pools.

You run a node so you get to validate transactions of others or your own without need of thirdparty. That's one of the best part of running a node, you get direct access to the Blockchain. Running a node you need to keep your PC on and not on sleep mode. And yes, you can manage your wallet on your node.

A node is simply a computer connected to the Bitcoin network. Its main job is to validate transactions and ensure the network's integrity.Anyone can create their own node by downloading a copy of the Bitcoin blockchain using Bitcoin Core software.( There are others though). You can choose to create a full node or a lightweight node. To do this, you'll need a computer with sufficient storage and a reliable internet connection.

I have a questions.

1.) Do we get bitcoin for running node to help pay for the power and internet payments if they want us to run nodes to get paid to do so. I'd be up to run 1,2 but need to know whether it's worth it?

While there are some advantage (such as better privacy, better security and have access to partial/whole blockchain data), there's no financial reward for running Bitcoin full node.

2.) And how to solo mine our own node?

Most Bitcoin ASIC these days have it's own OS, where you just need to setting it to use certain mining pool. So if you really want solo mine with your own node, you'll need to run both full node and mining pool software.

3.) so I get it that all the transactions are stored on the node but what good is having a node if you can't buy or sell your BTC without using an exchange?

As i said previously, better security and privacy.

4.)does it works on sleep mode in window pc?

No, in fact your computer can't do any task while on sleep mode.

5.) for a special privacy how to put a BTC node into TOR network?

Follow this guide, https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/doc/tor.md.

6.) Do you receive funds from using bitcoin node? I have several pc at my home?

If you ask whether you get reward from running Bitcoin full node, the answer is no.

Others here have actually dropped nice links to threads and articles that explain how running a node works anyways it's nice of you to show interest in running a node and aside from that it's a positive act to run a node on the network.
Based on what Hatchy and other users have said I think you pretty much get the gist of what running a node is about. Anyways to run a regular node you need to have a decent amount of storage on your computer likely around 500Gb (but I'll recommend 1tb) and also a good ram like around 8 GB to make sure that you don't get lagging issues when syncing.

Also make sure your power supply is stable so your device does turn off during syncing because sometimes the files get corrupted and you'll have to start over.

These guides can be very helpful. Try and go through them.

I have been seeing many threads on nodes but as a newbie I don't know or really understood what it's all about not until I made a research about bitcoin nodes, from the research I came to understood that bitcoin node refers to the connections of two or more computers which follow the rules and as well share informations. Also a computer bitcoin peer-to-peer network.
Bitcoin nodes. (Learn me a Bitcoin).
Node verify blocks and transactions, and relay it in other nodes on Bitcoin network.

I also studied on some other types, the benefits and the functions of bitcoin nodes as well...my question is what requires you to perform the bitcoin nodes and how can you perform or runs a bitcoin nodes
Nodes can help to decentralized storing the blockchain and it firstly help you when you broadcast your Bitcoin transaction, you don't have to rely on any Bitcoin node, and if you use Tor when broadcasting, you will have better privacy.

If you want privacy for your transactions, run your own node with Tor connection. If you want to contribute to Bitcoin network decentralization, run your Bitcoin node.
