I've done many transactions over the last few months using PayPal both buying and selling at LBC, And have had absolutely no problems.

Have I just been lucky?

Either your risk management is very good or you've just been lucky - keep in mind that a chargeback could happen 180 days after you made a transaction.

I have never had a chargeback, but does paypal just accept chargeback requests for any kind of digital products or do they consider any kind of proof that may have been offered  by the seller or the buyer ?

Here's a discussion, including a list of reasons, which explains why some buyers just ignore Paypal.

Paypal does not have protections for trades for digital currencies currently unlike other purchases like physical goods.

When a chargeback is requested it is generally accepted and processed as they do not have much system to verify, hopefully at some point they will integrate a better solution, but if you're getting started I would not recommend even considering Paypal without someone you are 100% sure is legitimate.

I am sure there has to be a way to prove the transaction went through via transcripts. There has to be a way to win a charge back.

According to PayPal:

PayPal generally does not offer consumer protection for purchases of intangibles. According to its user agreement: " 13.3 Ineligible Items. PayPal Purchase Protection only applies to PayPal payments for certain tangible, physical goods. Payments for the following are not eligible for reimbursement under PayPal Purchase Protection" - and "Intangible items, including Digital Goods" tops the list.

If this is the case, why are people afraid of trading via PayPal?

You know why? because chargeback is still happening. There are members still being scammed via paypal because of chargebacks.
