Actually, the day I started gambling, I was filled with so much anticipation to know what the result would be and before then I was already planning on how and things I will spend my winning on my needs but disappointedly the game didn't play out successfully. After I lost that bet, I felt I would have even used the money to do some important stuff rather lose it.

It took me some times to understand how gambling really work but lately I saw a young guy complaining on how he lost a lot of money on he first day of trying out gambling. It's reminded me of how I felt too back then. So, how did you guys felt on your first lose?
The truth about new gamblers is that they think that they have a pattern that could give them a winning. But the main points is that if you are not yet a gambler, you will not know that winning the house is by luck.
Well, from what you have said I believed that you thought you could win the house at your first day in gamble, that's why you have already planned on how/what you will spend the money that you haven't seen.
Now is the time we all know that all the patterns we have planned to use on gamble have been used before and we are not the first person to try it.

Yeah, that's true. New players often feel that when they start, there is going to make a magic that will happen so that they can win the house but as they start gambling, they will then see that it was never like they have predicted it to be and at that moment, some of them will want to quit and some will do revengeful gambling while others will keep trying to understand how the game works. The truth is that every new player reacted differently to their first losses.

Anticipation and spending plans. This is one of the things that makes gambling attractive. Usually, before you start gambling, you think everything will go well, but unexpected losses can lead to disappointment. When I see the disappointment of people around me after gambling losses, it makes me think that gambling should be calculated. Otherwise, I know that every time I lose a gamble because of the greed to win money, I will lose more money the next time. Because I have always gambled small amounts, I have never been disappointed when I lose. I also think that gambling losses are an important lesson for those who do not take advice.

Feeling sad because of losing the money in gambling is normal especially in our first time in gambling. But we can not trying to gets the money back by keep playing gambling in the other days because that can attracts us to play gambling longer than yesterday. Besides that, we may want to recover our losses and trying hard to win.

If we are disappointed with our first time in gambling, we don't have to back to the casino and playing gambling. We can avoids that by doing many things so our minds will not thinks about gambling and our losses.

How can you feel when you lose? - Of course you feel disgusting. The first time I lost at cards (a game similar to poker), a fairly significant amount for me. I hate to think about it even now. Because the most disgusting thing is a few losses in a row. That's exactly how it was.
This is why I try to always avoid gambling which does require the game to have skills and also a better understanding of the game, because to be honest I am not someone who is an expert in card games or the like, I personally am more dominant to play more on slots that only rely on luck in the game, but still maintain the limit of losing money that I bet,  My biggest loss was in the game of Sweet Bonanza which even frustrated me in the days after the loss.

I lost in my first ever gambling, I was very young and I needed to win a football in a scratch and win physical gambling, anyway I lost all my money that day. I was very sad throughout that day, I wished that I had used the money for something else or saved enough to buy the ball, that first experience helped me to shape my gambling habit till today. I never gambled again till I became an adult and I now gamble without much expectations to win, it's just something that I do for the thrill of it. Because I lost all my money on my first attempt at gambling, I only use the amount that I can afford to loose for gamble.
You were the one who managed to stop gambling. And how many people were unable to overcome their gambling addiction? There are a huge number of them. I was among them. So much money went down the drain that I still regret it. Indeed, with that kind of money I could even buy a used car in my country. And not a bad one at that. Oh, how stupid and naive I was. I thought that I could make even more money this way. Only later did I realize that this is not the direction where this is a constant.

I have felt disappointed with my results, but as time goes by, I realize that gambling is never going to be a sure thing, and we have to learn the hard way by losing money. It is a part of life that you always have to go through.

I didn't have high expectations, and since I was already familiar with the nature of gambling and the difficulty of winning, I had no illusions. The Russians have a saying: "You can't divide the skin of an unkilled bear," which means you shouldn't make any plans until you get the money you think should be yours. So, of course, you can dream about how we would manage a large sum, but you should always give way to logic and not expect too much from gambling. After all, if you take it easy, your nervous system will remain healthy.

There is a big difference between the way I thought then and the way I think now. When I first gambled and lost money I was brand new to gambling and I didn't gamble with much understanding so when I lost the first bet I gambled again planning to win the next bet. By doing this I lost a lot of money by gambling but when I gradually learned that if I gambled like this I would lose all my money and one day I would become addicted to gambling then I started to use my conscience. Then later learned about gambling and tried to find the difference between the two teams before betting. Now if I lose in a gambling game I don't get too excited but I work on why I lost and what changes in strategy could have won in my favor and I think these will definitely make me a better gambler.

So, how did you guys felt on your first lose?

I didn't lose much on my first bet trying online casino. But the dice and poker games I played gave me a good gaming experience. With a little money I played for quite a long time, that's because I won and lost alternately. Even though in the end I lost, not losing in the first few rounds certainly makes us excited to try again.

I know how curious a beginner is in gambling. It is very challenging for us to keep trying and seeking our luck. But if the defeat is in a large amount, maybe beginners in gambling don't want to play anymore, or maybe some chase their defeat.

From my experience the first loss is not usually the most painful because you have no frame of reference so compare it to. However when you experience your second loss and you compare it to the first loss, the pain starts to set in. You will be thinking things like, "I didn't lose this much compared to the first time" . You'll be doing some mathematical calculations to check the variance between the first and second loss. This was my experience.

Your first loss in gambling may not be painful to you but i don't think it won't be painful to others because this is basically your first experience of loss in gambling, an experience you don't have before, you will be like what just happened now and there is this kind of fear that you will begin to have and may not stake a bet again because you will start nursing the feelings that the second time may still go thus way. First loss is more like a shocker, since you haven't been involved in gambling before. Some persons stop playing gambling after their first loss because they feel like they have thrown money away and may not want to experience such again.
Even if you don't feel much pain in your first loss and you try to make subsequent attempts and loses, and you start making comparison from your first loss, you will still be angry at yourself for making the first attempt because it basically led you to making other attempts and still suffered more losses.

I remember when I first started gambling, my first deposit was only $5. This was about 3-4 years ago, so I don't remember it clearly. But I remember that I had been saving this money for 1 week, and I didn't deposit it with the intention of losing it, but with the intention of making it 2x.
Because I didn't know much about the risks of gambling back then, so my approach was 2X. But I remember that I completely lost $5.
And that's when I became cautious, I didn't deposit again after losing like others and gambled. That's when I realized that gambling is as risky as we think it is, and it is completely dependent on luck.

Since the beginning of playing poker, I had studied the subject and knew that you can't leave the tables with winnings every day. I don't even remember the first days with losses at the tables, but I do remember the first big variance as a mixture of helplessness and some sadness as well as doubt about my game. When you see that theoretically you are doing things right but you don't stop losing you end up doubting, but in the end the variance eventually finishes and everything goes back to normal.

When I started gambling, I didn't have much experience in gambling. I gambled with little experience and a small amount of money. In my gambling experience, I lost on the second day of gambling. I felt bad about losing because I didn't have much money to gamble with later. I had earned a lot hard of money at that time and didn't want to gamble with this hard-earned money, but I had a lot of fun gaining some experience from gambling. As much as winning on the first day made me happy, losing on the second day hurt me just as much. Maybe that loss made me pay more attention to gambling later. Since then, when I gambled, I won most of my bets, and one of the reasons I won was because I was betting on sports. Now I'm quite experienced at gambling. Now I can win most of my bets.

Of course it is very painful but for me the first time gambling is our first experience to know how gambling works if we do not experience defeat maybe we will not know the risks that we will bear after that to become a responsible gambler and accept all risks of defeat because gambling is just for fun and we can not always expect victory in this game, the first time I decided to gamble I had a fear of losing but my friend told me if you want to gamble use cold money so if we lose it will not be a problem.

I’m guessing my first introduction to gambling was likely betting on making a basketballl shot, or perhaps winning a video game. Win or lose, I know I enjoyed myself and I think that is what gambling is about. I’ve seen my friends do some pretty ridiculous things due to losing bets that I don’t know any other way those situations would have happened.

The more we learn how gambling works, the more failures there are, in my opinion there is no need to learn it, don't expect more from gambling, use gambling games just for your entertainment, do it when you want, not to win, my first experience when I first experienced a loss was that it made me curious and addicted but in the end I realized

The more failure in the gambling will make yoi learn more, once you had enough knowledge in the gambling. You can make many huge dollars in rhe short period of time. But the concentration in the game is very important. So the gambler can recover any loss in the same day or next day. Avoid the emotion to keep the play, the emotional game always leada to the loss of money completely.

Not all the time we can experience a huge return from the casino and we know how does it really frustrating imagine you lose your first game but it's part of it if you want to win better to seek a game that suitable with yours or let's say have a higher chance of winning I personally like playing with the sports and e-sports betting because I know the capability, odds of changes of the team to win the game unlike with the slot games and roulette always the house wins the game but of course they are the highest returns. Now it's up to you if you are willingly to risk high with huge return or small step at a time.

In my case, on my first day I had no idea how to analyze the games, the only thing that went through my head was that I should focus on betting on the big teams when they played against weak teams, I thought that by doing that I would not lose. But right away on my first bet I lost and I was very sad because when I placed the bet I was very confident that I would win. After I saw that I lost, I did not accept it and I made another bet in which I was again very confident that this time I would be right. But I lost again and I was very sad. That is why I kept betting to recover my losses, but I lost again many times until my balance was small and I decided to bet everything and this time I did not have any high expectations, but I was right and stopped playing for a long time.

Something that often happens at the beginning of gambling, a gambler will say "it's better to use money for more important needs than gambling" (when experiencing loss).
But will say "I think gambling really helps me to get extra money" (condition when getting lucky or winning in the first gamble)
Conditions like this have often happened and occur when disappointment comes regretting the money that has been lost. Even though we forget that we have to gamble using money that we can afford to lose and avoid such disappointment.
Euphoria when you’re winning and regret when you lose are just some of the emotions that usually come with gambling. In situations like this, the line of our emotions can easily distract us from the fact that you cannot predict the outcome of gambling. It is this which makes the self aware of finances when deciding to gamble. Before we start the activities related to this, we will set clear boundaries which will clean balance and shall not be disappointed when the activities fail.

Instead of hoping for us to get lucky, what’s better for us is to focus on other ways we can manage finances in a more stable and sustainable way. This activity can be more game without involving money involved for primary life necessities. This allows us to play the game without the pressure applied to us, and we have the power over our financial condition at the same time.

Disappointed for sure - I was full sure I made the correct decision for my bet.
I was looking forward to collecting my winnings, I had the amount I would win calculated
and knew how I would spend the winnings... but my bet lost!

And the second one lost too when I was chasing the losses.

I quickly realised that I should treat gambling as a bit of entertainment and
not to try and make money on! I realised after a while that there were probably
people who were making money but I wasnt going to be one of them

I don't know if i ever wanted to make money on the first day of my attempt to gamble, since everything was orchestrated by my friend as at then, but everything was to the fact that am very eager to gamble, then we had the opportunity of doing that together and at the end, everything turned a loss with the copy betting in which i did together with him, we both lose, but the desperation to do more and continue begin to come in that i could actually seize more opportunities in gambling for me to be able to win maybe more subsequently, then i keep on trying till i become used to it, after losing the bet on the first day.

Nothing. It's not much and maybe that is why I didn't even felt a thing.
The same goes for me, I didn't feel that much as well. It's nothing at all. There is nothing special with the first ever lose that I've got and I think that most of us didn't have something special with that as well. What else? do we still remember that? I guess that many of us don't even remember that moment anymore.  Tongue

I'm frustrated and want to learn to beat the house because I felt dumb for losing.

I did learn about the games I played, it improve me to be better and increase the chance to win, but it's still not enough to beat the house. After many years I have learn if gambling is only for fun, so I'm not going hard to myself anymore.

If I want to make more money, I should build my career or start a business, not gambling.

For almost everyone that I've encountered and come across, the first loss experience clearly seems similar and related to each other. The first loss is literally not bad,it's just a medium to try new options and improve. The ideas that you listed out the first time sets out a mark for different observations and regardless, it's only few that recognizes them and tries to pickup. The first gambling attempt can be fun too.

I could remember those periods I started gambling for the first time I didn't expend an amount that was close to anything I could care much for and that made me had no hard feelings with each losses I had at different intervals.

I think I have been able to keep to that culture till date and it's been helpful in making me maintain a balanced healthy gambling lifestyle.  Perhaps for some persons who are struggling with bad gambling lifestyle today it could be as a result of how they started off from the very beginning.

Nothing. It's not much and maybe that is why I didn't even felt a thing. Also, most of what happened when I was starting was winning. It must be beginner's luck and I did somehow withdraw some money out of a small investment and made good profits.
But when it regards to losing, when I became a VIP, that's when I kept on losing and I can tell how a person can get so angry when he loses a huge chunk of his wallet. It doesn't need to be the first time, most gamblers will be in that position to be frustrated with the results of the bet.

In fact healthy gambling is always good, it's great that your first loss doesn't affect you too much. We should always remember that winning and losing are part of the game, sometimes we win and sometimes we lose so that others can win. This problem will arise when you do not want to follow this rule.

It's great to hear that you've been able to counter how gambling affects your behavior. If we are able to counter this early on, it is very helpful to develop a healthy gambling habit; We should never chase after losing. Accept defeat and refresh your mind and play again. By the way my curious mind wants to know have you really discover any tricks to realize your mindset when those losing streak happen? Smiley

For everyone, their first loss in gambling leaves a remarkable mark in their minds. I know it's disheartening when you lose money on your first gamble because new players learn many things and enter the field of gambling with great hope, but suddenly face a loss. This makes it very difficult for them to continue their gambling journey. The first loss teaches us important lessons about risk management, emotional control, and many other factors that are necessary in gambling. I have also faced a lot of losses in gambling, and I learned that when you lose one or two of your bets at the same time, you should avoid gambling for the rest of the day. This is because the pressure to recover your previous losses can lead you to lose all your money. So be careful, don't rush into it. Just avoid further losses and identify the mistakes that led to your gambling losses.

I started gambling only for fun hence why I never had the intention to gamble and buy something of need. I wasn’t expecting for me to win any significant amount of money enough for me to buy something valuable. Maybe it also has something to do with the fact that I only gambled a little bit amount of money and so I wasn’t expecting anything big to come out of it.

Before I lost, I won first. It was exhilarating and exciting and made me want to keep going. So, I did and I eventually lost. I only had deposited a small amount so it wasn’t such a life changing moment even if I lost. It was disappointing but ultimately I was able to let go of it because my expectations weren’t that high to start with.

Experience is indeed the antidote for bad feelings from gambling loses and for that the way we felt when we first started out in gambling is way very different from the way we will feel from loses when we alreayade experiences in gambling, so with knowledge comes peace of mind in the time of loses, but first and foremost first loses hit harder thanea time bombs because we haven't experienced such thing before.

Some newbie gamblers may be lucky to have gained experience from reading or observing those around them, but even at that, no one experience can be like your own personal experience so it will still hurt alot when we experienced our first losses.

My first "major" loss was in Bustabit's crash game. It was a few years ago, and I was completely pissed off. I had accumulated a decent balance after a few games and lost when I decided to start risking for larger multipliers. It wasn't a large sum of money, but it ended my interest in the platform altogether. I recently started being involved in casinos and sports betting. I've certainly lost a few times, but it was something I was anticipating when I started; you can't always win. I'm now accustomed to the idea of losing; it's always a possibility and a risk we're willingly taking on every single game or bet we're placing.

Honestly, I don't remember at all when I started betting and when I got my first loss and win. But as far as I feel, it seems like I personally just act normally even though I always feel disappointed when I lose. But after all, betting is also my personal choice and there is no compulsion to do it, so when I experience a loss, I can only be silent and disappointed because the efforts I make still do not give good results. But the point is, I never feel deep sadness and frustration because I lose in betting, because basically it is a common thing that happens in anything.

There is not a lot of emotions on my first lose. I was a beginner and there's no heavy feelings yet at that time so I don't feel much at all. We all are different in that aspect but many of us won't really feel bad upon losing. But the second, third time around or even more makes us feel more painful when we lose because we've already lost at the beginning and having more of it is totally going to be unaccepted for us. And even if we can't accept, that's the reality and losing is part of gambling, newbies and not.

So, how did you guys felt on your first lose?

My first gambling experience was very disappointing. Somebody has just told me and my coworkers that he had access to an insider who gave him bets about some fixed games. He assured us that if we gave him some amount he would give us the numbers. We stupidly paid him a collected the games. I was expecting to win big which made me use my entire feeding money for the week to stake the game. It turned out to be a scam and I lost my money. It was an unforgettable experience because I had to suffer from hunger and rely on the support of my coworkers to survive for a whole week.

Loss is never supposed to be a good feeling for people. And that is exactly the case with me.
When I first started gambling, I heard about a friend of mine's experience of winning bets. He won by gambling and came to describe it to us. In that case, I also went to gamble and made a deposit, although the deposit funds were low, I still lost them with just one bet. And another reason for that was that I still didn't know much about fully betting. And the feeling was totally bad but after that exploring some info's I came to this decision I have to accept the losses and play for fun what I can afford to lose.

The worst thing was that I gambled with contributions Money for the first time and I lost everything as an undergraduate then, that loss hit me dip and it took me a long to recover from the shock because I never thought that I would lose 100% of my money and to say I was confident in the game's because it was given out as a sure bet, and we even subscribed to get the bet tickets, this was a double calamity for me since I was scammed to believe in sure games and even paid to get those games and at the end, I lost everything.

This incident made me take a long break from gambling and even at some level hard to properly learn about gambling before coming back to it again because I need all the information that can sustain me through a d with that knowledge, I understand that gambling is all about win and lose so my ability to guide myself around that reality is my utmost responsibility now.
When you are in verge of desperation specially on making money due on being jobless or lack of opportunity on seeing some source of income then you will really be that likely be ending up on having this kind of thinking that gambling will really be that suits out into this kind of situation but in the end on which on the moment that reality would slap into your face then you will really be making up those realizations that it cant be possible. Gambling is really just that for fun and not for making money. This sounds pretty basic but actually it will really be that hard to apply on the moment that you do play gambling.
First loss could neither be giving out that kind of impulsive feeling on which it will really be leading out into desperation. Losing in gambling is really just that part and if you are someone whose really that
not good when it comes on handling your emotions then it might really be that leading into further impulsive deposits. We are just humans and we do really hate up on losing money and thats why on the moment
that you will really be dealing up with gambling then expect that there would really be those loses that you will really be able to encounter along the way on which this is normal.
Gambling is really just that for fun and if you do seek profit with it then you are prone into those bad decisions.

So, how did you guys felt on your first lose?

My first lose in gambling was not really that painful for me because it was the first day I had attempted to gamble and it didn't turn out well. As a result, it took me a lot of time to want to give it a trial again. I guess getting involved at that time was not the best for me.

I don't remember what I felt but probably sad and having regrets(which is a very common emotion to have when someone loses in gambling), also I know this makes no sense but I was probably thinking that I should have put my bet on the winning result, I used to have thoughts like that in the early days of my gambling.

I understand that kind of feeling. I also experienced feelings of regrets for placing the wrong bets anytime and always wished I had done it a different way. It was always a case of I should have applied that and not this and I felt bitter in my subsequent failures unlike the first one.

The way you felt on your first day of gambling is exactly how I felt. I imagined what I would do if my bets turned out as I had predicted, but I was left feeling disappointed when my expectations didn’t materialize. This caused me to figure out a way to follow up on gambling.

However, these experiences are common for most gamblers at the beginning. Over time, they come to realize that they shouldn’t have high hopes for gambling, as it ultimately comes down to luck. You bet and lose some of your bets but keep in mind that the losing is way bigger than the winning.

To be honest first loss not hurt me. because firstly i never take gambling as a source of income. i just enjoy gambling and i know i have to accept loss. So I gamble with my full responsibility. Gambling is a lot of fun but many choose it as a source of income and it hurts them a lot when they lose gambling. Gambling has now become like any other common game, everyone from small children to adults gamble.  So, now gambling loss seems very normal to me

My first loss in gambling wasn't much of a disappointment, I knew a bit of how good enough that will save me from staking too much of my money because a few people around me had been on it and losing massively, lessons are learnt not always from experience. I have gambled in so many ways including directly and indirectly, while as a newbie in gambling it was more of a fun experience than what I do now, at this level I always get the finest urge not to lose but make profits instead.

I have played slots a few times and did not feel good after losing money, I did not lose a big sum, but I was not happy, which makes me to just imagine how those who have lost more money to gambling will feel. I guess it is a feeling that they get used to later, and it only hurts the most in the first time when you just lost. If there is any gambler that is finding it difficult getting used to the losses in gambling, then maybe gambling is not meant for them.

Yes that's quite true. First losses are actually quite painful especially when you've actually won a series of times especially consecutively and then boom you probably play a single game that takes say half at first and then you are like you decide to go all in and end up losing it all.
I think one of the mind blowing things is that before the huge losses, along the line you may have likely beat your chest and be like I've actually found a pattern that works with high probability of winning on this game shortly before your confidence is blown away by the losses.

I can’t really remember how I felt after my first loss, but as a newbie in gambling, how are you going to deposit and gamble with a huge amount of money on your first bet? That doesn’t really make sense to me. If you are starting anything, it should be with a little amount of money, the more you get to understand it, the more you keep on increasing the amount you are using, but how will you start gambling, and you will do it with a big amount of money? It’s totally wrong.

It’s just obvious that the person’s expectation was already so high, and people like this do easily get addicted to gambling. Maybe he decided to start gambling due to testimonies from people, and maybe he has been brainwashed that he will be winning easily if he starts gambling, and he decides to jump into it but doesn’t understand that things don’t work like that.

The first defeat is a result that seems more disappointing, but on the other hand I think it also depends on whether from the beginning you know and understand what and how gambling really is or not, if not at all then that means from the beginning you have the wrong perspective on gambling, most likely the disappointment after experiencing the defeat occurs because maybe you think that gambling will be able to give you a number of wins or you put unrealistic expectations on the activity. But I think most likely most gamblers come with the wrong mindset and perspective on gambling including myself which I was the same when experiencing defeat was quite disappointing, but one thing that if you are able to learn from experience and experience tells you about what and how gambling really is then defeat should no longer be something disappointing for you because it is clear that defeat will always be part of the game.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
The first time I lost gambling, for me it was normal because the beginning was just to try the game with a little money ready to lose, so this was not a big frustration, the first loss in gambling for me was normal.

But once experienced severe pressure where the beginning won in a row because of the belief that it would definitely win, then deposited a large amount of money in the hope of winning and from the winnings could be used for other purposes, the result became fatal because it lost, emotions became uncontrollable.

At that time I had a difficult time in the sense of irresponsibility in gambling and no discipline in money management for bankroll.

But now I can overcome it.

Mine was quite the opposite, my first gambling experience was a huge success, I never really expected it would turn out that way, that was in my first year in College, I was literally out of cash that day and was left with only a few bucks and my roommates came to me, telling me they bought a fixed game and assured me the game would be successful, honestly I knew nothing about gambling back then but I was willing to take the risk even after much dissuading from other of my classmates who knew a thing or two about the unpredictability of gambling, but I ignored them and gave out my last bucks to them, although I didn’t really expect much but fortunately for me, it was a huge success and I got over 20X the initial amount I gave them.

It was like easy money and that was what really attracted me to gambling and see the possibilities of easy profits in gambling, and trust me I paid dearly for that misconception  Grin but along the line I became wiser.

Human beings do loves money and there's no doubt with that, so it will really be just that a very common reaction that we would really be getting sad on the time or moment that we will really be losing up money
on the moment that we do play gambling or any other means or stuffs that you are really that dealing into. Whenever you are on a losing condition then this is where emotions will really be starting to wind up.
You will really be starting on molding up those kind of mindset that you do need to recover up those loses back via playing even further. If you are someone whose really that not good when it comes to emotion
handling then it is really that most likely you will come up with different actions or decisions to be made.

Feeling up will really be that something negative because just like on what have been said that we dont really like on losing money and thats why it will really be just that coming up with those
realizations at least on what we are dealing into. The important thing is that you shouldn't really be that making yourself impulsive at the time that you are losing. Decisions will really be made up
whether you would really be that accepting those loses and move on and continue on what you are doing as long you are in that limit in terms of bankroll management and dont tend to decide
on making up some more deposits then you are just fine.

The first loss is always a big lesson and many people have experienced their first loss and were in a state of shock and had I know kind of impression. The first loss will either make you feel like giving up or trying to make things right by continuing and not giving up so suddenly. It depends on the person that’s handling the loss that can tell more how they can hold on to such even in the future.

It’s a game of risk, and your first loss is an invitation to what you should be expecting at anytime as your continue to gamble. No risk without gain if you’re good at what you’re doing even though it happens to be a game of luck and not really a game of knowledge as some people may see it. Losses are inevitable, and the first loss impression is always an experience of what to expect later which may come bigger or lesser. The earlier you’re prepared for it the better.

So what was he expecting in the first place, or did he forget in gambling it's outcome is usually a 50/50 percent chance, for him to have wagered a huge sum of money he can't afford to lose on his first day of gambling. Because probably, this is literally a result of wrong or no orientation about what gambling stands for. Because I can vividly remember my days as a newbie, how I fell into many telegram fixed match scams, which I borrowed money, bought fixed match games, wagered with huge sum and ended up losing all, simply because I was naive and never had proper orientation. Hence, it's good as he learnt the hard way, experience is indeed a good teacher.

I don't know if anyone will feel happy after a loss! It's obviously a sad moment. I mean who would want to loose money?

I am thankful that I am able to control my gambling urges. So I am able to control my losses. That's why I have never seen a huge loss ever in my life from gambling. I just stop gambling if I start loosing money. I don't ever try to recover my lost money from gambling itself. Such kind of behaviour usually leads to more losses. So self control is the key here!

It is natural to have a little regret about the first loss in gambling. Although when I lost my first gamble, I was not very disappointed, but I thought that if I could have used my strategy correctly, I could have won there because i like sports betting. I usually bet with an amount of money that I would not have any problems if I lost. That is why I was not very excited about the first loss. I was most excited when I lost a big bet because I had a chance to win there but it did not happen finally. In many cases, the feeling of losing the first bet may be different. There are many gamblers who are very enthusiastic and set large amount on the first bet, which creates a big problem for them later.

I’m quite surprised that you all were able to recall exactly how you felt during your first lost in gambling - I can’t really recall everything and I’m not even sure if this is for the first time I lost or if it was just some random moment in my gambling history but I do remember being over confident in the game and made plans on how I’ll keep my analysis going so that I can increase the money to a larger amount but when it came out it wasn’t what I expected.

I know I’ve felt that way once in my life and it was a very long time so it’s most likely the first game I lost or a game I played very close to that period -  because my first game in gambling was a win and that boosted my confidence that I was a good analyst till I finally lost an amount that wasn’t supposed to be for gambling because I thought I would be able to double it.

Loosing to me is just like every other days that you try to make good out of your efforts and just as said when you loose keep trying and eventually one day you'll hit the actual spot of your labours but in gambling is definitely not same as this cause a first time loss would be like loosing something you've ever worked for and when I got my first loss it was normal to me.

I think everyone else thinks thesame too. Gambling lose can sometimes make a person think otherwise. When we win, we thought we could have staked higher to win a huge sum of money. Then when we lose we regret why we didn't use our fund for a better thing instead, Morover the gambling is try our luck. That is just human nature.

It is the first time losing that making some of the new gamblers to request their deposit back or cry in the casino hall. Some of them asked the cashier to pay them back their money. And mostly that comes from under age and women but for adult people, they feel that it is their loss so they walked away without any argument. And every first time gambler expect winning and it is that anxiety that causes chaos after losing. In my time, I was well prepared and aware that gambling is 50/50 so as I loss, I didn't take it serious and I look over it. Before someone should gamble, he needs to be aware on the consequences of gambling so that whatever that happens he will take it like that.

First cut is the deepest as some say and so was my first gambling loss. Seeing many people around me cashing out cool money from their sports bet was quite enviable. I had hesitated to play all along but when I made my first bet I knew it was going to be a win because there was an experienced sports bettor who was guiding me at that time and I was like copying his games. With all my expectations, I lost and it hurt very much. The money I lost wasn't the painful part, what hurt the most was I thought since I was literally copying the games of someone who I consider very experienced in sports betting, there was no way I could have lost.

The loss thought me a lot. I learnt that no matter how experienced a person is, losses are inevitable therefore never put your trust in them. I also learnt that sports betting is not my strong side particularly betting in the big leagues. I could easily predict the winner in local and continental games within my region but not the big leagues.

You'll be doing some mathematical calculations to check the variance between the first and second loss. This was my experience.

That's actually true but only for some persons, you know that we all react differently to certain situations. My first lose was so heart breaking but maybe it was not like that for everyone, example is your self. I actually wanted to stop gambling then.

The first loss, I shook it off. I was like, "Yeah, I've heard that with gambling, you win some, you lose some." So, I just went on and tried again. That was with sport betting.

Over time, if I placed, say, five bets and didn't win any, that's when it really started to get to me. But if I bet on five games and won at least two, or got something from three, I felt better. So, I try to shake off the first loss, what really gets to me is losing streaks.

It is true that one of the first feelings in gambling is anticipation. I didn't plan at that moment how I would spend the millions I won Smiley, but only imagined how the coveted multipliers would appear in the slots and my deposit in satoshi would multiply. Of course, I also gradually lost the entire deposit and after all there was the same feeling that I could have spent this money more wisely.

Despite the claim that beginners are lucky, this rule didn't work for me. Smiley You ask a strange question, the answer to which in this context is obvious. No gambler will claim that after his first loss he experienced joy and delight.

Winding down.
Way back then, I was definitely frustrated that time, because I was already expecting to get lucky and win, but I lose in the end. I regret wishing I never tried gambling with my allowance.

But if you really have passion in gambling, despite of your first losses, you will definitely gamble again trying to chase more of your luck and make good amount. But this time, I’m already cautious with my money, so I only bet my extra money. I just find myself getting entertained even if I lose my allowance, and had no regret that time.

I have talked about this before here. When I was a child there was a game that was played with some tokens, and a friend of mine gave me a lot of them. One afternoon I played against another child (two children but one of them only watched) and the loser was supposed to give the tokens lost to the winner. I don't know whether they cheated on me, but even if I had many more tokens than my opponent, he consistently won, and I lost 2/3 or 3/4 of my tokens, until I decided to stop.

The experience was very bitter at that age, and I think that it was a lesson for all my life. That's why, nowadays, I only gamble for fun, and an amount set on beforehand, and I don't chase my losses: what is lost is lost, accept it, learn from the experience and continue with your life could be my motto when it comes to gambling.

My first defeat was not too painful, because before the first defeat happened I had felt previous victories, and usually at the beginning of gambling people will be given victory many times and that's what I felt at that time. But over time when I gambled often, the defeats I got were more than the victories I got, and it was very painful, but I kept gambling because I felt like I couldn't accept experiencing continuous defeats which made me continue to gamble just to chase the defeat. And actually that kind of attitude will only make me lose more, but over time I realized even though it was too late at least I realized that gambling excessively is not good and must play with full awareness in order to have the ability to control yourself and also control your emotions so that you are aware to stop when you experience several defeats and also stop when you are in a winning position and turn into a responsible gambler.

The very first loss that a gambler will make is a reminder that gambling is not a bed of roses and something that there is always the assurance of profiting from. Losing from gambling is a reminder that you could also lose a lot of money if you are careless and irresponsible about your gambling habits. It will be better for a new gambler to experience losses early in gambling, than having a series of win. A series of winning will make a new gambler over confident or to start becoming dependent on gambling as a way to raise money.

My first day of gambling was a mess to me because I run at big loss. The reason is because I lost my first game and I was scared of letting go of my loss, so I started gambling to win back my losse.Unfortunately, I lost all the funds on me that day and I didn't try to gamble anymore.

It was a bad experience, because the money wasn't mine but for my mom and when I got home, I had face to the wrath of my Dad for my actions.

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
First time gamblers would definitely felt the same way after a first loss, disappointed and sad, but as we go on gambling, we tend to be more open and accept the fact that losses are already part in gambling. If you don’t lose, you will never boost yourself to bet more not only to recover your losses, but also to chase bigger winning amount.

I lose quite significant amount first time I gamble, and even blame myself why I took the risk. But eventually, when I heard successful stories about gamblers, I started to get convinced again and try my luck. I did won that time, but lose again because I was more greedy that time thinking that if I bet once more, I’ll make more money. But reality hits me, gambling is a business, so they will lure you at first and when you get attracted, they will find its way on how to lose your money.

how did you guys felt on your first lose?

When I first got to know gambling, I probably lost more than I won. There was a feeling of despair and a feeling of wanting to run and never return to gambling. However, the feeling of wanting to stop was defeated by the curiosity to win a game with high results. Although until now I have never gotten a big jackpot, I still play regularly.

So, how did you guys felt on your first lose?
Definitely anyone that lost in gambling for the first time may not feel good. I won my first bets. It made me thought that betting will be easy. I increased the money to bet again in the next day. I lost the bet. I did not like that moment. But I decide to continue to bet and I lost more than I won. I have to stop wasting money on gambling as I know it is the opposite that was happening to me. This was a long time ago.

It took me some times to understand how gambling really work but lately I saw a young guy complaining on how he lost a lot of money on he first day of trying out gambling. It's reminded me of how I felt too back then. So, how did you guys felt on your first lose?

Not really bad for me as a first experience a string of winnings on my first day of losses before suffering my first loss, Losing is normal in gambling; only newbies feel that they are not supposed to lose or they are hurt to get losses.
Losses are something we must be aware of and something we should address to ourselves if we are involved in gambling, We should be playing money that we are comfortable of losing; this is the right mindset if we don't want to experience bad losses.

It's always a norm to feel bad when you lose in gambling but whene it comes to your first gamble and you loss it's one big feelings of disappointment that comes in because you were never acquainted with the basic knowledge of gambling that's why you feel bad you perhaps we risk the little we have trying to double it during our first attempt.

If we knew what it takes to gamble then we wouldn't ever be so depressed and disappointed during our first attempt, I believe we go all in thinking we can achieve much greater profit with just our first attempt.

Conclusively I think feeling bad makes you want to know why you lost and what's gambling about.

The first loss in gambling happened in Dice, and the platform I used was directbet.eu, which isn't in existence anymore. The bet was just $2, and the first bet of mine in Sportsbet was on tennis. The bet value was $5, and I won the bet. Slowly my interest increased in sports betting, and gradually I started to make more and more. At some point I was able to bet as high as $300, and I had 2.5BTC in my wallet. Beyond a certain point, my bets didn't bring me success, and lost everything and went beyond my limits.

My first experience gambling was on sport bet and luckily and surprisingly I won my first ever bet, I will say I made sure I played very safe. I was thrilled by the winning and if I had lost that first time I may have not gone back to it. The euphoria of my winning gingered me to play more, I lot my next bet but I did not feel to bad because I was very close to winning so since then I have continued.

So I can say my first lost in gambling did not feel to bad because I was coming from the joy of winning my first game so the first lose didn't not affect me negatively and I did not think much of it and just moved on quickly looking for my next win.

Lol your situation of making it and how you spending got me.
My first went well but everything started spiralling out of control around the second or third of I'm not mistaken.
I was disappointed and angry at the bet that spoilt my slip and to prevent further loss
Had to sell the account
Since been a new account I enjoyed their deposit bonus and been conservative
I didnt place huge amounts
Except on my first loss
The subsequent ones were lower
Looking back everything stemmed from me been Greedy and too sure of my knowledge.

Your scenario is quite similar to mine because as I could clearly recount, my first experience was same way with the expectation until I tried to sleep but couldn't because the games were still on. I haven't even sleep so deep before waking up to check the games I placed a bet on. Well, I lost with several games just minutes into the game and was so devastated that I didn't place any bet or even bother to visit the betting house for a long time.
It was until the emergence of online gambling and the fact that almost every male friend I had placed a bet and shared the code, that I started gambling again.
Still, that first time experience always tells a very story of how one is and shows how one has matured emotionally.

I feel really bad because when I first learned how to gamble, I experienced beginner’s luck. I was still young back then and not mature enough to think about the risks. I thought winning in gambling was easy because every time I saw people win, they’d say, “easy money.”

So, when I experienced my first loss, I got really emotional and ended up losing all the money in my wallet. Being young without a stable source of income, it hit me hard. I tried to learn from that experience, but unfortunately, I made the same mistakes again. I became too aggressive and kept falling into the same trap.

Now.. I am proude to say that I’m a more mature gambler, but it took me a long time to become responsible. I’ve gone through many losses, including heartbreaking ones, but I’m thankful I survived. These days, I still enjoy gambling, but I no longer feel stressed after a loss.

I was sad to be honest because I was too young and lost relatively too much money playing slots for the money I had at the time. Luckily I became a responsible gambler over time and have never had that feeling again. Nowadays what I lose in gambling doesn't affect me emotionally because I can afford to lose and I never go over the budget.
