I was compelled to enter the community under the consequences that led me too. but now I am happy with it

I learn bitcoin/blockchain because of work. My boss asks me to do somethings for him

My mate invited me in a couple of times throughout the years and I finally gave in last year.
It's great to have someone knowledgeable that can present it to you gradually.
So first I just bought bit and bit of btc, but then also started to explore it as a art motif.

Initially I entered the bitcoin in ajarin by my uncle, my uncle said if we really really work in bitcoin will be successful.

My boyfriend introduced me to bitcoin. Since this is a great opportunity, I grab the chance and now I am trying my best to learn more about bitcoin.

My friend asked me to try, too. I am interested in the newest technologies, so made a research and as a result, I liked bitcoin a lot

A good family friend told me about it but it was a close cousin of mine
that influenced me to take part. It was through a lot of talks and when
I finally saw the point of it all, I wanted to be in it. All thanks to him.

Year back I remember it was year 2012 I've heard it. But I didn't focus it. And now last year 2017 when the bitcoin was boom my brother brag about it that there's a huge potential to earn money.

I kinda learnt about bitcoin from my friends who were talking would meet  One day I just said to myself okay, gotta learn that too.

Me too my friend told me about it.She taught me everything about it what is bitcoin all about and how to earn in this forum.Thanks to her i was involved in this community and i had a chance to earn btc in the future.

My classmates have been bragging about it and one of them told me to give it a try. I'm still trying to get a hang of it and my friends help me whenever I seem lost here.
A lot of my friends are also into bitcoin so I guess they kinda influenced me on this.

Decided to try in 2015.

I told my friend, it turns out he has a year longer to know about bitcoin

My friend told me that try bitcoin and I try! Bitcoin is a game changer for me and I learn a lot with bitcoin!

My relatives,friends and the standby in my place told me about it,and at first i did not believe them but they told me that they are earning money from it and that time i decided to join also.

I was told a number of times by my friend to join the community of btcs but i didnt do it because i hate btcs and dont have faith on them

I discover bitcoin through social medias like facebook i saw lots of advertisements and then i get interested so i search about bitcoin on how to earn bitcoins then i found this forum.

I heard about it in college back in 2011 and almost bought some then, but was afraid of losing my $10 so put my CC back in my wallet and closed my browser.   I was in grad school this past year and looked up bitcoin before it hit $1000 and saw that litecoin and ethereum were like $10 and $5 or something during my stock trading class and went gosh.  I could've made money if I had bought in.  Closed the browser.  In october, I just said, screw it.  I'm going to buy in even if I lose money.   So I did.  And I made money buying and selling and now have cryptocurrency left over after cashing out what I put it.

  If I had held onto those $1 bitcoins I was gonna buy,  it would've right now still been worth close to my house.   If I had bought litecoin and ethereum in april the way I was going to,  I would've had about 20-30k.   As it stands, I made money, no where near those other figures, but it does feel good to do that.   

Now though,  I also bought some mining equipment.   I'm done trading, it takes too much of your time.  I'd rather mine and then trade for the coins I want that have longer term value.

I also read satoshi's whitepaper and started going through his links.   I would highly recommend anyone who is in this realm to do so.   I also plan on trying to figure out how to code my own blockchain.  If I am going to invest any more in this, I want to know it in and out.

I used to be taught my friend how to enter in the world of bitcoint.first I must have an email address already registered. then I created an account in bitcointalk. click the register menu on the bitcointalk tab. then fill out the form. the form includes the account name, email address, password, and more. make sure you fill it correctly so your submission is accepted. the last one you should follow google recaptha step.

Well, how I got into bitcoin coin was through a friend, creepy though.. I always saw him surfing through his phone and smiling, and the next minute he screams "I am making money"... And that was it! Then, I began to wonder how the money rolled in. I had to plead with him to show me the way, how to make this money . He did, but I had to promise him that I won't let anyone know. So he told me about it, and I was impressed, then I made some investments, and boom! I was rich. It has actually been very great and profitable getting into bitcoin.

I was introduced to steemit by a close friend who was doing well with crypto trading and I got the bug and started trading soon after. That was just after Christmas last year. So I've made a nice loss on the original investment but I only had a pittance to invest, if the market rebounds I could make it back, if not I can alway cry over the DeepOnions I just bought for a song.

I used bitcoin to receive cash as final. I was selling services online. But I never bought bitcoin just to have bitcoin, but as a way to obtain the cash.

I did this when it was around 200$ or $300. Then, I went a little broke, but I started seeing potential. At $500, I asked my family to give me $1000 so I can buy bitcoins. Of course, they called it the bubble...

... I remind them of this moment every single day.

Me too! Now, I'm starting to get addicted to this because I am learning a lot through reading threads.

It is because of my friends who are Bitcoiners. They taught me this because Bitcoin is truly a life changer.

Now everyone is talking about cryptocurrency, I decided to understand and find out for myself something new , as I would like to try to participate in Bounty and learn a new kind of earnings such as investing in cryptocurrency.

I got into Bitcoin through Ethereum 

The thought I had about Bitcoin was that it was very limited, all you could do with it was to transfer value from A to B. Once Ethereum came with their dApps then it clicked with me that there was much more potential in the blockchain than I thought at first.

a friend from dubai told me about it.  he was into it, as a sideline from his work there and i remember he was talking about the technical stuff and all.  so i researched about it myself and got interested and so I made my first step of investing in 2015.

My co worker once introduced bitcoin to me but I have less interest before due to work. And we came across again to a gc group and told me hes gonna buy a house with a money coming from bitcoin or cryptocurrency. He now got a million.

I first got into bitcoin because of curiosity , when i saw my friend doing such thing in his smartphone and i ask what is he doing and he said that he is making some money through the internet and through the bitcoin. That is when i got interested to it and started to learn on how can i also make money in the internet legally.

I was looking for ways to invest or store my money outside of a bank. I hope in the near future we will be able to completely live outside of the banking system (as for today, you must have a bank account, to get paid from your employer from example).

I had the luck to have a friend who had the knowledge and patient to teach me, he helped me setting up my wallet and told me all sorts of things... Including how late I was and how horrible my machine was to mine. 

In 2014 I was looking for part time online work and found announcement here on bitcointalk. After I did this job, employee paid me with bitcoin. And after some days my USD equivalent was increased because of BTC price growing. And I understood that bitcoin is VERY good thing for making money.

I was very early and late to the party. I was given 120 BTC back in 2013 for a job I did. Sold them a month later. Kept my eye on the scene, but never really saw the entire picture. An article caught my attention August 2017 and I've been obsessed since.

When Stellar Lumens started back to 2014 at this time it was just called STELLAR

I was looking to buy something on the darknet because my regular guy wasn't around anymore. When I got there I noticed things being sold for something called BTC. happy to know about bitcoin now

My friend told me a few times. But both of us were just scepticall to go deeper. Then about half year from that point we was looking at it again and this time we really give it a try so i think ,from this distance, we made a good decision.

My cousin has been pushing bitcoin to me since it started when it was just few cents in price. Sice it was something new i never gave an ear to him. I have long been interested in cryptocurrency , but could not dare to invest, a year ago I bought bitcoin and Ethereum , now I invest in new cryptocurrencies and learn trading.

I entered bitcoin from my friend then taught how to play bitcoin.

Me: My friend was bragging about getting into crypto around Christmas time; he brought up a bunch of the graphs on his laptop and we sat and had a few beers and he introduced me. Later I took a course on udemy and then bought my first coin right before it all came into a correction.
