I think we have the same experience. I have never been exposed to forex or stocks trading though. When i got into cryptocurrency me and my friends opened our accounts in Bittrex and that is where we did some buying and selling of coins and tokens until the market tanked and I got some coins trapped in value (planning to cut loss soon). I saw many traders here in this forum who are really doing well but I understand that this is not for everybody and what one accomplished can never be copied by another.

to make profit with trading, it is necessary to have the right skills in trading, including a thorough knowledge of the reference market.
So, to make profit with the Crypto it is necessary to know this world.
Initially, to make experience with small amounts , and then gradually increase investments

As per experience. Me personally got no idea how this trading works, I have heard of stock market and forex but never got a chance to know those kind of stuff. I got my first token on an airdrop which I have traded based on the youtube video I saw. Later on, as I progress, I get airdrop tokens that makes me interested in trading and have helped me to loss a lot of money in no time. Don't get me wrong, I lose a lot of money because of dumping great tokens for just after a month. I have dumped because of my emotions, dumped because of the people around me, dumped because of the fake news that was disseminated by other members of the community which that token belongs to let them buy more for their personal profits. I suggest you to read articles of a trusted crypto enthusiast/expert then stick with what his words would mean to you. On that way there would be no false information because on my personal experience, having too many source of information would lead to confusion. I never trading on FOREX markets before cause I feel like it's scam and nobody can earn money from FOREX Smiley. I started trading crypto by finding out crypto has different price on exchanges then I buy at the exchange has lower sell price then withdraw and sell it on the exchange has higher buy price than sell price of the other exchange. But it's really hard to find out any crypto like that at the moment so I've stopped trading like that and change to holding good potential crypto Smiley)

I did not have the experience of trading on Forex. Therefore I started from zero. I read a lot here on the forum. I could read telegram chats. I started trading after learning from a familiar trader.

Trading in Forex is so risky for me, I've tried their demo and found out that trading real currencies is so hard to predict than trading cryptocurrencies, that is why I gave up my dreams to make millions of dollars on Forex, I'm just trading cryptocurrencies on exchangers and joining bounties to earn tokens, which is a good way also on how to make good money.

I started in trading because I got curious how the forex trading works, but I was hesitant at first because you have to spend at least $100 to start your trading and I don't have that amount of money at that time for trading. So when I read about trading with cryptocurrencies, I started out with just $15 to try it out at Poloniex and the rest is history.

I was initially interested I precious metals.  Then I watched a YouTube video on precious metals versus cryptocurrencies.  That opened my eyes to the crypto market, and I started to learn and trade. I have learned a lot from being in this space.  For the most part, I'm excited about Blockchain technology going mainstream and changing the world.  In the coming year, we will see an increasing number of uses for blockchain, and exciting projects will enter the crypto market.  We're watching history in the making.

Well, it is a slight difference between the crypto trading and a traditional forex or fiat trading.
In fiat, every news from the country where the fiat is originated can affect the price of the currency itself. But for crypto, a single FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) news can "possibly" make the chart go up or down. Why I quote the "possibly" word is because there is no exact news that can affect the price volatility. So, it's better to hodl a bit more and sell it when you need the most.

For me, this forum news is a good resource on when to buy or sell. And consider joining a telegram group where they discuss crypto is not a bad idea. My first trade is on Etherdelta.

I started trading with no prior experience in stock or forex. I joined crpto with the help of a friend and learned most of the basics through a group then i picked it up from there. Lot's of mistakes were involved and lots of losing but each mistake makes me to take a correction. I believe it's all about determination.

I hope that you can start trading you need to learn a lot before stepping into the field. We can see the market in recent days is constantly changing and extremely complex, so to successfully trade you need to consolidate the information and experience market analysis. You need to follow the people who are experienced in this field and learn from them.

I started in binary options because I can see a lot of advertisements from them before. I was hook up and decided to invest a little to try it. I use martingale strategy and end up losing around $5k after a few months. I got frustrated and decided to learn trading more and then an advertisement about bitcoin appeared. I decided to watch it and convinced to invest. I research further and learned that there are other coins out there not just bitcoin and amazed I can trade with it. I can trade with small capital and I started trading cryptocurrency.

The most helpful resource that I found is from babypips.com. I started reading it when I decided to trade binary options but is has been a big help for me when I started to learn cryptocurrency. Following some traders in youtube as well is a big help because I will know their opinion about the  market and the strategy that they use.

There are many education and trading strategy in youtube and article /blog in the internet. First when i jump in to forex trading and  i was learn it by self from youtube video, with continue to learn it and finally i understand how to start trading. So actually not difficult to learn trading strategy by self if we are patient on that, but more difficult thing is how to control the emotion and the psikology of trading.

I was just an avid lurker on the Wall Observer thread before it was filled with constant spamming from bears and bulls. The charts being posted in there everyday seemed to be an unsolvable puzzle for me, but I was fascinated on how these freaks on the internet make money by buying and selling bitcoins over and over, every, single day. So I tried what they're doing and lost a few dollars, until I come up to a conclusion that trading isn't really for me. After stopping for quite a while, I checked up the now-defunct Mintpal for Blackcoin since I remember I still have some staked in my wallet back in 2015. So I tried to send it, and amazingly my timing was good since it was the time when people wanted to pump blackcoin from 9000 satoshis to 21 thousand. After that I always thought that it'd be the same thing until I started studying graphs and charts posted in tradingview. Up to now I'm still trading, albeit only with small amounts. But the good thing is I'm still profiting even with 5-12% every week.

Out of confusion and eagerness to learned.

Once you involved in crypto, it's unusual that you will not try how trading works and what the hell is that all about? Why people got decent profit out from trading?
While lurking here in forum, you will see lots of users having a nice experience and able to build good winning stats out of trading. You will think now, if they can, maybe you can too. And that's the start of "THE PROCESS".

For a start, spend time to learn some basics then later on try the actual trade. While on they way, believed me, you will automatically soon learned other trading terms. Build experience as that will make you a good and better trader someday.

I work on crypto and forex marker. My trading could be a little different. I originally divide my capital in to three categories and trade it-
1. Trade with a fixed price. For example, 1500$ is my capital, the profit would be 1500$,  otherwise  the losses would be 1500$.
2. Turn off the trade with 30% profit on a specified capital.
3. We have small trade. For example: Forex marker at 5m to 15m.

You have simple strategy and as long still get profit you should continue with big money. Never too sure and always follow ( copy cat ) others way, you have to find your own way. Actually, helpful resources is anything ( forum, group, web, blog, etc ) that give you knowledge about crypto trade but for real experience you need practice on the real market with real money. My first trade in bittrex and hitbtc and I think those are still the best, even sometimes they get delay and difficult new rules.

before I never do forex trading because many of my friends advise me not to get involved in it. if you are a beginner you just do your initial research in some coin that you think is good, you should use funds that are not too big to avoid big losses .when you have joined the trade slowly you will understand how good and profitable trades or you can find some information in some articles and videos about trading.

After making 230 dollars selling the free sexcoins I got raining the sexcoin faucet on cryptsy exchange, that is what kinda got me into crypto in a more serious way and that is what made me do my very first trade. I will never forget that, I thought wow I made 220 bucks out of thin air lol and I felt so proud of myself at that time. I have gone on to do a little better, but I could have done ten times better if I had held, sold or bought certain coins at the right time.  Grin

I learned the basics in stock trading and stayed for over 2 years.. When I found out that forex and crypto trading is very much similar, I decided to give them a try and found that cryptos trading is very much similar, although with higher potential gains.

Stock trading was my starting point as well.. Now that I have tried trading crypto, I find stock movements really200x slow...

Some people I know who are into crypto trading had previous experience in stock exchange and FOREX markets.

I had no experience whatsoever, i learn't about bitcoin on my cybersecurity lessons in college. Started to be interested in crypto in general and after searching for some weeks, i opened my first account on bittrex. I was trading a bit at random since it was my first time at it, i think that it's obvious that i lost almost all the first trades haha

Which were the most helpful resources you found? It can be a BTT thread or blog.

Usually i go with youtube videos, and i watch as many as i can on the same subject, for example, watching 5+ videos explaining and showing the use of RSI

Where did you first trade?

As i stated above, Bittrex ^^

In order to trade you need a source of information. There are a lot of them on facebook and Twitter, Bitcointalk, Telegram, different sites about cryptocurrency.Choose something for yourself and use it.And various analyzes do not come true for me.

That is the problem. There are so much information over the internet but difficult to digest and take a right decision and on right time because in trading if you miss the time then you will miss the chance to make money from your trade.

I'm most of the time investor but only sometimes if I know that some coins going to announce news and If I see coin prices still reasonable then I will buy those coins to sell on the news day means a short-term trade but not a day trading.

After entering the crypto world first one year I didn't do any trading but only buy and keep good coins. Only after that, I started slowly sometimes trading for quick profits.

Being new in trading, i can say that this is not too complicated because you only do is buying and selling coin but you need to do more research for the coins you wanted to purchase to make sure you will choose the good coin and has possibility to increase its value.
My advantage is i am enrolling in one premium signal group in telegram to guide me in trading and they gives coins to buy and time frame of selling those coins. I think this is the good thing to do if you are newbie by joining some signal group.

I have no real life trading experience but what pushed me to jump into trading is curiosity and since I don't like to join signature campaigns but I want to earn Bitcoins, I thought trading would be a good alternative in earning Bitcoins which is kinda true, but its very risky because one negative news about Bitcoin can have a huge impact to the price.

Some people I know who are into crypto trading had previous experience in stock exchange and FOREX markets. Though I have mutual funds and select stocks, I never got around to trading. With crypto exchanges, I've only bought or sold. I'm curious how newbies and the "uninitiated" got started in trading and playing the dips, lows, and swings.
