I do not know if you are a Nigerian or not but I will try to explain it to you the little way I can and I hope you will understand it. The northern part of Nigeria has held power for a longer period than the other parts of the country. The north is made up of the Hausas while the west is Yoruba and the east is Igbo. There is alot of tribalism and ethnic styled governance with the north on political appointments, infrastructure, road construction etc. This tribalism is worst under the present government headed by President Mohammadu Buhari. This has caused the other parts of the country that is not the north to cry out that they are marginalized. They want to break out of Nigeria so they can have their own separate nations and be on their own.

Corruption and atrocities that are being carried out in Nigeria is getting the the hedge of being an explosion. If change has to occur, then many of the leaders would to pay with there lives cause for change to occur revolution has to be a prerequisite. People are suffering and the government had nothing to offer to them which is a sign of maximum sign of I don't care. Maybe the youths have to do something to get there freedom.

Well, why not? There was a time when there were no Irish. Now there are happy Irish all over the place from their "Happy-Irish Independence" start.

First, we voted this people in in the first place, they are like employees to the country, they volunteered to serve the country and we gave the opportunity to.
We as a people still have the power to turn things around, we have the power to remove who so ever is not performing as expected, just the same way a CEO or manager of a company sacks a worker or an employee who isn't carrying out his or her duty as expected.
But then, one problem we have is fear and courage, who is that man that can come out and ask others to follow him?,

But to solve this menace that currently threatens the peace of Nigeria, we have to go back to the grass root and start from there, we need a total reform in our electoral system, a revolution, a total overhaul of the electoral board, we need to change the way office holders are being elected.

Secondly, we need a total reboot in the payment structure of office holders, we have made political services in Nigeria so juicy in terms of money that this guys are ready to do what ever it takes for them to sit on that chair, they spend unnecessarily, kill, maim, steal, make fake promises, go into all sort of diabolical stuff just to make sure they win an election, and ones they win, they start looting the country in a bid to recover all they've spent during the election campaign.

This is one of the major problems we have, if we can make those political offices less valuable in terms of money, like slashing their salaries to the barest minimum, make the offices less monetary, then and only then, are we going to start having true servers/leaders in the country.

People are not poor because they are unintelligent as well as rich because they are intelligent. I have come across rich but stupid fellows too just the same way I have come across poor but intelligent fellows. Yes I know it will not be possible for Nigeria to start over again, because the north that holds power in Nigeria will not allow the other parts break up from Nigeria no matter how desperate they want it. The government must take the right steps to make a country a happy independent country. Corruption must be reduced and the influence of political leaders must be reduced today’s youth are usually the future of the future young people can do anything they want of the development of the image in the international market as an independent country, the increase in foreign direct investment in a country creates opportunities for employment. The issue of internal good governance and stability of the country is very important which has been with us for almost a decade now.

The youth, the younger generation are the one who can change a country if only they can come together and unite themselves and make a good decision for them not to be used by greedy politians , what politians does is to offer the youths peanut during elections to buy their minds. The youth have power they can change a government if they stop receiving peanut from politians knowing that most politians are fighting for their selfish interest.

You just can't liberate a country when its traditions are rooted well for thousands of years. Just like Afghanistan, they were liberated by the US to live like how Americans would do with democracy but it's just not what they are used to. British colonization won't make Nigerians think the way a British would think.

Only China did it by unifying the three kingdoms which took a lot of killings because of tribes battling every tribe they want to conquer just to unify them all.

It ain't gonna work in Nigeria. The poor, rather unintelligent people, want somebody to rule over them. All the shrewd business people, great and small, want to be the rulers. The wealthy shrewd ones will keep on ruling.

You can tolerate what you hate as a person,I think what needs to be done is a total revolution,the government have been bad no doubts,not bad feelings for the citizens of the country...not even the basis Ned of the society have been done nor attended.

Nigeria isn't doing great as a country and we want this to change, that's the truth about what many of her citizens want but the minority are just not wanting this and they seem to be winning. If Nigeria becomes better we all stand a chance to enjoy a normal life. Imagining not having to pray/beg for there to be water, light and food etc. Well majority of you can't imagine that because that has never been a problem from the side of the world you're from and that's a good thing (something we Nigerian envy for).

How do you change a government that doesn't have the interest of her county at heart, how do you switch off a country and start it all over so things can be done right this time. Vote out the government you'll say but have do you change the government when democracy isn't been practice in the country as thought by many. The government controls everything, nothing is independent over here.

Protest you may say as our voice would be held that way, well it seem you didn't hear of the massacre that happened the last time we tried something like that; EndSARs: The movement for police reformed as a result of police brutality in NiG. What can we do to start over, you can see the people have interest in this but don't know how to achieve that without having to scarified ourselves in the process, How do we start all over.
