Hello, I've seen many people requiring an escrow..
So far from what I've observed escrows are middle men who keep the other party's barter
until the other one fulfills the deal.

I'd like to become an escrow some day but what are the requirements
and how long would it take to be a good escrow?

and if you can earn from escrow-ing?

Here is a list of escrow, if u r looking for one => https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcointalk-escrows-trade-safely-855778

Nice, I don't know there is finally an up-to-date list of escrow service providers. Thanks for sharing it.

I'm not looking for an escrow, but I'm interested in becoming one,
some day Smiley

Why are you interested in becoming an escrow one day? The majority of the time people who set out to want to be an escrow do it for all the wrong reasons. You need to become incredibly trusted over time and you do that by doing trades yourself and being an active member of the community. In my opinion the minimum rank you should be before offering such services is a Senior Member but even that only takes eight months to achieve so I'd say a Hero Member ideally, but you must also be very active and trusted with money and have done many successful trades too. You can make a little money from escrowing but it's usually only tiny amounts or for tips and there's plenty of free escrows who've been doing it a long time so not sure why people would pay to use a newer one. It's not really a viable business and is done more so to help the community and get the occasional tip for your service.

Oh I see.
Well, maybe I'll do it as a free service too one day, so I can help out with the scammer issues here.
Thanks for the feedback and advice guys! Appreciate it

Personally I think trust is a big part of becoming an escrow agent or service.  Trust in a sense both literal in this forum with positive VE+ trust, as well as, figurative in being in this community for a decent amount of time.

I think once you've reached Senior Member status or higher, dealt in many trades, purchases, or sold goods here and continue to be in positive trust standing in BitcoinTalk land, would be a big step into become an Escrow for BTC.
