Actually... instead of playing with old versions of software (with bugs and potential vulnerabilities)... you should just create the "disabled" 2fa wallet using latest Electrum... then just copy the wallet file created (In Electrum, "File -> Save Copy"), and then simply open the copy of the wallet file using latest Electron Cash. (In ElectronCash, "File -> Open")

ElectronCash should then be able to read the Electrum wallet file and allow you to spend the BCH

Uou can't use your private key in case your wallet had a 2fa on any electron version above 2.9.3
That's because a 2FA electrum wallet consists of 3 private keys
which you own only 2 out of the 3 keys, the 3rd key is controlled by TrustedCoin (Electrum's 2FA Service Provider).

It is good that you move your BTC to hardware wallet, now you can play with Electrum seed/private keys in an attempt to claim BitcoinCash.

It seems that you have a problem to claim BCH because your BTC Electrum wallet is 2FA type, and in order to claim new coin you need 3 private keys and you have only 2 of them, third is in the possession of the other party(TrustedCoin). It is usually a complicated process to claim any forked coin from 2FA wallet, but you can try something I find on Reddit and it seems pretty easy.

- First you need ElectronCash wallet,be careful and do not download fake one - https://electroncash.org/

- Second is to create new standard wallet in ElectronCash and save seed + one of the receiving address(Be especially careful with this, triple check!)

- Third step is to remove this version of ElectronCash, install new one and create new wallet by using seed from Electrum//in this process you need
to disable 2FA option //just create new standard wallet//I have seed//option disable 2FA.

- Fourth step is to send BCH to that previously created address, and use that seed to access your wallet.

I hope this will help you, otherwise the procedure will be much more complicated.

For option 2 you just created watch only wallet, and in option 3 balance is 0 because you do not have all all the necessary private keys.

Hi guys!
Today I decided to move all my funds on a KeepKey.
I succesfully moved all my bitcoins to it, and then I started googling how to get my Bitcoin Cash.

First of all, I can confirm that some of my BTC were stored before the fork:
https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/6d0192054857cabe8f434438addd0870d056f28b9dfeb1ac52fe44183cdabaf1

Now, I Downloaded the Electron Cash Portable 3.2, and tried all following:

1)
     - went to File and selected  New/Restore
     - selected standard Wallet
     - selected I already have a seed
     - pasted my seed, but the "next" button remains gray
I could check the BIP 39 SEED into the option modal, but it was a 2fa wallet so the checksum wouldn't  be correct

2)
     - went to File and selected  New/Restore
     - selected Import Bitcoin Cash Addressses or private keys
     - pasted all the addresses exported from the electrum 3.13 wallet
     - GREAT, my balance shows up, but i cannot spend it

3)
     - went to File and selected  New/Restore
     - selected Import Bitcoin Cash Addressses or private keys
     - pasted all the private keys exported from the electrum 3.13 wallet (same file above)
     - typed my password (twice obviously)
     - Balance 0. BCH

So, I need either a solution to verify the wallet obtained on the 2nd try, or figure out why there's 0 balance on 3rd try

Any suggestion, or workaround, or another solution? :|
