On Etherscan check for recent outgoing transactions. If they show as made in 2022 then you wallet was not emptied recently. Next changes the password of your MetaMask wallet or create a new one if you are interested in doing safe &secure transaction in the future. Ensure that you don't  recieve such email in the future by reporting that mail as span. Always check the social media of such companies for latest update. Don't follow any emails blindly as most of them  tend to be phising emails.
Our latest updates should be among the most used trends in the space. There are more projects that we could possibly think of, never to stand low but bringing on our best. This is really one of the tremendous winnings to have in the market. We invests in these altcoins unknown to us that most of them are consider scam and its not trustable to depend on them, because your expectations should be lesser. We have phising mails that's been targeted to be the weapons of these online scamming.

It all lives in the blockchain. There is no way someone would send it out without you being able to see it on the blockchain. So consider that and do your maths. If you’re looking and you can’t find your coins, confirm if you have imported them because that also matters if you get to see it. Also, if phishing happens and you figured it out, why didn’t you consciously transfer out your coins at the time you could see them?

Can a crypto robbery like this be done without it showing up on Etherscan?
Nope, no such crypto robbery done which may not have its traces on blockchain explorers. But, even tracing those hackers won't be any fruitful because most of the times they use temporary wallets for the purpose and clean their coins with the tactics that they know. All the scammers and rug-pullers are technocrats and that's why they do their best to hide their malicious activities.

I doubt thats the case, any transaction will definitely appear on etherscan since they are using data from the blockchain its all recorded, if the data doesn't show up in the blockchain it simply means there's no such transaction, i think your doubt is unfounded so therefore you need not to worry but if you think your wallet somehow has been compromised its always good to use or generate new wallet just in case, even worst if the one that got leaked is your priv key or your wallet phrase then its as good as gone and whatever money you put there are at risk.

if you somehow worried about you approving allowance of erc20 tokens in some malicious smart contract you can also try to check it using etherscan beta feature revoke if im not mistaken but you should read their terms first since its beta feature, always careful when interacting with smart contract or any phishing, they can steal money in various ways.

False alarm, I totally forgot that I had a BNB Smartchain wallet. It's all there.

Sincerest thanks for your patience and taking the time to reply.

Glad to see you have fixed your problem. I only remind you that if you are feeling confused about which chain you have stored all of your assets, you can use https://debank.com/profile/0xad94bd19cd23e3390c62fda595c175c4fffdaa68/history to know on which blockchain you have stored all of assets.

It will not time consume for you to find that. It works like a blockchain explorer but for a bunch of blockchains that have supported or integrated with debank.

Mate, this sounds more of a memory problem that anything else lol

If your metamask wallet has been emptied for quite a while now
there’s nothing for the scammers to get ahold of anymore so
they won’t have anything to take out from your wallet.
I don’t think any transactions whether hacked or not won’t be
able to reflect in the activity tab

I'm confused. You say the wallet has been empty since 2022, and the phishing attack just happened a few days ago. Obviously the phishing attack can't go back in time two years to take your crypto in the past ;p

You say "That would be me, not them". So you already know the answer. So what is your confusion?

About the possibility that if it was emptied, it may have been done so in a technically sophisticated way that would not show any activity.

But I guess that would be silly if everything is recorded on the blockchain.

A few days back there was a phishing scam faking an email from BlockFi. I fell for it and signed into my Metamask for them.

Only problem is that it has been awhile since I remember checking on those assets and so I don't know if they're gone because the wallet was emptied or if I transferred them myself. Under 'Activity' it gives a 2022 date for coins being transferred out. That would be me, not them.

Can a crypto robbery like this be done without it showing up on Etherscan? I'm just confused at this point. Maybe I was drained of those assets or maybe I just don't remember when/where I emptied them out a year or two ago.
