As far as I know it's usually on forums or social media, and there you can market it, and I think maybe you won't be fooled if you put it in the NFT marketplace. In my observations, I see that there are some market trends that have low fees, transaction fees are also quite fast, and the NFT community is also growing.

if maybe you really want to make your own NFT, you can do it with several platforms, and make sure you don't choose the wrong platform, because each platform is certainly different, some of you that I often observe such as BakerySwap and Featured By Binance, maybe there are others I don't know much about it.

in this case to be honest I have never tried, and now we see the market trend is increasing.

How do i turn my old photos to NFT. I have lots of crazy old photos but where to begin the marketing is where i get confused and decided to create a thread to avoid been scammed
So just try to minting your photos and it will become NFTs. You can minting your photos to be NFT anytime and there's no restriction about that. Even when we are all minting our NFTs and none can restrict us to do that. don't hear what others said about that. Anyone is always having a chance even when others called him will have done a non sense things. A miracle can happen and it's free for you to try that. None knows if someday your NFT will be popular. It's free and you can try that as soon as possible. You can try to create more and more awareness thread about your NFT in this forum and another forum related with NFT.

This is why NFT makes no sense, what will the buyers use your picture to do right after? How will your picture increase in value so that today's buyer can sell for profits in future? It doesn't make any sense, the only NFTs I can invest money on are those I can use in a game.

Selling of Crazy photos what are the prospect/value does it contain and if customers buys it what are they going to use those crazy photos of yours to do? or could it be that you want to build up a project and if yes it requires you to get a team members also having some necessary documentation to launched photos in turns of NFT ect.

Today’s market is all about buzz and how viral particular art, clip, pics, insta reel or whatever it may be. I have seen the selfie guy who literally became millionaire by just uploading his face since few years. So what can we say about that? Do you really think that there art in it or is it worth NFTing stuff?

The only point when he broke the internet was the time when social media made buzz about it, made it go viral.

These days it’s more or less what can entertain people and investors rather than sophisticated brush strokes on the leather canvas mate!

So simply - Create buzz, media, go viral. (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook could be starting point).
And you think that all these makes sense? A guy taking selfies of himself and selling on opensea for money, like honestly what is going on? Imagine if everyone start doing the same? Who are idiots buying because this is not something that is useful for anyone, no wonder people said the perfect way to embezzle money is through NFTs.

This is really silly.

you are right, although now everything can also be marketed in the NFT marketplace. but without making it unique and viral it won't have any value.
they ended up buying selfie photos as well are some of the investors who understand how the story of the photos was taken. a story that went viral and got a lot of public attention. that's what makes it valuable.

How do i turn my old photos to NFT.
There are lots of tutorial that you can find on the internet similar to this one.

I have lots of crazy old photos but where to begin the marketing is where i get confused and decided to create a thread to avoid been scammed
Sure, you have a lot of old images, but are those jpegs worth the shot to sell? I mean, unless you've made a name for yourself in the NFT space like Beeple or Pak, you can't just throw an old photo into an NFT marketplace and expect someone would bid on it without expecting something in return.

It must provide collectors with incentives, a purpose, and long-term value. And It's not as simple as you may think to sell NFT on the open market. If you do not have those prerequisites, you will just waste your money in gas fees for nothing.

I don't know, but if you think your old photographs is something that might exceed the selfies of Sultan Gustaf Al Ghozali[1], then I think it is worth giving a shot. Who knows? Maybe you'll be the next creator who will sell millions of dollars because of "wittyness".

If its just easy to sell crazy photos, we all would have been creating NFTs and sell. The market is favorable to artist that has tons of fans already like celebrities who does it already even the rise of NFTs.

Would like to use that opensea tutorial soon. Maybe there is the need for rarity of old photos like year 1800 photos will work even when the people in the photo is not known. Or just historical photos like old NY streets could have value.

BSC, MATIC, SOL, AVA, FANTOM,... have low fees, fast transaction times, and an increasingly large NFT community. If you want to create your own NFT, you can also do this using DeFi platforms like Featured By Binance, BakerySwap, TreasureLand,... I've also converted some private photos to NFT. Honestly, because of the growing trend, I still don't feel much meaning in these things.

Usually in forums and social media. That's where you have to market it and tell to your potential customers why they should take those old photos of you that you've minted as an NFT.
You won't be scammed if you put that placed on the NFT marketplace like opensea, bidders and buyers will be there and the platform itself is going to secure your sale. Unless you do a P2P transaction then the potential of being scammed is truly high.
