How do I do this showing the actual clip not just a link?
You can't. It's as simple as that.

I'm not sure if the forum allows [flash] to be used, because you could possibly do that. Most likely it's disabled to prevent spam.

there is a flash link in the toolbar, would you know how to do it that way?

The icon is there but it won't work. Flash is disabled in this forum for security reasons.

If it's disabled, then why have it on the list? I suggest removing it unless, that is, it'll cost ~$50K, then let it stay.

Hmm, it would probably take at least 6months... Take into account Lauda's salary... carry the one... Yep. About 48.6k.

Seriously though I never noticed it was there. Just looking around the forum I never saw flash so I've always made the assumption we couldn't use it. Looks like my assumption was right!

Not sure if the following html code will work or not but you can give it a try
snip
HTML is blocked on the forum for (I hope) obvious reasons. Using this code won't do anything.

Tl;dr you cannot embed YouTube videos into posts.
Something that some people do is create a thumbnail using [img] tags, then link the video to that thumbnail. It's probably the best you can get.

Convert the video clip into a GIF. Reduce the size many times so the board's image proxy allows it (3MB I think?). Highly unrecommeneded, but probably the only option to show the actual clip.

It's used like this:
Code:
[flash=x,y]flashLink[/flash]
Don't know if the forum has it enabled, as most don't since it's a security risk.
