OK, so I know you can download a bitcoin wallet to your computer and encrypt it. Pritty safe..
And then back it up to a USB so you don't lose your wallet. (ok, now Im a
bit safer
If I then delete the wallet on my computer therese nothing to hack right?
But if some one is all ready haveing control of your computer, then encrypting it would not help much, right?
Then they got the info they need and just wait for me to fill up my wallet.
Worst case scenario..
So, I've seen these online java script wallets like bitaddress . org.
They generate a random address and private key. (seems realy safe)
How do they work?
Is it possible that it generates an address witch all ready exists?
It should work offline, right?
Lets say the bitaddress.org script works offline and can creat an address and private key.
I "mine" or send some bitcoins to the address created, and after some month I want to use the bitcoins I've got.
In order to use the bitcoins I have to ether download a bitcoin wallet to my computer and then use my private key to send, witch expose my private key again.
Or, another alternative webpage where I can use my bitcoins, but again I need to expose my private key (in this case, give it away).
I hope some one got a few answers for me and understood my questions, and maybe if these are answerd it can also help ppl who are wondering about the same things
Thank you for the help
