if you still can't do it, then you can also use trust wallet to directly swap your bnb from bep2 to bep20 and vice versa. make sure you create a new wallet though, so you won't compromise your main wallet security (the metamask one, i suppose).

I bought some btc on coinbase and sent it to binance.us to get bnb. Now when I have my bnb and put in my metamask wallet, it says this is not a "bep2" address. Apparently I need the bep20 chain? I already have my metamask working on both sides and the bsc chain added. How do I get this BNB to either convert to bnb smart chain? on the binance wallet, its black not yelly, but just sas "bnb" in my wallet.... sent to metamask?
