Is it possible to convert to fiat through OKpay or is this painful? Such as when you deposit USD to buy bitcoin (but you must use an intermediary Sad).

Can anyone provide their recommendation please for turning BTC into cash?  I'm in the US.  I'm just looking for the simplest and reputable company.  I don't really mind about paying a little extra to have safety.  I'd rather not use localbitcoins, I'm looking for an exchange.  Thanks.

coinbase is probably the best for what you are looking for.

Coinbase.

So I can send BTC to coinbase and then sell the BTC, and withdraw the fiat into my bank account?  How long do withdrawals take to get into your account?  (I'm already signed up, just haven't tried it yet).

EDIT: I just saw it takes 2-4 business days to go into your account.  This seems really simple to sell BTC into USD...are there any issues with Coinbase?  I'm surprised more people don't use it...

Check out localbitcoins.com for sellers (you receive cash) in your area.

thanks, but I was looking for an exchange, not localbitcoins.  It would just be easier for me because I have a decent amount of BTC I'd like to exchange.

Check out my signature then (https://bit-x.com)
