new investors can do bounty or airdrop to get coins. This would be better executed than having to lose investments owned on market conditions bad enough as it is. research is the main thing to do and this is what will determine whether new investors would be able to endure or instead will also suffer losses in processing their coins.
You mean instead of investing with some cryptocurrencies, new investors must go for doing bounties or airdrop to obtain some coins. That sounds as a good idea. But, I believe not all the people are set all the requirements for doing bounties. That is the reason, most people will prefer to purchase simply.

New investors are always lagging with knowledge for doing research and analysis. They simply come into this forum and keep asking about suggestions for buying cryptocurrencies. We cannot expect them to be fully knowledge about picking up right coin and filtering out the shitcoins. I believe there could be no simple process to find out on rich cryptocurrency on-which we must invest, it is a very big task and challenging one also. Hence, I believe simply referring them to bitcoin will be the right suggestion for them as bitcoin will have definite good future.

There are so much crypto assets at the moment and nobody would tell you what crypto you should buy to gain the best profit. Just invest your time in researching the top 20 altcoins and decide for yourself what altcoins to chose.

As a first timer, you will need to read a lot and get to understand how crypto works as well as obtain knowledge on its volatility before even thinking on what assets to purchase. First thing he/she needs to know is that buying coins or assets is not a guarantee for a good return on investment over time. Then can start reading about the different coin projects and their partnerships along with roadmaps before buying choice coins/assets

From my own experience it is recommended that invest your money with your own research and knowledge may it take some longer time because study is required at every movement of the investment when to sell and buy.
Blind investment is fraught with losses ,however, you may choose from top ten coins of the market.

Nobody would be able to tell you in what coins to invest in, because we all prefer different coins. Just spend some hours by investigating different coins and I hope you will find some great tokens for you and will be able to make great profits even on this market.

I never have ever listened to advice what to buy, I used my own thinking and usually used and read about cryptocurencyes with most fame, like: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero, Etherium.  Not to mention I closely looked at Coinmarketcap.com site and study it. Now I opened my eyes to even more crypto assets, I even use some on a daily basis.

For new investors, it seems that they have to think harder to find information about how to research the ICO project, because investing in ICO is something that is related to our funds so that we cannot arbitrarily choose coins to invest. At least ask people who already have good experience with ICO investments.

Studying is better than listening to experts' pieces of advice cause they're also humans who are usually mistaken and lose their money like others. Begin with $30-50 and learn from your own mistakes!

There are a lot of cryptocurrencies out there and how does a new investor with little knowledge of how the crypto ecosystem work earn from crypto. His there any experience one needs to be exposed before deciding to invest? I am very much concern seeing that the fact that a currency is rising today does not guarantee it will be so forever. My question is simply how do a new investor go about earning in cryptocurrency without experiencing much lost on his investment? Especially with regards to the selecting the best currency to purchase

just follow the expert advices to trade the crypto. never try to buy the dip just because you think that it is the extreme dip and market won't drop any further.. always use the stop loss option on the exchange..just invest as told by the financial analysts also if you are plannig to invest in the fresh ico then go after the team of the project .. dig deep as much as you can

It is necessary to choose projects in which there is a real product, such projects will remain afloat, but if you invest in a dummy, then you should not be surprised that you lost money.
But what about projects that have great plans and a good team but the product is not ready yet? ignore? I think that it is necessary to allocate some part for your money to invest in such projects.

For me the best way to know which is the best coin to invest into is the kind of product that they are offering and that is why the coins right now are very hard for me to invest in since most of the good products are already taken by the big players, I would just rather invest in coins like bitcoin and ethereum because I know that they have the best products to offer

First of all it is better to read different forums in order to learn more about the projects and coins, and there are lots of experienced people there, but of course before investing it is better to learn in deep the coin. personally I find the information here on the Bitcointalk forum and some others, of course first I learn a lot about the coin, learn its community and look how it is traded and where. Just be attentive and do not make rapid unthoughtful actions.

I do lots of research before finding the coin for investment. White paper is the first thing you should read to understand about the project and determine whether the business model is feasible.

Ofcourse researching about the project multiple times I'll give you a best solution also check the popularity through media like which is trending, for sure you will get a clue. Kindly plan for long-term investment if you expecting a huge profit.

I usually follow the team and try to see if there is any improvements and news coming up. When a coin is going up in price it is usually because they have done something new and not all of a sudden (except the pump and dumps). Hence, if I want to make a profit from buying a new coin I need to be around the team and really need to know if the coin is trying to do something new.

For example spectre is working towards building a v3 for themselves, trying to improve into proof-of-stealth which will be new in crypto world and they are working on a mobile app, considering all of these at the same periods, if you purchase it right now and sell after all of these are done the price should be high, sometimes stuff like these doesn't change the price that much but I honestly have seen too many coins increase in price with each step and collectively they increase the price a lot.

In my opinion, you need to have sufficient knowledge about the cryptocurrency market which I believe is very important. Knowledge is the key to become successful with your goal in the crypto community. Once you feel you had acquired the knowledge, then you may start to engage yourself into crypto investment. I would suggest that you should consider first on the alts that belongs to the top 50 altcoins at CMC and study the market trend on the specific altcoin target. Invest an amount that you feel you can afford to lose and observe the outcome.

You need to check the project very carefully. You must read the whitepaper, because it is the most important document of a company. I am also usually checking the rating websites and if an ICO has great ratings everywhere, than I invest in such projects and get my profit.

I think you should look at the top 100 coins on coinmarketcap, study them, their price movements and what they stand for. Remember to buy the rumor and sell the news. That way you stay profitable. Never FOMO into coin, especially those you have no info about and what's responsible for the price surge. Chances are that you're very late and it's dumping again.

Studying crypto and the type is more important before making an investment. Each kin has different properties and functions, but it will seem tempting for large coins and have potential. Indeed, to be able to invest in large coins requires large capital, but can invest from a small one but having a future is also better. Learn and find coins that can bring you luck.

In my opinion bro if you dont have too much experience about crypto space you can start investing ethereum firstly because eth price is very low for now. if you want earning free tokens from icos you need to join bitcointalk signatures and you can follow all the new icos via telegram and too many icos are doing some airdrop to their members. finally surely you can not be sure about anything if you dont have any experinced in my opinion you should try to learn more about crypto currencies because in cmc we have 2k coin.

Basically, you have to do a lot of research.
Try to avoid just following what youtubers and crypto tweeters say.
Typically they are paid to promote coins and their opinions are biased.

What you want to look for, are companies that have a real working product that solves a real world issue, devs that openly communicate, and a track record of success.
There are other factors, like market cap, circulating coins, etc., but if they have those three things, you can say it is a good company that will probably be successful.

From there, you need compare that company to its competitors and figure out which one has the most longterm value.
Remember, things like market penetration and name brand awareness often make a company last longer rather than just superior tech.

Of course, you could just invest in the core two cryptos: eth and btc.
These are almost always guaranteed to bring you profit in the long run and are very easy to buy and sell.

It's simple, don't purchase cryptocurrency as an investment, purchase it for its utility. If you don't see any cryptocurrencies that appeal to you for their primary function, then don't buy any! Cryptocurrencies are not supposed to be investment options, they are supposed to be currency.

A currency commonly useful for other optional matters like for a certain product which you will be using it, like for gambling or like coins used for your trading fees. All applicable ideas associated with coins, always matters with a certain cryptocurrency. In order to determine it's importance you can join their social media updates, because their road map will always initiate a good community using social media advertisements on whatever activities they had as part of their currency growth.

If you want something that is stable and going up at a moderate pace then look at coins in the top 30 of coinmarketcap. However, for some mad gains look lower down and pick a good project with a great team and lots of development planned

Rather then considering the best crypto currency or wasting time in this, its always better to consider the top 50 crypto currencies for investment always. Now, the important part is when you enter your position in the coin you plan to invest. Always look out for dips to buy, try buying at support levels and not at resistance.
Buy in Red, sell in green< This is the moto I keep using for my investments. Look out for coins with strong fundamentals and buy them when they are in real bad market price, hold them and with the bull market, you clearly get good profits on them.

I agree with this statement. But you should always remember that the chance to earn 50/50% So invest in each cryptocurrency no more than 10% of your funds.

always make technical analysis mate so that you can choose a good coin to invest. Which is stay away in other recommendation and make your own research instead to assure the coin is good and worth it . I prefer you to pick some coin HERE but make sure to choose coin that listed on top section.

I like the tactic when your crypto portfolio contains 50 percent of Bitcoin (long-term investment), 40-45 percent make up about 5-7 coins or tokens from the top 20-30 (long-term investment), and 5-10 percent are the means for which you can try to trade on the stock exchange and try to increase your money.

There is no hard & fast rule to select in which cryptocurrency a person should invest, massive amount of cryptocurrencies really makes difficult to decide which would be having a good value in future, a simple rule to invest in cryptocurrency is only invest in those cryptocurrencies which have practical use in real life & is being adopted by public steadily, if there is no practical use then avoid it & stay away from pump & dump cryptocurrencies.

Very interesting question. Now firstly, it depends on whether you are buying for long term, short term or mid term.  If short term or mid term , news or rumours like big partnership or big upcoming events like coin burn, listing on top exchange, product release etc of the project having the said coins or tokens can make you buy in, then sell when the event has launched. If long term, probably when you see great potentials in the project, maybe they got a great team and product and you believe the coins or tokens will appreciate in value over time, then you buy in. Just my own opinion.

Good question. Start by searching the project, don't believe everything they have put on their website. Look for external sources. Look closely at the team and their LinkedIn profile and cross reference. If it's an ICO look if they have already a MVP and if yes try it out. There is no quick or safe way but when the plus on a project are more than the minuses than I give it a try. But always do your own research and don't follow what a lot of YouTubers say. They are just payed people to talk good on the project even though they say otherwise.

P. S: There will be a lot of sleepless night. Welcome to the Crypto world

the thing that new investors need to do is learn everything about crypto first, then start trading. Basic knowledge such as work methods, history, and problems that are often experienced here, must be known.

and if it's all been learned, maybe he no longer needs a suggestion from someone else.

I don't even consider the top from coinmarketcap. It is better to look at the best, no matter where it stands. For example, DeepOnion is at 450+ but still I consider worthy to invest in DeepOnion because they have a good active team also, they have a good community and a good product.

I always prefer investing in top coins from CMC. I prioritize the utility of a coin because, without utility, most of the coins will be dumped too lower that you will not get the time to sell even and it will never be recovered too. But whenever, you will invest in a coin which has some real utility, it will recover for sure.

First of all, it gets narrowed down to what interests you, or what you are willing to take the risk for. If you find a coin that matches your interest, and after doing your analysis, you feel it is worth investing in, then you should go ahead and purchase it and invest in it. If you do not know what interests you at the moment and are confused as to what coin to invest in, you can seek for advise or invest in any of the top listed coins.
