If na something like opay you for just add 0 to the pampay number call the person but since na pampay, I no no how pampay matter dey be. If you figure out way to call the guy and E no work, just forget am. Because ordinarily Hausa men dey mumunwell well,when dem mistaken call your line self you tell them say wrong number dem no go allow you rest them go dey disturb you always till dem frustrate your life. Talk more of when you don send them money. Oga I go beg you just forget about that money, God don use you solve person problem wey dey cause am Sleepless night. So just be greatfull say you don save person life today some where. Naim make we be humans we must surely make mistakes. So that one don go and you are bigger than that. Now ask yourself this question, what if she sent the money from a normal bank account how could you have contacted her for the refund.
Legal way to go about this:
If you send money to wrong account, you can go to any court of competent jurisdictions and get an affidavit that contains all the bank and transactions details with stamps, normally the process cost #15,000 to get the affidavit depending on the amount of money you sent to the wrong guy account, you then submit the court affidavit to the person bank, and once submitted you give them two weeks the money will be deducted and deposited back into your account.
Police have nothing to do with wrong transactions, it court and bank and if the person spend the money the bank will place the BVN of the person on red flag which means anywhere he drop money it will be taken as outstanding.
For me, I for say make you just forget the money. I know say economy no good to that extent wey person fit just forget money like that but at least na 5k, if you try to call the person and if no way, just forget the money because no way wey you fit trace that kind money because if you try you go only spend more money than weytin you lose.

Hmmm, as e be so, na to just add zero in front of the numbers and call am, because palmpay just be like opay, na ur phone number be ur account number, when you remove the first zero, so for this ur matter, na to just pray make the person wey receive the money cooperate with you, if not, the money don go, because I no think say palmpay get that kind power like bank to retrieve money sent to the wrong account number, so I still suggest like oga Charles don talk already, call am and reason with am, if ur luck go shine, if the money fit come back.
This is just like sending assets to the wrong wallet, that's why it is not good to do something when we are in a hurry. It would have been better if you were the one that received the money just like in the case of @Charles Tim. I think you should just let the money go and if the person that received it is a good and honest person he/she will make the efforts to return the money back to you. No matter the pressure we are, let always take time to verify receiving address and beneficiary names whenever we are handling transactions.
