Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹
From your topic, it's safe to say that what you call "highly professional knowledge" is about performing task to earn in here too? Like joining bounties(when they get to a desired rank), acquiring managerial skills and script writing etc?
So despite the fact that this forum is a great place to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, there is a lot of knowledge outside of this forum as well, and those newbies who tend to have knowledge are newbies in this forum but aren't newbies in the industry.

Exactly what I think some people need to know, that you see a lot newbie accounts shouldn't make you think the newbie profile has something to do with the knowledge of the owner of the account. Right now a lot of people are well informed about cryptocurrency especially bitcoin but they are yet to find out about the forum where they can get more exposed in terms of having more information about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency so in all I think people should see newbies accounts as newcomers in the forum not in knowledge unless they declare that they have zero knowledge in cryptocurrency.
@Sandra_hakeem, many people do not know that there are alot of resource places to gain knowledge of cryptocurrency outside this forum. The main reason I rate here above many other places I know is because of the natural flow of conversations, why I still value forums.

@Giftedman, you are very correct. There are many newbies behind established accounts and vice versa. It is important not to focus on the rank of the account but the quality it produces.

I believe he meant the posts they make that are full of knowledge which are what he is calling highly knowledgeable contributions.

Some people need to understand that this forum isn't the only place to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies or understand everything about them. The whole internet is full of knowledge and information about cryptocurrencies, and we can see the craze and hype about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies everywhere but if you ask, most of the people who are interested in cryptocurrencies know nothing about this forum.

So despite the fact that this forum is a great place to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, there is a lot of knowledge outside of this forum as well, and those newbies who tend to have knowledge are newbies in this forum but aren't newbies in the industry.

By reading and exposure to Bitcoin before they join the forum and after they have joined, also having a good mentor ,they kept on reading to broadening their knowledge on Bitcoin. When you read, you acquire more knowledge, making reading an habit expand your idea and reasoning ability , reading builds up your mind and sense of creativity .
Exactly!
There is even more to this, if you abide by any forum rules and regulations, pay attention to all the forum activities making sure you dedicate your time towards learning and interact with forum users without fair due to ranks; you as a newbie will learn a lot of things and as well as asked question to get more clarification when the need arises.
The only secret behind all these success and ability to blend and interact with each other in the forum will give more confidence.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
I have been across newbie ranks with great intellectual exploitation in the forum like they have been here for long now. What is the secret behind their knowledge on considering the high level of their contributions in the forum? Does it mean they have the knowledges before joining the forum? Or are they bot accounts?
I am just curious as a beginner. Thank you all.
it's either they're alts (just like you said) or they've been in other forums/ had major dealings in Bitcoin and it's ecosystem. Everything doesn't happen like magic; I take myself as an instance.. I haven't learnt any programming language/skill so I can't just miraculously communicate in high level languages. If you really wanna acquire a skill, get started and stop being curious [you sound pretty much like an alt too]

If you find an account like this then ignore it and report the post.
People who only rely on Bots for discussion are just lazy and don't want to independently improve their knowledge on this forum.
Most people that post with bots are doing it just to fulfill their signature post count, those people are just on the forum because of signature payment, and they have nothing to offer anyone or the forum, so whenever we come across posts like that, we should either report those posts or just put the user on the ignore list. If anyone really wants to learn or impact their knowledge on others, then they shouldn’t post with bots.

If a beginner or anyone wants to get good enough knowledge, then study and read every post or thread that is useful here, learn anything slowly,
then over time you will also understand.
But don't expect too much to be very professional right away, it takes a process and it's not short.
Any newbie using AI to post is just doing it because they want to rank up and participate in signature campaigns, they believe AI will help them create a quality post that will earn them merit and easily rank up. So people using AI to post don’t have anything to offer, their motives are always different.

The only secret behind the knowledge is simply "They have the knowledge", rank in the forum does not qualify level of intelligence or exposure in cryptocurrency topics and Bitcoin. Some of them already have knowledge before joining the forum, same time learnt as time went by about Bitcoin in the forum which made they sound.
Some might be bot account, alt account too but it should not be generalized as it is possible to have great ideas even as a newbie or low rank member in the forum.

Newbies can sometimes be new in the forum but not new already about bitcoin. They might be exposed with bitcoin before that’s why they were aware already on its own feature and how it should be utilized at its maximum level. But engaging in the forum despite of its rank or position has certainly add more new information and insights to his stock knowledge about bitcoin, the reason why it’s easy for them to come up with intelligent answers since bitcoin itself is not new anymore to them.
Yes, can be new in the forum but has achieved maximum knowledges and has experienced UPs and DOWNs in their Bitcoin journey.

So of such new ranked members as OP may have emphasized lately joined this forum meanwhile... There may have been an existed platform which they may have belonged in the past before coming here.
So it will always be easy for them to flow with those Bitcoin and Crytop discussions in both technicalities and the mere investments.

So such users might may have their most difficulties basically to understand the terms of how thie bitcointalk forum works since they are just new to the system but practically they have expanded knowledges in Crypto related matters.

The forum isn't the real world, your ranks doesn't represent the knowledge that you have in the real world but your time on the forum and how you use the knowledge you already have to impact the forum. You can be knowledgeable but when you don't help on the forum by creating contents worth meriting, you won't advance on the forum but someone with little knowledge that utilizes his chances will advance more than you. Newbies seen with vast knowledge on Bitcoin/crypto can be genuine and also alts of established members which isn't against the rules of the forum to have alts but don't abuse its privileges.

Your rank shouldn't limit the knowledge that you should be seeking. What matters more is how we're benefiting from Bitcoin and not how we're growing on the forum. You can use the forum for strictly information gathering and apply them in real life to protect your investment and growing your portfolio. You can be a newbie but your portfolio is that of a millionaire and you're winning in real life which is what is more important and should be out targets not when you're growing on the forum but you have nothing to write home about in the real world, giving others advice that you should be listening to.

  • There are newbie accounts with old users behind them.
  • And there are absolute newbies.

Some of them might have been here before now but I don’t think the accounts you might be referring to are bots.

To gain exposure in this forum is normal, it’s not something that is hard to achieve because when you check the forum entirely it is a general forum just like other forums, you can interact in the forum just as others are doing in several forums since it is a public place to discuss.

Some people are not new to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency, they are just new to this forum.

Some people are fast learners that are used to going round everywhere to learn and understand their rules and regulations together with some concepts on how to leave and interact in the forum before they open account and start interacting with others.
Some are just well-rounded people that they already have brilliant ideas on every topic that they encounter, whether it's crypto related or not. So it won't take a lot of time for them before they learn the background of crypto. And being a newbie do not mean that his knowledge about crypto is certainly a newbie level too, one thing that most of the members here misinterpret it.

First of all as a newbie I will say well come to Bitcoin knowledge. Here you will learn all you need to know about crypto currencies because you are not alone there are people who have high knowledge about crypto currencies here and also you as a newbie who wants to know more about Bitcoin can just drop the area you want to be impacted and watch how answers and corrections come like it is an Al.

Anyways there are some newbies who still have the little knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies before joining the forum so it's not bad sharing the ideas you got, and still nobody knows everything you would still see the ones you don't know at all, as a newbie my advice is that to gain the highly professional knowledge here you have to belong like don't feel exempted because many newbies have the mentality of this post is not for my level therefore it's not for me, no rather go and read them and gain the high knowledge.

Newbies is just a tag given to a user according to the time he joined the forum. The tag on their name doesn’t mean the level of knowledge they have had about bitcoin. Some are professionals in the field of cryptocurrency and just came to find out about the forum and open an account. What some of them do is to just come online and give answer to technical questions about bitcoin then go offline again. Some also come online to interact with others and share knowledge then go offline again. The newbie is just a tag, it doesn’t really define how broad the person is knowledgeable in bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
Right indeed. Some may have newbie in position but cryptocurrency is not new to them. They may be exposed to cryptos already even before they start to register in the forum and participate with the discussion. That's probably the reason why some are tag with newbie position, but in reality their level of knowledge about cryptocurrency is more on heros or legendary in position.

Some of the newbies have Bitcoin knowledge before joining the forum that is why some of the newbies do create important threads that will beneficial to the general public, and as a result of that, they rank up easily; while some of the newbies are learning very fast through other people threads and some links many people are dropping which means they are learning very fast through other people’s explanations.

With the help of ChatGPT, all things in this forum are possible. Just give it an idea and let the AI work on it. If the forum admin does not address this, there will be rampant use of AI here on Bitcointalk.
ChatGPT does not make life better, just making people lazy. You cannot also trust AI generated write ups because there's a lot of misinformation that they can give out and then people will just take it easily because it is coming from a robot. AI can be also very wrong.

In case you do not know, because of your rank, AI generated post are not accepted in the forum.

My account is older than yours. I know posting AI-generated content here on bitcointalk is not allowed. I'm not very active, which is why my rank is only Jr. Member. The difference is, I'm posting here not to meet any signature campaign quota. Maybe soon I'm one of you.

Beginner account, there are two parts to the person who manages the account.
1. Beginner account, the account holder is not a beginner, he has a banned account with a high ranking, aka a fake beginner.
2. Really a true beginner, don't have an account at all and really know the forum.

These two things often happen here, so if you are a true beginner, you need to learn a lot about what is on this forum, whether it is discussions about crypto, bitcoin and many others, including technology, trading, mining and so on, you need knowledge in that field so that you become a professional user of forums and crypto.

I don't know where you found these newbies with great bitcoin knowledge, a greater portion of newbies these days are nothing but knowledgeable about bitcoin nor the forum in general. Anyway, there are a few newbies who register in the forum, but have been bitcoiners for a longer time, they were prolly in other bitcoin forums, or they were reading in this forum without creating an account.

If i am to give you one advise, i'd say forget about what anyone else is doing and focus on your developing your own knowledge at your own pace.

If you want to learn more about the forum, keep an eye on the Meta board and if you have any questions.  You can tell in this section.  And if you want to understand about crypto then you can learn from Google, YouTube, Chat Ai like chatGPT but don't post anything here with the help of any Ai or copy from any article.
Those who are wise always try to learn new things by themselves, they never think of themselves as noob and never think of themselves as weak. They strategize on their own to find out what they need and become experts in it.

That you are a newbie in the forum doesn't mean that you are a newbie in real life. People have vast experience in different aspects of of life prior to joining this forum. And the forum is also vast that it has almost every aspect that treats different issues of life. So when you see some newbies talking and sharing their experiences, it is what they have already known before they joined the forum. Many newbies has been into bitcoin investment and trading for so long before they even knew about this forum. You will also agree with me that this forum is not like every other site that you can easily find on your own unless someone who has been here introduce it to you. I know some people that are very knowledgeable about bitcoin that are not even in this forum, just imagine if they finally get here and start contributing and sharing their knowledge, even with their account still a newbie or Jr. Member. So your rank doesn't define your level of knowledge.

Being newbies in this forum doesn't mean that it is all of them that are new to cryptocurrency, some might have been into trading or investments before joining, so you can not compere their level of perticipatiion with those that don't have any experience before joining. Besides the internet has made it easier to learn about cryptocurrency faster than depending on only what is being discussed in the forum, personally the many links that are shared by experienced members have also helped me a lot to increase my cryptocurrency knowledge. Another reason why some newbies makes more quality posts than others is because we have different levels of focus and assimilation, what one newbie will take a short time to understand can take another newbie a longer time.

Generally I think Bitcoin has been in existence for years now and at such a lot of people have come across the news about Bitcoin and how the investment is done even without coming to the forum here and looking at how the media has spread a lot of negative information about Bitcoin it has made it to gain more popularity which has made a lot of people to be well informed about it even without investing or coming here as a member. Secondly, the Internet has made a lot of things look very easy because using Google and YouTube can actually teach you a loabout t of things which you may not know before. I think most newbies which have a lot of knowledge here in the forum didn't get registered today because if they did you will notice a lot of differences when they write because one thing is to have Bitcoin knowledge the other is to understand how the forum works and the way to communicate effectively with other members. If you want to get notice as a newbie then you have to focus more on building your knowledge by making research with time you will be surprised to see how far your knowledge has increased.
even though the beginners who come to the forum are still Newbies in rank. but we cannot ignore their knowledge if they have it. they can get knowledge about Bitcoin, trading, or investment from various sources. On social media, we can see that many accounts related to crypto have many followers. I'm sure they're not all forum members, but they get information from various sources.
when they join the forum, I guess they just have to adjust to the forum. especially the rules and various existing topics.

Unfortunately, some beginners think of forums as social media. just copying information they get from social media or other sources and posting on forums without providing the main source. This shows that some beginners want to appear knowledgeable but they don't use their intelligence.

If we come to know through the forum about a topic that we never knew about before then that is one of the biggest gains from the forum for the members. If we sit thinking that we can learn something from the forum and get better experience, but we can never learn anything good from this forum. We have to be curious, as long as we are curious this forum will give us a lot. If we try to understand a subject without understanding, then we will understand about those subjects, but if we avoid that subject without trying, then in the future, we may regret a lot for that unknown subject.  Basically there should be a regular one in the forum as well as every topic of the forum should be looked at very seriously only then it is possible to gain higher knowledge about certain topics from this forum.

There's a possibility they are an alt of other accounts with a higher rank here in Bitcointalk, and this is not the only place where you can become experts regarding Cryptocurrency; there are other platforms where you can become an expert or knowledgeable about Cryptocurrency, one of these is Reddit, and there's also a lot of reference on YouTube and other news media outlets.

I don't rely on everything I've known and will know here in Bitcointalk. There are other platforms where I subscribe to increase my knowledge.

there are different set of newbies here, some have known much more about Cryptocurrency before coming to the forum, some are alt acct, some are old people who has been ban and decides to start afresh. Some have been concentrating in the bounty section and making post but not getting enough merit since bounty work does not require much quality post, they hardly earn merit. so for that reason they become always a newbie with alot of activities while some have Been here for a longer time studying without contributing anything but just reading to know more before commenting and when they comment it will look as if it's a legendary. Just bear it in mind that if bitcoin knowledge was to be updated  to anybody's account immediately they Register in this forum, some newbies in this forum deserve to be a legendary, but because the forum has a procedure which everyone must follow serially, so they can't parmit such a thing.
You're right. Some newbies are not actually new in the crypto market, although they maybe new members in the forum. That's why the concepts about crypto is not new to them, as they can even seems more knowledgeable than those legendary members in the forum.

But for those who have a lot of questions how to grow in the forum and how to gain more knowledge about bitcoin and the crypto space, most probably they are those literal newbies in the forum that have no ideas yet about what they are entering.

Everyone you see here giving some good contributions started as newbies and were not having all the knowledge they have right now during their time as newbies. One thing you need to understand that is learning is a process that you can't just capture everything at a time , but as you Continue to learn you will gain more knowledge.  Just take your time and do your learning and with time you will be like other forum members that are contributing. If you really want to gain good knowledge you need to be consistent in your learning , it is nothing difficult to gain knowledge but it requires discipline and to be focused.

Anybody using a bot to post is not really ready to learn. If you are caught using a bot to post, then your account is going to be tagged because your post is really not useful to the forum, and the person is not really ready to learn on the forum here.

If you find an account like this then ignore it and report the post.
People who only rely on Bots for discussion are just lazy and don't want to independently improve their knowledge on this forum.

Even though it is clear that the use of ChatGPT is strictly forbidden for discussion, because it will not have an opinion personally.

If a beginner or anyone wants to get good enough knowledge, then study and read every post or thread that is useful here, learn anything slowly,

But don't expect too much to be very professional right away, it takes a process and it's not short.

I've been in this forum for about 8 years and since I have first been in this forum, I started learning what crypto is,
how to earn from crypto and whether it can give me what I want.
From that long journey and continuing to learn, everything paid off, and I am still on the Bitcointalk forum to this day.

Some people's coming here doesn't mean they don't have knowledge about the cryptocurrencies; some only wish to come so that they can share their experience knowledge with other people's, but some didn't know anything about the cryptocurrencies till time they introduced themselves to this wonderful forum, and one thing about the knowledge is that it is not enough anymore. No matter how knowledgeable some people are, they will still participate, where they can expand their knowledge.

Furthermore, if you also want to be part of those that have a high level of knowledge, you should endure and face the only thing that brought you there. Don't criticize anyone; just focus and lean about Bitcoin, and do insist on asking questions about what you do not understand, so that your fellow members who are ahead of you with knowledge can take you to the right path and you will probably gain a lot of knowledge. The secret to gaining knowledge about this forum is to visit the old threads, take your time, and go through them. It can definitely help your journey.

What is the secret behind their knowledge on considering the high level of their contributions in the forum?
Because an account is a newbie doesn’t mean they lack knowledge about cryptocurrency, and some of them have been on forums for some time. They might just decide to be reading, and accumulating knowledge rather than posting, so they do decide to post when they have some knowledge.

Does it mean they have the knowledges before joining the forum?
Some people always have some knowledge about bitcoin before joining the forum, but some people don’t really have any knowledge. But even if you don’t have any knowledge about bitcoin before joining the forum, you can still learn about it, and you will also be a professional. Just be ready to learn and don’t get annoyed when corrected.

Or are they bot accounts?
I am just curious as a beginner. Thank you all.
Anybody using a bot to post is not really ready to learn. If you are caught using a bot to post, then your account is going to be tagged because your post is really not useful to the forum, and the person is not really ready to learn on the forum here.

It about not limiting yourself to information and also exposing yourself to various sources of information, It takes lots of hard work and dedication to gain such intellect. Although some newbies make good use of their time here while others probably have knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency before joining the forum so the forum rank you see is not the measure of ones knowledge it only signifies your forum activity so far though it signifies the level of contribution in the forum and how people perceive and appreciate their contributions. A person can be a newbie here because he newly opened an account but have the knowledge of a pro.

But some other newbies what I mean those have zero knowledge don't really have the guts to continue since they think its hard for them to proceed because they don't know anything about the forum also on bitcoin or cryptocurrency discussion. Sometimes they are lacking with motivation that's why its hard for them to locate certain important things to consider so that they could learn. So what I can suggest is they should find a good community or people near them or social media which have common interest since for sure that they can learn a lot from them about crypto also on how to navigate well this forum. If there's someone could able to motivate them to continue then for sure that everything will be aligned according to their plans and need. I guess we need to drop down the newbie which already have a knowledge on crypto, but rather its good to discuss those have zero knowledge and help them by giving advice or anything that can help them to grow into this forum.

It is natural for beginners to have a curiosity to learn. The term newbie does not actually mean having less intelligence or less experience. When a member joins here he is called a newbie. There are many members who know everything about crypto currency, bitcoin and bitcoin investment before joining here. Still they join this forum to share their experience and improve themselves.
Newbies should follow the posts of seniors more and more to gain higher professional knowledge in this forum. There is no end to learning, you can learn from every stage of life. A newbie should patiently spend time in this forum to gain enough knowledge and use his will power to unleash the talent within him.

There are many who know a lot before joining the forum. And there are many who after joining the forum have slowly gained knowledge on various subjects for a long time. Curiosity is the most important to gain knowledge and contribute to forums. It is possible for an average person to rank up in the forum. What you need to do is to patiently spend time in the forum and participate in various discussions.
Apart from having to be able to spend time in forums and be more curious about various things in order to have the methods and knowledge needed by every forum user, reading outside the forum which can cause our knowledge to increase and be able to have continuity with forum matters is also necessary. Because every useful knowledge always needs to be improved so that our personal level of knowledge can continue to increase and not become monotonous in just one piece of knowledge.

I sincerely admires your curiosity, I could say that there are different categories of newbies here, it can be an alternative account of some one that is already in the forum, it can also only be that the newbie in the forum has already gained knowledge before coming into the forum or it can also be as a result of how much of seriousness in terms of making researches as regards to what is been shared here and maximizing it by making meaningful contribution, information, being active and intelligently navigating the forum and at most time with a proper guidelines from whoever that introduced such newbie in to the forum which is also an advantage in terms of how much of your growth and progress while navigating the forum. But all of this shouldn't be much of your concern, rather you should be courageous as regards to doing things right by probably learning from those that seems to be growing too, my warm regards to you and your are highly welcomed to Bitcointalk forum.

Actually some newbies here are highly knowledgeable and educated with high intelligence so when they join the forum they begin to use their high intellectual capacity in the forum which makes some people marvel if they are actually newbie though some newbies accounts uses bots to make high quality posts and the number of newbies using chatGPT and other bot aided mechanisms have been on the increase in the forum but AI spam bursters like @lovesmayfamilis, nutildah, LoyceV and others AI spam bursters have been very active in revealing those accounts with the help of some AI tool detectors like quillbot, copyleaks, scribbr and so on. All thanks to them for their efforts in keeping the forum clean of spams, scams and other strange activities going on in the forum.
It's not surprising to see some newbies who are actually highly knowledgeable in the forum because not all newbies are new about bitcoin as they might have known it already prior to entering the forum. And with facts and speculations found all over the internet, these newbies can easily learn a lot about bitcoin if they diligently research about bitcoin even when they are not still part of the forum.

There's lots of mediums where they can tackle bitcoin and crypto discussions so its not really surprising if they came late to know this forum since there's still a lot of people didn't discover or stay on the platform where they belong. So we should not get surprised if they are so good since its normal sightings and for sure they do a lot of research for many years to know that information. Forum ranking doesn't really mean that you are a expert since I see a low rank user which share some good insights about bitcoin and everything they know.

If there's a doubt regarding on their post if this is AI generated text for sure there's lots of ways to determine that they are using a machine. Also they will not succeed using that in long run since if they cheat for sure there will be a time that those people will get busted on their bad activities done.

there are different set of newbies here, some have known much more about Cryptocurrency before coming to the forum, some are alt acct, some are old people who has been ban and decides to start afresh.

A newbie should be open-minded and eager to learn. They should read as much as possible in the forum and ask questions. It's encouraging that people are always willing to answer genuine inquiries, and there are fewer bullies in the forum than before. If you can't find an answer after searching the internet, come here to ask, members are happy to help for free. One thing I miss about new startups is how members used to share their discoveries about each project, especially when there were potential scams. Unfortunately, that's not as common anymore.

You may be curious on how most newbies rank up in an twinkle of an eye but the funny truth is that they are new on the forum doesn't necessarily mean most newbies here aren't knowledgeable about bitcoin. Most newbies here have been into Bitcoin and also knowledgeable about bitcoin so when they find a forum that discuss about Bitcoin they're pleased with sharing their ideas and experience about bitcoin. So my advice to you as a newbie is you ought to read more topics about Bitcoin, carry out research and also being an active member on the forum. In the process of acquiring knowledge you can also contribute on what you know about Bitcoin and other topics on other boards.

most likely the newbie is familiar with bitcoin and various technical matters with it, so even though they are newbies on the forum, they are not newbies in the world of bitcoin.  or it is possible that this account is the second account of a user who has been on this forum for a long time, there have been many cases like that where several accounts are related to 1 person and were discovered because they were too knowledgeable.

however, if you want to develop and be knowledgeable then you can discuss with other users and read things on this forum/external sources, if you are serious then you can be as knowledgeable as them.

It takes time and learning ability, one have to help himself first, you will need to show desperation for learn by being active here, reading on other members comments on thread posts, taking time to research on your own, making the use of the forum search button, asking questions when it is necessary or has not been discussed, going by what others have advised or

Some do while some do not, this is a thing of how you're able to build up your self through learning.
While learning does not happen in an instant, but most likely some of these exceptional newbies are born witty and smart already, even before they enter this forum. So it’s not surprising with the additional reading and research they have done in the forum, they become even more knowledgeable that they began to share useful information in the forum.

However, majority of newbies are still less knowledgeable and less experienced but if they will do some extra miles, I’m sure they will also end up highly knowledgeable and brilliant forum members.

Learning they said, never stops, people keeps learning everyday new things, even if they already have the idea about it, there are new things another person may say which will sound like a new thing to them.

Just like this crypto of a thing, we may think we have know enough but when we encounter some problems which unfamiliar to us, we are to ask questions which some people will bring up new strategy or method that will be of aid to us, by so doing we are learning different method or strategy. So in this world whether new, old, young, adults, we do learn and we shouldn't neglect to learn because learning makes us grow.

There are a couple of bot accounts on the forum like fee buddy in the mempool observer topic and chart buddy in the wall observer thread . I believe those two are the major and most popular bot accounts most forum users are aware of. The set of users you are referring to are totally different from bots. A majority of them just create accounts here to ask a couple of technical questions and then the ditch the account when they get the solution they want.
Some others have accounts here but only come online with them when they have some questions concerning technicalities to ask. The fact is there are a lot of developers and crypto tech persons out there that are not active members of the forum, rather the use the forum as a solution bank for a few problems they are unable to fix.

A bot won't interact.

But those genuine intellects have probably been somewhere else and have done their own research. The rank from the forum doesn't mean that a newbie will be a newbie in all aspects, no, it's not like that because even a hero or legendary member and a random newbie come out. Newbies in the forum have two types: a first type is actual newbies in this forum and in blockchain community too; a second type is senior people in Bitcoin, blockchain community but only join this forum recently and they can be even experts in this field too.

For type 2 newbies, they will not have difficulty in knowledge technically and only have to familiarize themselves with forum structures, rules. For type 1 newbies, they have to learn many things at the same time from forum basics to blockchain basics.

Newbies - Read before posting. They can read the sticky thread to learn about forum basics.

Newbie is a mere rank in the forum. It doesn't necessarily represent knowledge in crypto. Just because a user is ranked Newbie doesn't immediately mean he/she is also a beginner in crypto. There are newbies who are more knowledgeable than high-ranked members.

But, yeah, it could also mean these accounts are like bots, created for the sake of farming. Here, it's not one account per user. Having multiple accounts is definitely a practice.

it isn't too advisable to make it obvious that you are a genius or well knowledgeable about discussions in the forum because other users more especially high rank members may misinterpret you to be an alt account and moreover, a newbie is a newbie so even if you have high knowledge about discussions in the forum you should try and adjust yourself to the level of a newbie pending when you've grown in rank then you can explore your full knowledge but it doesn't mean that any one with high knowledge about discussions in the forum should not air their opinion.
First, I stand to disagree with you on some of this. You don't need to care much about what people will say about how you operate in the forum as long as you are not breaking any rules. Even if you have all the knowledge and still want to hide it, there are members who will still think that you are hiding who you are.

And for the newbies, there are some people who are just newbies by rank in the forum, but from what they know, even some members who badge higher rank might not be able to compete.

What I'm saying in conclusion is that if you have knowledge about something, you don't need to panic or be afraid of what others will think. Instead, engage in conversation as you know them and not hide thinking you are outsmarting anyone when you are only doing it yourself.

Absolutely agree with @Distinctin on this one. It's not everyone with a bewbie ranked account that is a newbie. Most are just new to the forum but not new to Bitcoin. In my case, I was super new to Bitcoin and immediately had to register on the forum because I saw it as a window to learn more about Bitcoin and crypto in general. For anyone else that's in my shoes like I was a few years ago, I'd suggest reading more rather. It's hard to sieve through all the many discourse to get more out of it but ut would be worth it in the end.

Some newbies are good from onset, they have the bitcoin knowledge before joining the forum and when you come across their post, their ranks does now speak well of who they actually are but their contributions to the forum says more about who they are and why level of knowledge they have about cryptocurrency. They are no bot accounts here and I don’t think a bot account can operate here in the forum without been caught immediately. This forum is meant for discussions about bitcoin primarily and cryptocurrencies in general. This is not the only place to get first hand information about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, so don’t be surprise when you see a newbie’s post that is more informative than the higher ranks, it’ll be obvious that they’re actually newbies in the crypto world.

Newbies on this forum can gain knowledge & fit in well by reading & researching extensively about Bitcoin & its underlying tech. Get involved in discussions & ask meaningful questions on the forum, this will help them learn from experienced members. By demonstrating a genuine interest & eagerness to learn newbies can gradually establish themselves within the community here.
The term newbies do not actually imply having less intellect and knowledge in general. Yes, you may be new in the forum but the controversial bitcoin has been all over the internet for long with different version of discussion and from there, your own understanding about bitcoin will start to form already in your mind, and with additional research and studies, newbies could already come up with higher level of understanding and knowledge acquisition.

This is a better topic of discussion to create than the repetitive topic "I'm new here to the forum type of topics..." and the likes from newbies.
There are no bot accounts on the forum. They won't even last an hour here. In my estimation, there are beginners to the forum but not beginners to Bitcoin. Then there are beginners to Bitcoin who are not beginners to the forum. Probably because they are acquainted to how internet forums works. And lastly, there are beginners to both the forum and to Bitcoin.

Some people actually have crypto knowledge before joining the forum, and they just come here to expand their knowledge. Some come here to both learn and share what they already know. There are also those who are good at coding and who are also trying to share their ideas with others in the forum. It all depends on what the person has to offer.

While some just pay attention to the forum, learn everything here, and make themselves relevant in the forum, it all depends on what the person wants and how they work towards it. It's not magical; it's just self-training and discipline.

You have just said it all but let's not also forget that there are high ranking members that opens new accounts and disguise as a newbie to make high quality posts that are above the standards of a newbie however, even though one have a pre knowledge about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, it isn't too advisable to make it obvious that you are a genius or well knowledgeable about discussions in the forum because other users more especially high rank members may misinterpret you to be an alt account and moreover, a newbie is a newbie so even if you have high knowledge about discussions in the forum you should try and adjust yourself to the level of a newbie pending when you've grown in rank then you can explore your full knowledge but it doesn't mean that any one with high knowledge about discussions in the forum should not air their opinion.

It is not surprising that there are many members who join the forum after having prior knowledge and learning the basics of crypto outside the forum. The forum may be the richest space for knowledge and research in the fields of crypto and blockchain in general, but it is certainly not the only source. This is for new members who you may have noticed. There are also old newbie accounts that have been attending the forum for years and have learned a lot from it, but they do not participate in the discussions and are satisfied with just surfing and reading.

In the Bounty and Altcoins section, there are many newbie accounts who have been registered for a long time. These accounts are active, but for purposes other than learning or sharing experiences. I doubt that most or all of them do not understand anything about Bitcoin or technology, but rather their only concern is joining bounty and airdrop campaigns. I advise you not to pay much attention to them and focus on the rest of the boards.

Perhaps what inspires me most to spend more time on the forum is all the experiences I have saw and the distinguished members I stumble upon while surfing different forum boards.

We all bring different backgrounds and experiences here.  Even if someone is new to this forum, they probably have expertise somewhere and  perhaps they were active on another community before this or their job gives them professional knowledge to share.

Im just unsure exactly what kinds of prior knowledge you think people have.  Could you give us some specific examples of what you mean?

Newbies can sometimes be new in the forum but not new already about bitcoin. They might be exposed with bitcoin before that’s why they were aware already on its own feature and how it should be utilized at its maximum level. But engaging in the forum despite of its rank or position has certainly add more new information and insights to his stock knowledge about bitcoin, the reason why it’s easy for them to come up with intelligent answers since bitcoin itself is not new anymore to them.

Some people actually have crypto knowledge before joining the forum, and they just come here to expand their knowledge. Some come here to both learn and share what they already know. There are also those who are good at coding and who are also trying to share their ideas with others in the forum. It all depends on what the person has to offer.
