after jp morgan chase negative report about bitcoin here it come once again the arabian prince alwaleed bin talal
that he doesn't believe in this thing at all and it will someday explode.
so i would like to know your respective opinions on this matter and how it will affect bitcoin on the long and short term

These statements have a power to discourage bitcoin users for short term, however, I didn't see any long term effect on bitcoin's price from such comments. JPM CEO Jemie is a powerful person in financial world, so the market reacted to his statement just as envisaged. However, the moment people realized that how false that statement is, the market came back to normal in no time.

I didn't know about the statement of Arabian price, but I can see that the market didn't react at all. No impact on bitcoin price at all. However, I am unable to see any reason behind his statement about bitcoin. banking business is directly affected by bitcoin and hence Jemie's statement was there for a reason. But Arab's business is Oil which doesn't have any co-relation with bitcoin. So that's absurd!

In the 1980s, there used to be anti-drug PSAs by a whole bunch of celebrities.   Look how well that worked for drug abuse.  Point being, celebrities don't have the influence they think they do, at least not with people who have brains and use them.

And I would suggest that the market is speaking for itself here, and it's contrary to these famous naysayers.   J Dimon, W. Buffett, and the rest of them are entitled to their opinions, but their words aren't going to affect the market much.  So don't worry about the hate from the likes of them.

Just let them be on the things that they do like to say regarding on bitcoin. They might give some impacts but wont really be permanent.Knowing if theres some new regarding on famous peoples opinions about bitcoin. It did somehow react on the pricec but not totally affecting which would cause such dip price. Criticism is always welcome but us bitcoin users do really know its capacity and capability.

Negative criticism from famous people? As far as I have seen, most famous people are all for cryptocurrencies.

It will not affect bitcoin at all because a lot of people have witnessed how bitcoin grew and how many issues it had faced since it started. So, I really think nothing can bring down bitcoin. Just look at how many hard forks and new coins they tried to beat bitcoin.

As it's an speculative asset, each and every comment along with the predictions put forth by the experts will surely affect the bitcoin community as a whole. This is the one that keeps the value of bitcoin fluctuating and provide us with different earning opportunities unlike other methods of singing.

Absolutely no effect, at all. Bitcoin is what it is and what people outside its ecosystem (and arguably anyone) think doesn't matter.
Especially when those people are in any way related to centralized financial institutions, it really damages their credibility because Bitcoin is a threat to them.
for some reason those negative criticism bring a much better exposure for this system as many popular person to made their statement as it was
been advertised freely so the effect still in a positive side people awareness and start to like how the system will gives them profits, we should look
at it as a good way for saving your future.
