I've noticed the same when swapping out a card, I'll change one card and all six end up with different adapter numbers.
Wattool profiles seem to still work if the number is off by only one, but anything more than that and the profile files need to be updated to the new number

Yea. I wonder if we can put number ourselfs?

Do not connect with RDP, it changes the numbering. Connect with vnc and see the correct numbering Smiley

This is windows.

The numbering never changes.

What do you mean connect by VNC? if I connect by VNC will the numbers look different or the number become different?

Also even if I connect monitor directly the numbering is what I see in RDP

any body knows?

It'll be nice if my index number is 0,6,12,18,24,30 instead

I saw many people having nice numbering

0,6,12,18,24, 30

I never get that nice number

Can we change numbering?

After reinstalling driver I got

0,6,12,18,24,48

I am using watttool to mine ethereum and this is a common problem for virtually all ethereum miner. I am not sure if it belongs here of course.

I reinstall my AMD driver and the indexes for watttool changes.

Before its'

0,2,8,14,20,36

Now,

It's

0,6,12,18,24,30
