I have never bought Bitcoin, when I entered into bitcoins, I was earning from faucets till it became messy.
I switched over to doing tasks online for BTC payment, on this forum from services to bounties and campaigns.
Now, I'm into trading.

Experienced that also dude and its very wrecking to see the earnings at the end of the day thats why I stop to used faucet then go buy bitcoins bia bank transfer to the people I know online but I just do it one time since I managed to keep my bought btc roll and its pretty much good now since its volume is increasing day by day since im lucky to have a good trades on certain exchange.

Now, when the price dropped, it is a good time to buy.
I also use CEX.io for a while. No issues so far, quick credit card deposits and easy buy. But they are a bit more expensive than other exchanges.

I use sites and services that don't require identification to buy Bitcoin. It's just not safe to upload confidential identification online since it's exactly what a criminal needs and you have no idea how well it is secured.

I tend to use Localbitcoins.com and Yobit.net but most of the time I trade with my friends, who also like to use cryptocurrency.

I can see now that Bitcoin hits historic all time highs, I think is about time I buy myself a few.

Best way to buy bitcoins is local market. Now local market can be individuals, company, organization or even your friend. It is far easy to buy btc there with local money. For example, I live in India and can easy buy bitcoins from local companies like Unocoin which sell bitcoins through sites and apps.

Local market are the best way to buy bitcoin since it can make us safe from scammers who are wondering around here and also here in philippines our local wallet provider is super flexible since they allow us to buy some bitcoins via bank transfer,7-connect deposit, money transfer and many more, And this kind of wallet should really need to find by all of us here so that we will not be deceived by dickheads outthere, But sad to say coins.ph wallet is only applicable for filipino users only.

That is not wise to buy bitcoins at it's historical maxumum. Yes, bitcoin will raise even higher than 3000$ no doubt, but on your place I would wait for some seriouse drop in the price. Well, in the case if money is not a problem to you there is no matter when to buy bitcoins, isn't it?
I tried to buy bitcoins like a half year ago on YoBit, but this try got failed and, I don't know what happend, in a short word - the deal wasn't proved and I got back my money. After that I didn't try to buy even a little amount of mBTCs.

I can see now that Bitcoin hits historic all time highs, I think is about time I buy myself a few.
While buying bitcoin seems like is a good idea you should have bought months ago when the price was a lot lower than this, at this price many are doubtful to buy since the price is so high at the moment and while the rally may continue that is not something we can be sure.
This is the same as saying that you either enthered on day one, or you shouldnt. You can see several examples in the past 12 months that probably we all are still early birds and BTC will go even higher. With high and lows on the way of course. Around june it was 600 and when i went to 800 there were people saying it was dangerous to get in. Then came the new year and 1000 and fears of a massive sell. I see very high values, but the market his vast and bitcoin is being used in real life transactions. So, to answer your question i personaly use localbitcoins and coinbase.
That was not my intention, I think the value of bitcoin can go extremely high during our lives but at the same time we need to be smart and try to enter the market when the price is lower than in the previous months, it is obvious that  it was not possible because of the rally, but I think right now is the perfect time to buy, the price has been more or less stable and we are far from an all time high so if you invest now you could make both short term and long term profits.

I agree with you it seems that this time is the right time to buy bitcoin, in the hope of the next few months or years bitcoin prices will increase, so we can benefit

I'm not buying bitcoins currently, but if I would need to buy, I would use my country local exchange. I just need to deposit some money from my bank account and exchange fiat to bitcoins. I wouldn't buy bitcoins with me credit card, because high fee would be charged.

That is what I do too. I buy using cash deposits to buy from a local exchange, this is really the easiest way and they don't charge a lot of fees. All they charge is exchange fees, well not really fees. It's basically the sell price is higher than the buy price similar to foreign exchangers.
Well for now i am not using the bank to buy bitcoins we have here in my country instant way to buy bitcoin in no time..
And there is no fee you don't need to pay for additional when you are buying bitcoins here instantly they are still depending on the market price. that is why its good to buy bitcoins here in my country.

Localbitcoins is good only if you're planning to hold for a long time. Their prices are usually 5% above the going price.
I'm in Europe, so I prefer to use an established, well known exchange like btc-e. Never had any problems with them and their level of anonymity is decent. There's always a risk, but someone could say that when buying on localbitcoins you can get robbed at gunpoint, so the risk is everywhere, just on a different level.

First of all it's good to see that you are buying btc because many people out there don't realize how good a thing bitcoin is and they ignore all the advice bit coiners give them, and look at the price now, they've just missed out on the chance to make over 500% of their investment over less than one year.

You should always look out for scams out here especially when trading P2P.

Exchanges i recommend would be Coinbase, wesellcrypto if you just want to get your hands on a few dollars worth and don't want to verify yourself when just buying $10, virwox(high fees but no verification and higher limits than wesellcrypto), and localbitcoins.

You could try Bitcoin ATMs if there are anx in your town or city. The cost is not really fair sometimes, but it is easy to use and buy Bitcoins, you can also sell them there. There are ATMs pretry much everywhere so it will be easy to find one. You could also try some sites that sell Bitcoins and pay with a credit card.

Good for you that have friends that use crypto as well, my friends while very smart are very smart ass when ii comes to this kind of things, they think they know it all, I have tried to show them the benefits of bitcoin but they keep avoiding it, it is  their loss so the only way I can get my hand on bitcoin is though localbitcoins and I need to pay a premium for the service.

I do buy bitcoin using my bank account i do that for my investment, i just want to earn money using my own money and this is the great way to make us rich and make our self our boss of all the time.
Bitcoin is great opportunity to have more money in the future and i think we do not need to waste the time to make some investment on it.
I also do the same thing, buy bitcoin with BANK account becomes more trusted. Besides that we can also do these transactions with many exchanges that exist in our country. We can adjust the rates as well as the state of the exchange.

I buy directly from wallets. The wallet is embedded with payments options such as credit card, net banking and even demand drafts available as option. I usually go for net banking which has fast transaction time. So that when price is low for bitcoin I can buy immediately. On top of this I have some of the percentage stored on wallet itself which I use when I am in rush.  Smiley

Long term it can only go up, so he should be safe. Short term, there could be a small retraction but it all depends whether he wants to be crypto investor or speculator.
If he is willing to hold long term then you are correct but if there is a price correction that is big enough that tends to scare investors and then they sell for a loss, that is why sometimes is better to wait if you can get a better price, this can be counter productive too, since someone that bought a month ago has earnings and if that person waited then he will need to buy at these higher prices.

Well if only you decided to buy in previous months maybe you are enjoying the price increase right now, but I think it is still a good time to buy few bitcoins as its price seems to be getting more higher . If you are going to buy there are many well-known exchanges just like what people are suggesting to you Grin
I guess there will be zero possibilities for missing opportunities to enjoy bitcoin growth progress as bitcoin is expected to grow on continuously at least for next 100 to 125 years. So never need to regret for not acting last month itself. Anyone can buy bitcoins now to hold for next 5 years to enjoy their decisions of buying bitcoins at least now.

Honestly I am not buying bitcoins but I do earn it by various methods. One of the significant method must be trading. I was a forex trader, but right now I am stitching only male dress.

A trusted place certainly can make us comfortable to transact. I prefer localbitcoins so we can get exchange that is in our country. If something happens that is not desired then we can easily to process it. Today many companies provide such services, and they are legally registered in the country where the company is located.

Lol OP asks something in the title and says another thing in his/her post, in my honest and humble opinion any time at any price you buy Bitcoin you will definitely win big time, do not pay attention when you see people talking about crashes and free falls, if the big whales want to dump their limited accessible supply of coins then let them do it and when you pick their dumps then you don't do the same mistake as them and just hodl.

I sell and buy only from a local exchange with my local currency but unfortunately I have to pay $7500 for 1 Bitcoin.
It doesn't work like you think, I know $7500 is too much but due to unlawful and unfair sanctions on my country when I work the same amount of time as some body in another country while they're getting paid for example $10 per hour then naturally I would get the same pay rate but that person if could buy a pizza with $15 I would've had to pay $45 because it costs that much for the shop to buy the ingredients and make the pizza.

He is asking for "How do you buy your Bitcoins" so this answer is unrelevant guys. But since the OP is happy so that's okay I guess.

I'm usually buy it from my local exchanges because they are trustful and the transaction always fast and instant with the competitive rates so it will be better to check out the merchants on your country for great rates.

I can buy bitcoins on same source where I sell it, there is a guy that sell/buy bitcoins and litecoins and he is very trustworthy. For now I only have one way transactions with him, I just send him bitcoins and he pay me directly on my bank account, when I wish yo buy it's just otherwise.
Buying/selling bitcoins on local level have advantages, he always fo that on current price with little fee and that's it, ATM's have higher fee like some online exchanges.

Are you thing there is big fees to sell out the bitcoins. Actually if you see the Google chart value and exchange you will be able to get higher about than that. Therefore fees need not to consider a big thing. I hope you selling out your bitcoin to local trader who is trust to you but it will not work for all the people.  escrows will be able to help you in these kind of cases.

I can see now that Bitcoin hits historic all time highs, I think is about time I buy myself a few.

I never buy bitcoins but i earn them from this forum, their are so many activities if you go through then you can also earn free bitcoins better then buying it as right now the price is going high day by day so cannot say about buying is good right now or not.
How do you earn Bitcoins on this forum? I might try that as well

That will be in very small quantity, may be just 0.001 per week for a newbie. You can try in signature campaigns and social media campaigns and bounties if altcoins where you have to advertise or translate.
You can even sell your services here on the forum for bitcoins. If you are talented in whatever you want to sell then there is a great possibility of earning good amount of Bitcoins.
Thanks for the advice, I guess its worth trying

Yes it is worth trying, as your rank increases and quality of your posts, the price increases. For ex a hero member can earn 0.025BTC per week by giving quality opinions to other members of the forum.

I always buy them from Bitpanda.com as their fees are normal compared to other sites. They only need an email verification to give you the limit to buy up to 1000 euro worth of bitcoins daily without compromising your identity. This service is available only to people living in Europe though, but this can be bypassed easily with a VPN from Europe if you want to buy from them. I buy with Skrill or Paypal, they also accept Amazon gift cards I know.
The website you provided is good one as well, Thanks

I buy them from Cex.io with my credit card. It is a bit risky activity but i had no problems till now. If you worry about your security you can always create a virtual card and dump it away after you buy your stuff. They have been around for a while and i haven't seen any serious complaints about them. You should also mind that, cex.io sells bitcoins a bit more pricey than the other exchanges and they charge you around %3 if you use your credit card. Your total premium cost will be around %10 in the end. Still not bad.
How is it risky

i personally buy my bitcoins mainly from localbitcoins because it's safe, anonymous and easy. Literally all you need to do to get your coins is to open a trade, you know you're not going to get scammed as long as you follow the instructions because the coins are held in escrow while you make the deposit, you transfer the coins to the seller and the seller releases.

It's simple as that. No need for KYC or AML requirements. It's pure P2P trade that bitcoin was designed for.

Anyways good luck with buying your first coins, it's always exciting. However this thread probably better belongs in the trading discussions forum.
Thanks for the advice

Cex.io for smaller purchases, quite fast and reliable service. However, their rate can be a bit higher compared to market average so it s only convenient for smaller amounts. Larger amounts, to tell u the truth, I have no idea. Probably Coinbase or Bitstamp which require full verification.

It is very simple to buy bitcoins in my country, I can pay in a 7-11 store nearby and the bitcoins will instantly get credited to my account, not sure how it works on other countries but i can say it is really easy for us to buy some coins, specially when i have some extra fiat to spend Smiley

I buy through a local Bitcoin exchange, but I prefer to use people I have met at Bitcoin meetups. When you spend time with people every week and you share a few beers with them, you build some kind of trust relationship. We have regular Bitcoin meetups and the locations have very good CCTV, so I make sure that I have some CCTV footage of the people I trade with. ^smile^

I always reduce my risk, by buying in small quantities. You do not want to carry a lot of cash or advertise that you have a lot of money in the bank, by doing electronic bank transfers. < This will make you a target >

I agree with you that localbitcoins is best, as the security measures of this exchange is high and very safe to trade it. Even some time you will get the high rate from the users who are in need of bitcoin in urgent.

I was directed to localbitcoins for the buying of bitcoin. This is good and available in most of the countries. Based on our locality we can buy from the traders who quote different price based upon their profit margin.

I often buy them in person from a guy. I value my anonymity and this is in some ways more anonymous than buying from an online site, because you meet in the street you give him hard cash and he just sends BTC to your address from say an ipad, and does it right in front of you. No trace of the purchase is left, everything is done there on the street without electronic logs or anything. In the end the only thing that can be traced is a simple BTC transaction between two addresses which might as well be a spontaneous gift you've received from a random internet stranger.
