I'm the owner of e-commerce and it's important for me that my clients are informed about the stage at which the processing of their order is. Therefore, I have been looking for a convenient mail service for transactional letters for a long time. On one of the forums, I saw a discussion of one of the mail services, which has a high degree of security and many useful functions that help me in managing my online store and automate the process of informing customers about the readiness of an order. I can share with you this link https://mailazy.com/ to the site of this mail service, perhaps you will also be interested in this too.

How do you choose a secure email provider? What do you look for?

Or are you not too worried about it and just go with the usual Gmail, etc.?

Google is fked up for privacy, I'd suggest protonmail
I heard this protonmail since last year from a friend , is this really safe ?and what features this has as advantage over Gmail or Ymail?
Besides encrypted service, as @DeathAngel said, I think the services are almost the same as the other email provider.

I think if we use our mobile phone, we use Gmail to get the services. But we can also install Yahoo or other email providers if we want. The important is how we can protect our email, no matter what email provider we use.
Actually  what we are looking here is the safe Email provider and not just random mate because that is our main concern if we are protected in the Email we are creating because the provider itself can cheat us if we will not look for safer one.
So far, I use Gmail for my mobile phone, Yahoo mail, Hotmail from a long time ago and I do not have any problem. Those email providers really take care of their customer's emails, and they always serve the best for them. I am satisfied to use all of those email providers. As long as we use a strong password that we remember, we will be okay.

Yes, google is bad and will be getting worse in coming years. Google will give away access to your mails if pressured. It happened recently with some heroin dealer on the dark web. But I suspect it can happen to some lower profile cases.

As others said, protonmail is good, but if pressured they used to collaborate with law enforcement.

Email is not really a good protocol for communication if you are looking for privacy. Look for something else IMHO.

If you want privacy and security, you need your own email server. Period.

The free email providers have been censoring a lot of emails containing website links and keywords that big tech and msm has labeled "conspiracy" so if you want to get ALL your email delivered look elsewhere. If I remember correctly, Protonmail doesn't allow website links at all.

I choose an email provider based on other people's reviews, if Gmail gets a lot of positive reviews and is used by most people.
Of course I chose Gmail for my use, although it must be admitted that Gmail has many weaknesses. But as long as the weakness is
not too annoying when we use it, I will ignore the weakness.

protonmail.com is pretty good, it’s an encrypted service, I’ve never had any negative experiences with them & I’ve been using them for years. Stay away from mainstream providers like Google.

So when you use Gmail or Yahoo or Protonmail or AOL, you do not need to fill with your real identity because you have your own decision. You can activate high security for your email so you do not need to worry if your email account will get hacked by someone. You can create many emails and use them for different reasons. By doing that, you will be safer from the bad things.

Protonmail is a popular email provider for those who wants privacy. As for me, I'm with gmail and I'm just fine with the issue with them.

I can easily get some access to the websites that I use and can easily connect it to my gmail if there's a requirement for registration.

From the reviews of the existing users? It is the most viable solution to pick the right email service provider for your needs. If you are using Google products then its okay to go with gmail to access playstore and other common stuffs, but if you are looking for privacy and don't want anyone to know what is happening in your email account then best is to go with the premium based email service like proton mail.
