Trading can be very stressful and a trader need to get tools that will reduce there stress rate and time the will be spent on analysing the market. I don't spend plenty of time  on trading cos I have robot that trade for me which makes everything easier for me with stress. I know how it feels like looking at charts Everytime just to see the possible move of price at every interval.
And how do you deal with the stress? Obviously your bot is one way to do so but even then the stress can accumulate just because you lost several trades in a row even if you were not looking at the charts, do you use meditation, spend time with your family or just enjoy one of your hobbies? I ask because it is really important to learn how to deal with the stress because even the good traders that are earning money in the markets end up getting tired of it and quit because of the stress.

How do you cope with the stress of trading?
This is not stressful if you know what you are doing , this is not far from stocks trading or in your own entered business.
that if you have only limited knowledge then expect stress here and there.

Best to limit only your trading since you are starter, don't push too much and dont invest too big.

Just learn stage by stage and not instantly operating to risk your funds.
I am not so sure that I agree, even if you are an expert trader and you know exactly what you are doing trading is still one of the most stressful activities there are, you need to watch the markets for several hours each day waiting for an opportunity window that will only last for a few minutes and in extreme cases just some seconds, and if you fail to make your trade during that window you missed the opportunity or even lost money because of it, to me that is incredibly stressful even if you are a profitable trader.

Taking a pause after making a mistake will save you from being stressed and caught in making another mistake, as I've found that making a mistake causes my brain to think less clearly than before. A mistake would lead to another, and the tension would build up. As a result, taking a break is necessary to renew the mind.

One thing is certain about trading, it's stressful and can get emotional if one isn't lucky. But some things I have learnt over the years is losses will always be part of trading and you have to accept this and try to understand why you lost that trade to try and avoid the same mistake from happening again.

Sometimes in trading people lose not because they don't know what they are doing but because they are not in their right state of mind, say for example a relationship break up or intoxication which could cloud your judgment. To give your self a chance at winning trade when you don't have a lot going on in your mind.

Does nobody here have netflix account or something? I mean we are talking about stress and nobody suggests netflix, or amazon prime, or whatever. Just keep on doing something that every other person does to chill. What does a miner do to chill after mining? What does a doctor do? What does an accountant do? What does a chef do?

The same answer of all those people trying to avoid stress and calm down is the same answer for a trader as well. Obviously every person relaxes differently, if you want to actually relax then you have to end up doing something you enjoy, some people like to go to plays on broadway or whatever, that sounds as boring as it gets for me and I wouldn't relax that way but some other person could be refreshed and start working the next day. So do what you like doing to relax, and keep on doing that just like any other business, trading is no different.

YES, it is bloody stressful trading sometimes!
Now, I need to preface this by saying that I am a principal in this company. But I've also been a trader for over 20 years. I make the decision of which coin to invest in myself. But then I run my company's RMaaS - Risk Management as a Service models on my exchange account. We've been using these models since 2017 on company money and Panxora has just launched this service that has models that add value to about 30 liquid markets including BTC, ETH, ADA, SOL, UNI and so on.
To give you an example, I was staking most of my ADA leaving about 100 so I could see what RMaaS wanted to do. On September 6, the models started selling ADA and buying USD so I unstaked all my ADA, which the RMaaS models hedged in USD at an average price of $2.78. For 2 weeks it wasn't so obvious that this was a a good choice. But I have to tell you I felt so much better this morning knowing that as ADA fell off a cliff I was all in USD. A quick look at my calculator and IF the models wanted to get back in here (and they don't. They are still totally FLAT) I could buy 30% more ADA than the system sold 2 weeks ago! If you think how frequently bitcoin falls off a cliff - 40% down in May 2021 and now coming off again, risk management can make a considerable difference to your holdings.
Right now, we're looking for feedback on the User Experience, so you can use RMaaS on your existing bitfinex or kraken account without a license fee. All I ask you to do is provide the team with useful feedback on making the experience easier for clients.
Oh, and there's also the basket trading / ETF Creator service. This just ticks along making money as models keep the cryptos you hold in alignment as the relative prices move up and down.
I really hope some people will find this useful and it destresses their trading lives.

If it makes you feel like trading is a stressful way why not just take up futures trading? You don't need to watch price movements for 24 hours and save sales. Because crypto trading is not to stress you out, but to teach patience in dealing with markets that are not always on top. So while this can be simplified, don't make it difficult.
Futures trading must be done carefully even though it doesn't take long but the futures work system is the same as part-time trading.  well, is it better to run futures trading with a bot or manually?

How do you cope with the stress of trading?

Stop trading.  Buy/Hold.  Don't look at charts daily and watch thrlugh the years as your position increases.  I mean people make good money trading but there are plenty that get wiped out.
Good advise because most of us fails as the market starts to make drop and we become panicking meaning that if we don't check amrket constantly then we will just let this go and maybe in the next day of checking the value already recovered.

this is the problem if the trader don't have the guts and understanding deeply as the ending always be in desperation .

HODL so you won't be stressed anymore.

How do you cope with the stress of trading?
At first i am not really into day trading activity but i know it is stressful especially it is like we forced to gain profit everyday and in a short time of trading activity, maybe sometimes change our trading style into mid or maybe long term investment so we not must to see market every hour or maybe every minute and then set a target in what price we want to sell our coins. Spend money to ourself, to gain our happines is not a wrong thing because we do trading is to gain profit not losses.

How do you cope with the stress of trading?
Just dont pressure yourself and learn on how to deal with different situation. It is also better to set aside your emotion because it can lead you to committing a decision that you might regret. As long as you fill your mind with knowledge about trading then you're aware of the possible scenario that can happen. Sometimes losing is inevitable but dont let yourself be affected because there are still chance to gain. Have patience because all your effort will be paid off in time.

Trading is very stressful but you need to know what you are doing. Always try to get the best strategy or work with people that are having good history or better understanding about the market so that you can learn from them not just depending on yourself a lone. Try to read trading books to understand more.

Berterending is indeed a very stressful thing, but with a calm and patient attitude stress and panic can be overcome even though it is a little difficult, this case is often experienced by greedy people in trading, and in my opinion it is very natural to happen because of losses, I personally experience this  then I overcome it by taking a vacation with my family, and if I feel calm and comfortable then I will start trending again,
What are you saying mate Huh, I myself am very confused in understanding the words you say, if I may I know what is "trending" and why you suddenly start trending? What are your other professions as an artist or actor? then how can you relate it to Stress, Panic, Patience and Calm Huh

Almost everyone has been in a stressful position because of trading, especially after making a mistake that caused a loss. I think it's a natural thing experienced by traders but it all depends on us how we can get out of the zone so that we don't fall into the same mistakes and emotions. I personally prefer to leave the market and anything related to trading for a few days before starting again calmly. it is very difficult indeed but it must be done to avoid bad things happen.
Good thing some traders manage to control the stress but for some too, its very hard to avoid it. But one thing i can assure, stress will come and go normally. But it will also be a good idea if you can take some measures so you won't end up totally in loss.

I actually go out of town for some days so i won't have to deal with stress anymore. Its like having your me time so you can unwind and think of possibilities that can divert your interest. And once you're ready again to trade, come back and start being productive again.

Never push ourself, trading is something that need us to be calm. If we panic or in a hurry condition, sometimes it can cause us to do reckless thing and made wrong decision. And we trading not all use to be our capital, we withdraw some money to daily life and maybe get a vacation. In vacation if we want we still can trading too, there are a lot of sites that mobile friendly and we can trade anywhere as long we have internet connection.

Many individuals do not like to leave that area, they raise their tension higher and their bigotry is relieved only when the results of the problem are revealed, this is the regular behavior of quite a few traders facing a market crash, praying and staying up all night then looking at the chart to see a good move but it's something that rarely happens. On the day of receiving the results, the heart almost constricted and hidden in the lifeless eyes were regrets about taking delayed actions, set stop loss and forced to leave when stressed, don't hide the market images in your brain too much, easy to lose control

There are things that should not be greedy but become wasted.  Greed is the psychology of emotions generated by the trader, placing too many shorts or the profit rate too high also causes damage.  Stress symptoms only occur when you're in a loss-making state, limiting decision-making in that state.  Or when you win, reduce the excitement and greed.  It is recommended to set trading criteria or follow the discipline to control trading profits/losses with a limit.  Do not exceed necessary.
Excitement is totally fine to experience when you are seeing your trades about to win and you are projecting high profit.
And the impact of it oppositely is difficult which make a trader stressful and for one to overcome it has to control and do not be too expectant with their trades.

Firstly I think if you are new to trading then you will be in lot of stress but as experience comes I don't think this problem is going to happen because as time go by you seen all market strategy, any coin can come in profit if the buying happens at high price so experienced traders is know when to buy and what to buy. After all the conditions if coins falls and you are stress then remember these words put that money in crypto that you can afford to loose, this can happens.
Nah, I think most experienced traders still suffer from stress during trading but the difference is that they are so used to it compared to the new ones. But they do know when to stop and when to start to avoid too much stress because that would cause their trading strategy to fail hence the emotions should not be involved.

The OP should need more time to cope up with the market and adjust its body if he/she wants to continue trading without carrying too much stress. And I think the internet has their own methods to cope up stress everytime you are about to bust in the market.

First off: only invest with money that you are willing too loose. I think you need define a trading style and stick to it. When I have 100% profit in one coin, I always cash out 50% of it; in this way you get your initial amount back and the rest is free money.
You did the right thing of taking the cash and getting the profit because it's why we're trading. If you don't go for the profit and you're just holding it as an altcoin and hoping for the highest price that it may get, you might miss the opportunity of that coin to be sold at the top. And this can lead to stress which is hard to bear because you're going to feel bad and that stress will stay maybe for a day or two or more.

When the market is declining and you believe in a project, than it is the moment to buy.
Always research and check the project if it's still worth even if you believe it before buying.

Even those optimized techniques will be upheld on your trading application, there's no impossible thing but all probability will result into good outcome. But avoiding to become greedy was too hard, that's why coping with stress was very hard so it needs proper management of our emotions so stress will be beatin. There's a lot of diversions that can be effective, it can be your family bonding, going to vacation and sports will help us release all tensions made by pressures in trading.

That is really stressful when you are not comfortable with this. So no wonder why many had come but later one, they leave with regrets as it was because they don't fully understand what they are doing. If only you have such passion and motivation towards trading, you'll never find yourselves being stressful but instead, you were happy.

The only thing I could say is that to assess yourselves, never think that all are going to become a trader. No, and might you're not. That is why, if you feel stressful then must have to say that we don't need to force ourselves to do it as this will only end up nothing but just losses.

Don't just spend time in front of the screen, sometimes if I feel tired with market movements, it's better to go find other entertainment, maybe talking with friends or girlfriends can add new enthusiasm again.
I think that a way to deal with the stress is to think of trading as just another job, for example I have heard stories of people that were trading all the time and even had their accounts set to send alarms to their phones if something important was happening, so those people never got a good night of sleep and were always tired and eventually burned out and left trading, if you want to last a long time as a trader then you need to set a limit of 8 hours per day when you will trade and any movement that happens while you are not in front of the screen needs to be ignored.

Don't stick to one trading style all the time to cope with the stress of trading learn more about investing money and trading by experimenting with different styles of trading instead never follow an expert trading style. This does not mean that your trading style will bring the same financial rewards as them  having a defined system or trading style will benefit you in learning how to make more money and make more trading profits.

First off: only invest with money that you are willing too loose. I think you need define a trading style and stick to it. How do you cope with the stress of trading?

Only really disciplined people can withstand the work of a trader. It is difficult to cope with emotions when you don’t have a specific strategy, so you trade depending on the situation. This way, your emotions will drive your decisions and it is more likely that you will lose eventually. So my recipe for stress is a strategy made up both on your own experience and mistakes and on experience of other traders.

How do you cope with the stress of trading?
You can try to reduce your time to trade by managing how long you should trade and no matter what the result is, you should follow your rule and stop trading when your time is up.
Do not force yourself to watch the market movements, especially if you feel tired because trading will consume your energy and time, so taking a break will reduce your tension.
Even if you think you can analyze the coin, it does not mean you can make a profit since the coin price movement can not be predicted so it is better to calm down and not rush to decide.
But the important thing that you should be concerned about is taking a break from trading after you trade for some time.

In trading of course we must feel stress when all the coins we buy do not reach the maximum target even we experience losses, then the way to relieve stress we have to stop trading for a few days and we still have to monitor the state of the market at that time, if we have found coins that are worth investing in then at that time we just trade again, and we must be relaxed in the face of market situations that are always changing at all times so that we do not cause stress.

What is really stressful about trading? To be honest I never experience stress when it comes to trading because I always think optimistically when there is a price drop
everyone has different hours of trading time, and also different levels of mental strength, bro. Don't compare yourself to other people because they are not the same. There are many factors that make people experience stress or fatigue in trading and they should be avoided.
Yeah, there are other factors which do really add up some stress and its true that it is truly different on each person and that different levels of mental strength is actually i do really believe on.
Some might be already be stressful and some arent really that minding much because they can able to handle it out despite of such condition. There are indeed lots of factors that could affect
you and since trading is unpredictable specially with the price then it is something that could create that confusion and questions in mind which neither you can handle it off or not
when exposed on very long hours of trade.Having a break is a must!

Trading has always its risk associated in it and of course the stress that it will caused. And i know most of the traders have hard time avoiding stress so if they can't deal with it, then it would be very unhealthy to continue trading.

I have been dealing with stress lately and i must say i had come to conquer it. I think getting a break from trading is really a good idea to avoid being exhausted. Have fun with the good people around and never stop yourself from enjoying just because you failed in trading. Do the things that will help you forget about trading for a while. Divert your mind into some other interesting activities that will relieve all the stress in your life. And when you think you are ready again to trade, start trading with more positivity in mind.

How do you cope with the stress of trading?

It's hard to cope up with stress when you don't know how to handle pressures during fluctuations of market. But in order to survive, we need to overcome all those factors that hinder you success.
What I wanted to recommend those who still struggle on trading at worst situation, is that they should focus on their goals and don't let fears be overthrown by unwanted circumstances.

Just like what most have said, taking a break is way to manage stress induced from trading. It is always helpful to stake a step back and breathe, especially after a stressful encounter with trading results. Sometimes being too eager to make good results again and to regain losses makes it more hostile and van even lead to more damaging outcomes because the mind can be clouded due to emotions.

Trading can be demanding on your mental health,  emotional state and affect your relationship.  Therefore,  a decision must be made before hand so you could curtail your own exceses! I de-stress from trading by taking out time with my family and doing things we enjoy together.  I also like to listen to music,  I guess music releases my dopamin and make me feel relaxed before trading again!

Take a break. Sometimes if you’re having a tough time a break is the best thing for you.

Trading wise. if you’re feeling stress or going through a rough patch reduce your size. Trading big every time does gets stressful.
We can not deny that trading can make us stress for some time, especially if we are losing some money. Only taking a break can reduce the stress so we can analyze better than before when we back to the market. If you think that sleep can help you to reduce stress, just try to sleep and forget everything for a while. Besides sleep, you can do other things that you think can reduce your stress so hopefully, you can refresh your mind.

I think that trading is one of the most stressful things.
It is a rollercoaster of emotions and if you do not have an outlet, you will make some mistakes easily.
How do you cope with the stress of trading?
1. Stop when you are already being compulsive
2. When you dont know on what you are doing or doesnt really end up on having any strategies in mind
3. Distract yourself on something which could make you calm.
4. Go back in trading when you had already calmed yourself

Whenever you do get yourself some experience on this market then you would eventually learn up for you to handle your emotion as you do go by.
Yes, it will be hard to control our emotions when trading at first but we will learn to handle them as time goes by. Trading can end up a stressful thing if we keep on making losses rather than expecting to make profits. And it will never be avoided for sure because if you become a trader, expect things that are not on your plan and losing is really a big part of it.

But we all have different way on how to conquer it. I personally take a break from trading when things becomes so hard to make profits and so i just leave trading and come back only when my mind is already at peace. Most of the time, i enjoy having a good talk with my family and friends and do some refreshing activities and after that, i'm ready for trading again.
Having a break is always been suggested because trading is indeed a stressful thing and on the time i do experience stress and anger then i do play some games specially e-sports or mmropg.

On this way i do really ease up myself and able to go back in track with calm and relax mind and it is much better if you do have this kind of control because if you do proceed on trades

with having that distracted mind because of emotion then you would really be experiencing more mistakes which should really be avoided.

depending on how often you stay looking at the chart. or do the same thing over and over again. I am now more like passive trade and holder so maybe only few time a day i see crypto chart and only few minutes read news about crypto. too often look at the chart also makes people greedy . what is stressful is when you look at the chart every minute.

Nowadays im stop trading since its stressful and not worthy anymore. I prefer staking and compounding with many options on DeFi platform. Its steadily increasing my portfolio without take any stress anymore, also its a bit fun to do compounding everyday. U can also combining it with LP Providing which have more APY, but make sure u learn about the risk of impermanent loss first.

Just don't expect profits all the time because once your mindset is like that, you will never be stress in times you get losses. Trading may require the best of us to make profits but we know we can't do that all the time. Crypto market is very unpredictable and so as trading crypto outcome too.

I personally have my own leisure time too wherein i get off from in front of my monitor and enjoy the things that has nothing to do with trading anymore. Trading is really stressful so you need to divert your mind somehow in things that will make you more refresh.
I play PC games for that, it is really a great feeling to just let things go and have fun as much as you want when you get the time. I haven't had the time lately but normally whenever I have the time I end up playing games, it really gives me perspective on what really matters and what doesn't. There are things in life that are very valuable but not important at all. For example many people are supporting a sport club, which is very valuable, you should be fan of a sports team because it gives you a great feeling when you win and upset when you lose, it is like threatening really.

But, it is not important at all, if soccer was gone tomorrow, world would not be a worse place, wouldn't be a better place neither, it would change literally nothing (maybe some super rich soccer players would not be rich). Crypto trading is exactly that, I already have my job, crypto trading is not my income, I could stop tomorrow and it would not matter to me at all, nothing in my life changes. So I started to use it like a PC game, valuable but not important.

I am not in to trading for more than 2 years now, so i think i have no big points to share here but wayback when i was still trading , Only Bottle of Beer and a Live football Game is what my stress reliever .

and also bonding with my wife and Son ? they are enough for me to take the the stress out.

do other things that can make you forget trading for a while, usually I hang out with my friends in a cafe, watch a movie, or go on vacation but the last option costs a lot so I suggest 1 and 2 only.
What i did in the past as i found this very stressful ? i stopped trading instead i start to invest for long term small amount at a time.

now at least i can see my profit each year or more.

How do you cope with the stress of trading?
Never put 100% of your expectation into this business , meaning trade with limitation and small expectation , never seek for too much profit instead just put your profit into 20-40% that is basically the practical income for you not to be more stressed in trading.

The longer you stare at the screen, the more stress you get. Trading is not an easy task, technical analysis alone is not enough. If you can't control your emotions, you will definitely make mistakes and lose money.
You need to both follow closely and distract your mind. In order to achieve this, watching series, playing games or going out can be good options. Also, beware of people who make fud Cheesy

I've mentioned it several times on the forum already, but I will repeat that the best way to cope with stress is to set a goal. Even though I'm not a frequent trader, I use that tactics all the time and it helps.

For example I've bought Waves when the price was a bit higher than $3 in 2018. Set a goal that I will sell it only with profit and waited nearly 2 years till the price recovered to $3. Even though I have sold it in the beginning of the growth at $5, I was happy with it. And even missed opportunity to sell it at $30 does not bother me.

What i do from coping stress from Bitcoin is playing mobile games  Grin, and also i do not put my entire time on trading, i checked my trades 2 times a day, in morning and ones in evening.
+1 this is another good choice.

Doing things that not involved any trading or not about trading or markets is the best way. Especially doing things off the screen, not in front of your monitor or phone. Doing leisure things will do, going out too, have some sun and fresh air will do, exercise for a bit.
Always remember that "Not trading is a good position", which means taking a break will make your trading life healthy.

trading is something that a person needs to be patient, without patience it is difficult to do day trade, there are days when I lose money and I get very angry and stressed, when this happens I like to stop for a while and watch movies, animes, watch games. soccer and playing video games. but there have been days when my stress was so great that I broke the mouse, for example there was a time when I bought LTC for the price of $204 dollars and forgot to put stop-loss and when I saw the price of LTC had dropped to $124, I had a big loss and that made me stressed

Everyone experiences stress when trading, including me also experienced stress several times. Moreover, volatile crypto prices definitely stress us out,
because their movements are very difficult to predict. I'm like you, when it comes to losses when trading, decided to stop for a while and do other
activities that can relieve the stress that I was experiencing. It's not easy trading crypto, we must be able to control our emotions, it is very important
to practice our patience when trading. Because being patient can slightly reduce the stress we experience.

The main thing is your readiness to lose. If you are not ready then the stress will get. in crypto trading you need strategy and commitment in making choices. without it all you will just make the same mistakes over and over again.

To build the readiness is by limitting the amount of lose you wont regret so much. After you reaching that amount, take a break and get ready for another trading day. Its my strategy to coping the stress during trading activity.

This is a critical question that many never ask, many people have the mistaken idea that they can trade and make profits easily and never get any stress, but this is not true, trading is an incredibly stressful job in which you always need to be at your best and perform, this is not true for the majority of jobs and this generates stress, however there is not a recipe to help you deal with this as each person is different, personally before the pandemic I took a walk and breath some fresh air but that is not as easy to do now as it was back then.

Of course losing in a trade will be stressful.
I personally have no way of dealing with that, but at least before I make a trade I make sure to be prepared for the risks involved, and I set 2 points on the trade. First, if I get 5-10% profit in 2 days I will sell it, and if I get more than 5% loss in 1 day I will sell it. losing this amount wouldn't stress me out, and getting a profit like that was enough for me.

How do you cope with the stress of trading?

In order for anyone to cope with the stress of trading, the person ought to have known what trading entails, you don't just do trading because your friends are doing it, rather you do it because you want to and ready to pay the price attached to it once anyone interested in trading understand this, the person will be a better trader thus overcoming stress through knowing when to trade and when to exit.
Also, some people who found trading stressful went into long term holding and/or investing in new projects that will give them good profits.
So in all, it is wise to know what your capabilities are and utilize them to the fullest.

If it makes you feel like trading is a stressful way why not just take up futures trading? You don't need to watch price movements for 24 hours and save sales. Because crypto trading is not to stress you out, but to teach patience in dealing with markets that are not always on top. So while this can be simplified, don't make it difficult.

In my opinion, futures trading is a very risky type of trading as compared to spot trading. People who will venture into this type of trading should know what he's getting into. Because your funds can be liquidated fast if you are not careful here. So in terms of stress relief in terms of trading activities, why not pause or take a break if you feel your mental health is being compromised. You know yourself more than anybody, so you should know when to stop and not.

When the market is bearish as it is today I'm sure there will be many traders who are stressed to see market conditions and also assets are reduced due to fluctuating prices, the only stress relief is not to visit the market again in the near future if to be watched continuously this will certainly be a burden on you and become excessive stress.
To be honest I have also been losing money at the moment but I don't open my market and portfolio very often so I thought I should calm down in another way.

True, Crypto trading can be stressful for us, Especially if our portfolio is down. To deal with the stress of falling prices, I work around this by dividing the funds for each trade, So when the price goes down we can see it as an opportunity to buy again.
Besides that we also need to divide the time to trade, don't overdo it, leave time to enjoy life in the real world

As long as you can maintain your stressful caused by doing trade in the volatile market and it must not become the stressful things.
So many people didn't have enough patience and they were feeling worry to see their portfolios to go down once the dump occurred on the bitcoin as the impact from the bad news or overbought area that already happened with bitcoin.

It is a rollercoaster of emotions and if you do not have an outlet, you will make some mistakes easily.
How do you cope with the stress of trading?
All of people can make mistake but that totally depends on how good you can manage your emotion to not be a greedy traders when you were getting decent profit from your trade. So many traders were expecting to get more from their portfolios and this is making people to all in their portfolios. I personally will always try to divide my money into the some things like reserved funds, long term, short term investment and the rest to be used for the daily trade. This to gives more guarantee for me to not lose all of money at once. This will not make me feel panic or stressful in my trading activities.

to reduce stress I always divide the time. use weekends for holidays or doing things that are not related to trading. This is a powerful way to relieve stress when the mind is saturated. forget about the market and leave all things trading related, use your weekend for vacation, relax with family, or play online games is also a pretty good way.
Everyone has a different way of de-stressing in their heads, and maybe the methods like yours are very common to everyone who is stressed from trading in crypto for too long, but I personally only use a little time to refresh the place - tourist attractions that are easy to find in my environment, because with that my enthusiasm in dealing with all things can increase and the stress can also be lost.
