Have you noticed, that some casinos are very conservative about withdrawal cost of Bitcoin? Even though Bitcoin transaction fees are still expensive, or we could say higher than they were week or months ago, not some casinos have changed their withdrawal policy.

For example I want to deposit 0.001 BTC, that is around $44. Today, on December 10, using ledger live, it would cost me $59. $44 + 242sat/byte fee. All setting as app offers me. That is "slow" transaction. While if I would withdraw 0.001 BTC from casino, they would charge me with 0.000075 BTC for a slow withdrawal that might last for 24h. Casinos still use their old withdrawal fees.
That's true, but in gambling industry it won't be good if we were allowed to spend much on fee. When it comes to withdrawal most of the platforms provide the fixed fee unlike the situation network congestion. At Times we will experience delay in the confirmation of the transaction whereas majority of the transaction used to get confirmed at the shortest time.

Casinos have a lot of leverage to deal with the fees, and its good that they are sticking with their withdrawal policy. The big concern here is when you deposit BTC the fees are high and that’s why I started to used alternative coins just to gamble with small amount. We know the fees are getting high if there’s a huge traffic and that is what happening right now, you should look for other options instead of dealing with a higher fees.
Casinos wont really be bothered about if the fees become that high because most of them are dynamic and not really having that free fees for those people who do make withdrawal this is why
this thing wont really be an issue.
Its true that on the time that bitcoin network does have that high fee then it would really be just that normal that you would really be making use of those coins which does have
less or cheap fees but if you are some sort of whale gambler then these few bucks wont really be a bothersome thing for you.
We know that it isnt really that too often for this market to have that high fees but if you would really be that mindful about those spendings then its your choice
but most gamblers would really be that mindful about fees and this is why they would really be making use of coins on which it does have cheaper fees.
We know that most gambling sites does have multiple options for the coins that they are accepting.

Yes, there will always be a risk of placing funds with a third party, which is why it is not recommended to keep them there for too long unless there is a reason to just buy and sell or use the exchange as an exchange for other crypto which could possibly be used to finance the gambling you are doing, if at all. Bitcoin transaction fees are very high, there are still other options using other cryptos.
As OP is getting his gambling funds from signature campaigns in BTC, I don't think this should be a bad idea. I said it earlier and agree with you too that doing it for a longer period of time is not wise. But as the situation is out of our hands, we might as well take advantage of this. All you need to do is wait for the payment to arrive in your exchange account, convert it to other alts and then deposit it into the gambling platform. You are not keeping the asset in the exchange platform which decreases the risk of losing funds from that account.

But as this does not completely erase the possible risks, we should not do it for long. We can also just convert it into altcoins and then keep them in a personal wallet for later use. When the fees are back to somewhat normal, we can reverse the action by depositing alts into the exchange and then converting them into BTC to use. Risky but effective in this situation.

Here is a simple solution for this problem. I won't recommend using this for a long term but for the time being this can solve the problem temporarily. We get paid in Bitcoin that comes straight to the wallet that will provide. So if we provide a wallet address from an exchange, we get the payment directly in that exchange platform. Then we can exchange that Bitcoin into some other coins or tokens that those gambling platforms accepts. It will be fast and cheaper than Bitcoin.

But as I said this is not a permanent solution. As I am suggesting centralized platform, your assets could be in danger if anything happens to that platform. So you will have to take the risk. DYOR

I've seen the exchange feature in casinos but for now I don't see it anymore even though this feature is very useful for gamblers who want to withdraw money from the casino to the exchange just to cash it into fiat money, that's why I hope that in the future this feature will be held again in In some casinos, if the Bitcoin withdrawal fee is very high, gamblers can exchange it for other cryptos on the casino site and withdraw using crypto which does have fairly cheap transaction fees.

I think if you can't keep on playing gambling or you can't stop thinking about playing gambling, then maybe try the alternatives. Like others are saying, you can exchange your bitcoin for another coin that has lower transaction fees, but of course, make sure that coins are supported by the casino where you are playing. But if you still can't do that, then better stop gambling using your assets first because, as you are gambling, you are not sure if you will win or lose. If, for example, you lose, then your spending on transaction fees is a waste. So if you have other options for playing gambling, maybe use a gambling site that offers fiat money or currency. Anyway, it's not worth it to spend money or assets for high transaction fees. If you can, you could wait for a day or several days until the fees go down.
Generally, people who have the option to gamble with other assets or have their Bitcoins on a platform where they can convert them to another coin and then use that for gambling, such people don't worry about transaction fees touching the sky if their only concern with the problem is regarding their gambling activities. But, since most people have their Bitcoins or assets kept in personal wallets, they can't even send them to an exchange because that will cost them a lot of money.

Other than that, a lot of people are not so much into gambling and they can easily wait until the congestion of the network goes away and the transaction fees start to become normal. It's only the addicts that will face a lot of problems if they use Bitcoin for gambling. Besides, who uses Bitcoin for gambling these days?

I think everyone notice how high the current fee right now on Bitcoin network. I’m sure player like me that relying only on signature campaign payment in Bitcoin is having a hard time to play right now since the fee is insanely high.

How do you deal with this problem? Is there any casino that allows no confirmation to deposit? Let’s say I will send my Bitcoin using fee below average and then play while it’s still unconfirmed. I knew that some casino do have instant deposit but I never try depositing much lower fee to the average fee if they will still credit instantly.
Yes we are currently noticing that Bitcoin transaction fees are extremely high. Despite the huge increase in Bitcoin transaction fees, people are not lagging behind in transactions. People are transacting just fine even though there are high transaction fees. But many people stop gambling due to high transaction fees. Meanwhile, I have a solution to continue gambling during the high transaction fees of the Bitcoin network, which is to use other altcoins such as: Litecoin, Dogecoin, BNB, USDT, etc. But in this case many people may say from where all these coins should be sent but of course I will say that all these coins must be bought from any exchange and sent. But the easiest thing for me is that I currently receive weekly payments from Signature Campaign directly to my Binance Exchange address. Due to the high transaction fees of the Bitcoin network, I changed the address at my own risk after talking to the campaign manager. Making unique coins for me has become much easier.

that's the dilemma if you will give an exchange address as you have no assurance what will happen to the platform at the time that you need to receive your btc. but yeah, i can somehow agree on this short-term approach, just keep an eye on the exchange itself, read news and announcements as they may have scheduled maintenance and of similar events on their platform.
other option is to convert your btc to other alts (given that it is already in a trading platform), and then just deposit the alts to the casino, check the accepted alts and of course the corresponding fees.

That is a very smart option, in fact when we have these options in a casino it is much more comfortable, of course the thing about bitcoin transaction fees is something that is sometimes not understood, because I believed that this was going to be temporary , at least at least for 2 weeks, but it has been extended, this has brought certain problems to do things , personally I have Always said that when it comes to doing things more focused on Saving and Saving money , many ideas can be generated, among them, these, Of course, in Every casino there should be an internal exchange, where they also charge for the transaction fee, but sometimes it is not very good, because if there is not one in all casinos it is because the cases can be enough to not leave any profits. Of course I am Speculating this, I don't know what the reasons are for not Having an Internal exchange in the casino.

Now, when we do things, for Example , we have no idea how to attack the problem of Fees , it is not that it is not played, but rather to make a large Transaction so as not to be constantly putting up money, or having the money in a Reliable Exchange , although currently there are no reliable casinos so far, but still things should look like to have a good way to make an Exchange of BTC to USDT or any Other cryptocurrency so that it is Easier to play in any casino , that is What we can see is whether great things will be generated within a casino, now, if there is not, then there is nothing left but to assume the fee that is going to be made , try to recover it when playing , because it is that or nothing, the The altcouis is good, it's just that there are times that the eproans don't like to do anything with the altcoins, because they are not Trustworthy , there are people who only use bitcoin, and they don't like to exchange for the altcoins because they say that they lose , because how is the market It is very likely that this will happen , Especially those who are more Pro-bitcoin.

I think for some of us who are privileged to gamble on some reputable casinos that maintain stable low withdrawal fees even though there are high transaction fees demands from the networks,  this makes withdrawal very easy and fast for us.

But the high fees will have a tell on you if you making Bitcoin deposits and for that,  I think we can choose to deposit other coins if we deposit from our exchange wallet and not a personal wallet,  the current situation with the network is highly existing for small gamblers who make frequent deposits directly from the wallets.
You are right because by having several coins in the casino, we can choose which coins we can use as deposit coins. That will make it easier for us to reduce transaction costs and we also don't need to use bitcoin as the deposit coin. That way, we can continue gambling as usual, only we use different coins than usual.

But to avoid any transaction costs, we should just take a break from gambling. That would be better because we can also avoid thinking about gambling, which can make us want always to deposit money at the casino.

You just have a bit of patience and some knowledge of how fees work to keep them at a level that's acceptable for you. If it still isn't despite all the above, try sending bitcoin through another network, like LTC if it's accepted in the casino.
That is correct Litecoin is good coin with so cheap transaction fee , and also OP can have other altcoins
to deposit and play.
Yes, that's true, that's why people sometimes make things too difficult for themselves even though in every casino, gambling site, not only bitcoin payments are available but also other altcoins, that's why there are altcoins available there to serve as an alternative when bitcoin transactions are busy and transaction costs become higher. high and expensive, it also happens with ethereum and maybe there are other alternatives such as LTC or other cryptos.

I use BNB if it's available or Matic if it's in the casino, sometimes whatever I use when I want to gamble where there is crypto with cheaper transaction fees which would be even better, Litecoin also has low fees especially XLM, but rarely XLm in casinos, although there are only special casinos that provide it, we all know that XLM has the lowest transaction fees whether in casinos or on exchange sites.  Wink

We can use Altcoins mate that is as easy as that , though Bitcoin is one of the most used
currency in gambling but nowadays ? gambling sites  are accepting tons of altcoins even those cheapest one so
there are no really problem when the price of bitcoin increases so high in transaction fees.
My frequent deposit currency has always been fiat, and even as the transaction fee of Bitcoin has increased, it does not stop me from gambling. The best suggestion I will give is for the gambler to change their Bitcoin receiving address from their individual signature campaign. For example, you can add your casino's Bitcoin wallet address so that any time you receive your signature payment, you will just continue your gambling, or you can also use a sex wallet so that if you receive payment, you can just convert to Litecoin, whose fee is cheaper.
some is ready for anything , from Bitcoin ,altcoins and Fiat some are even using credit/debt cards
so what should be the big issue in this topic, I think OP isn't really a gambler and just making thread to have posting counts.

I tried transferring BTC from my wallet to my exchange account with a very low fee, and it's been over 30hours now and yet transaction have not been confirmed, but ever since this recent high fee in transaction started, I opted into depositing stable coin (i.e USDT) or altcoins (i.e Tron) to my casino for gambling (i.e Shuffle to be precise) and the deposit was almost instant, far better than depositing BTC whose few is still high, and transactions likely not have been instantaneous.

Hence, I suggest using altcoins now is a bit better now that the mempool is still high

Sorry to hear about that. Right now the mempool space is clogged with many unconfirmed transactions as a result of ordinals spam, thus it's becoming very frustrating to execute a transaction without paying through your nose. It's good that most casinos support deposits and withdrawals via other cryptocurrencies which is a relief, so you can get your account easily funded using USDT, TRX etc. Concerning Shuffle, I've not used it so I don't know if they support BTC deposit via LN, but if they do it would be a better alternative for Bitcoin lovers.

if you don't mind using altcoin when gambling you can always exchange your BTC into an altcoin. I've used XRP in the past when Bitcoin transaction fees were too high for me, altcoins are a great substitution for Bitcoin if the current Bitcoin transaction fee is too high for you.

Right, there are really a lot of options for us, maybe their could be issues for some who are just into bitcoin gambling. I know it's hard, but we need to learn to used other cryptocurrencies too, even if we are bitcoin enthusiast or maximalist.

However, for me I don't think that the high fees will be sustained. There might be a time that we will be back to normal even if we are in a bull run already. So just be patience for those bitcoin gamblers, for now if we are not that comfortable of the transaction fees, just switch to any altcoins for now.
I do believe that it's not sustainable and it would hurt bitcoin as well but I also believe that there is a reason why that happens, which is why I am fine with it, I get that it may feel like that's a big deal but at the same time it's because the price is going higher. I mean we are talking about a situation that would not be all that easy to handle, but I believe that we are going to end up with something that would benefit us when the price is higher as well, which is the most important thing.

I do hope that we can fix it one day, and that should be an important thing, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with something that would benefit everyone, it is going to be something that will be both benefiting some, and hurting some other people. The ones who will benefit the most will be people who hold, because those people do not spend that much fee, they just buy and hold, and when it is time to sell the price is higher so they just pay easily.

It's what I did. USDT BEP20 fee is just $0.50 and it's faster than every altcoin I know that's how I deal with bloated transaction fees and the miners are just picking which transaction they are going to mine. Even if you keep broadcasting the transaction it's gonna be ignored when the fee is just not incentivizing them.

This is why there should have been an internal exchange in the casinos in case you wanted to withdraw a stablecoin instead of BTC which could also take hours.
Good to know they credit the BTC without the confirmation yet.
Now, we are experiencing another increase in Bitcoin transaction fees. This will likely make most crypto gamblers switch to using altcoins instead of bitcoin. It is also possible that many crypto gamblers choose to take a break from gambling and prefer to monitor crypto market movements.

Current conditions make many small investors hold their bitcoins in their wallets and not send them to any exchange because transaction costs are increasing again. We don't know how long the transaction costs will drop to normal again. Hopefully, it doesn't take long.

I cope by sending batch transactions, making sure my transactions are small in bytes, by managing my addresses well and manually choosing the ones that get included in the transaction, which keeps fees at minimum. I also check fees on sites that show current queues, so that I pay the smallest amount that's enough to get my transaction confirmed in 6 hours.

You just have a bit of patience and some knowledge of how fees work to keep them at a level that's acceptable for you. If it still isn't despite all the above, try sending bitcoin through another network, like LTC if it's accepted in the casino.

I will keep buying Bitcoin only because it's a good store of value but using it as payment or in business payment solution isn't going to work out well, even if you manage to confuse your customers, once they see that Bitcoin transaction fee is higher than Fiat they will opt to Fiat instead.
Good choice, Bitcoin may currently fail to be a means of micropayments but bitcoin can still be successfully used as a means of transaction in large amounts with low transaction fees, so currently it will not be convenient for microtransactions or small transactions that may require high fees from the amount transactions, that's why bitcoin is not suitable as a means of payment at this time because the costs are quite expensive.

But bitcoin can be a good hedge or investment for anyone who keeps it in their wallet and not for transactions as a means of payment online, we know that fiat payment transactions are much lower for micropayment transactions than bitcoin, so it's best not to use bitcoin as a means pay, make it an investment asset.

if I were you maybe you should hold it while waiting until the blockchain network is not too busy so transactions become cheaper.
How much time do you have to wait and policing the blockchain network till you see it's reduced in congestion especially when we can't tell for sure at the very time it will decongest. Assuming you have a sports game to bet on like football match and it's to start by the next 30mins, of which some of us don't like betting on live matches. Do you have to continue waiting for the decongestion of the network while time is running out for your games to start?
In my opinion, the use of the lightening network just as other users have suggested is one way out of the high fees. We all knew a time like this will be here as bitcoin price keeps rising so let not act like the situation itook us unexpectedly.

What's the point of using Bitcoin for gambling right now? You are not going to win if you use Bitcoin so why is using Bitcoin for gambling so important? Just use something else, we have altcoins that are acceptable on casinos and they have way lower feel than Bitcoin, I have stopped using Bitcoin, at this junction right now it's better I keep my Bitcoin and keep holding.

It’s not about using BTC and making it easier to win, there are people who love BTC and that the only currency they make use of so far as crypto is concern they don’t like getting their self involve with other currency and their are also casinos which what you use in depositing and what you use in playing is what you will be paid back with, so they see using BTC to deposit and gamble as means of multiplying the little that they are ready to put at risk it’s as simple as that, if they are lucky enough to win more from their gambling they will have to withdraw that their winning and add it to what they are already holding on their wallet, it’s not different from gambling with fiat or any other currency that you prefer to use just that the fee is making this difficult now, which is forcing people to make use of other options.

It would have been a big problem if Bitcoin is the only digital currency that's acceptable by these casinos, but you can use Doge, LTC and Trx too, they have better transaction fee than Bitcoin, even using your Fiat to gamble is better than using Bitcoin, it costs too much to use Bitcoin like money, and now that Ordinals is giving miners some money its a big problem for Bitcoin as I don't see how anything will stop Ordinals on Bitcoin now, it's too late.

Imo Bitcoin is not suitable for quick transactions in general, so it isnt correct to complain about high transactions fee on gambling. Gambling platforms always offer a bunch of other cryptocurrencies for deposit. Even with mempool being not so overloaded, I prefer not to use BTC for gambling. Because by the time transaction gets confirmed, I dont want or have free time to gamble anymore. With current situation, I would suggest to wait, for example this morning low priority transactions were about 60-70sat only. Or to use alternative cryptocurrency.

If you read carefully my post. I’m not complaining about high transaction on Bitcoin just because I need to use it on gambling but rather I’m looking for ways of alternative solution for the current condition on high fee.

I already mention that I’m gambling using my Bitcoin salary on signature campaign. I’m not asking for the opinion about using other coins instead of Bitcoin because that’s not my intention when I create the thread. Sadly, many users is just stating the obvious without reading the purpose of the thread.   Embarrassed

I've got you. Then I would suggest or direct to look for a solution in the wallet you use to operate with BTC you receive. For example Ledger Live offer swap option. Trust wallet also offer swapping. Maybe look into direction of swapping inside wallet for aa altcoin with cheaper transaction? Just be careful and double check if casino you use support that altcoin and blockchain. Perhaps swapping BTC to USDT on  Polygon could be a possible solution for cheap and quick deposit.

I knew that some casino do have instant deposit but I never try depositing much lower fee to the average fee if they will still credit instantly.

I don't deal with it. I just use altcoins or fiat. What's the point spending BTC for gambling, when there's a possibility for the BTC price to hit another ATH? I feel that this question has been asked multiple times in the past. Asking it one more time doesn't ass anything new to the discussion. The Bitcoin transactions fees are going up and down. There will be more transaction fee ups and downs in the future. The gamblers had no problems with high BTC transaction fees in the past. I'm sure that they won't have any problems with high transaction fees in the future.

Hopefully, it doesn't take long.

if you don't mind using altcoin when gambling you can always exchange your BTC into an altcoin. I've used XRP in the past when Bitcoin transaction fees were too high for me, altcoins are a great substitution for Bitcoin if the current Bitcoin transaction fee is too high for you.

On stake,  while withdrawing the fees is very low as low as 0.00007 although stake covers the remaining fees to get your transactions confirmed immediately to your wallet,  and that is why many times stake users may not complain that much about transaction fees for withdrawal,  but then while depositing into your stake account,  you must have to use the highest transaction fees to get your transactions confirmed ASAP.

I don't know how it is with other casinos but this I am very sure of in stake since they are the most used casino for me.

Not just casino sites you can't deposit or pay bitcoins anywhere without minimum 1 confirmation.  So in this case you must accept high fees to complete the transaction quickly.  But late deposits are not desirable for gamblers as high transaction fees are now a big hassle for them.  So in this case I think gamblers changed their deposit method like me like I now use TRX to deposit in casino site which helps deposit success in just 2 minutes.

I think all sites need to ask for 1 confirmation to make the funds really safe whether it's a casino site or an exchange they all definitely need at least 1 transaction confirmation, so you probably can't play before getting confirmation on your bitcoin transaction, if I were you maybe you should hold it while waiting until the blockchain network is not too busy so transactions become cheaper.

If you receive signature campaign payments directly into your wallet, that's the risk because sending money when prices are high and transaction costs are high is a bit difficult if you send a little money but the costs are quite high too. My advice is to wait until you have collected a lot of money in your wallet then You can send it when transactions become cheap or you exchange it to an exchange to use another blockchain that has cheaper transaction fees.

Yeah bitcoin transaction fees are insanely high and almost too expensive to afford for some people, but there are alternatives you can use when it comes to crypto gambling in other to avoid being charged so much for transaction fees.

1. You can use the Lightening Network, using the Lightening Network is way faster and cheaper when it comes to bitcoin transactions, your transactions don't have to wait for too long before it can be confirmed and you don't have to pay so much for transaction fees or.

2 You can use other cryptos to gamble. There are casinos that accept several other tokens and cryptos as payment and not just bitcoin, you can use other cryptos and tokens to make your deposits and withdrawals. That way you can avoid the high transaction fees and it'll still be gambling as usual for you.

Bitcoin makes the world go 🔃
Imo Bitcoin is not suitable for quick transactions in general, so it isnt correct to complain about high transactions fee on gambling.

Embarrassed

I never use Bitcoin when playing when my transaction will incur huge fees it's not economical I'm using Tron and Dogecoin this is one of the reasons why casino accepts altcoins in case there is heavy congestion in the Bitcoin blockchain, some gamblers who prefer to play on Bitcoin prefer to just wait for the traffic to decongest.
I think every time there is heavy congestion in the blockchain there is a significant drop in gamblers' activity, I have friends who prefer to wait it out before depositing, they are not comfortable playing with altcoins even though the fee is very low.

But who knows in the future casinos will employ internal exchanges where you can deposit altcoins and convert them it Bitcoin so you can play with Bitcoin, there could be a big demand for this if there is always traffic in the blockchain.

I left the bitcoin I have on gambling site alone. If I use my weekly budget finish one day, I will pounce on it. But I have enough gambling weekly budget and I leave it alone the old bitcoin budget alone which I have transferred already to gambling site. I am using stable coins and other altcoins like litecoin and tron to gamble now. As for bitcoin, I will not use it until the mempool become decongested.

It shouldn't be a problem, so far a gambler has alternative sources of payments, other than bitcoin, it's to take advantage of stable coins and altcoins, to make deposits. Bitcoin high transaction fees is a big disadvantage for it's usage to make payments for now, due to mempool congestion. It's only advantage for now is perhaps that it's somehow compelling people to keep accumulating and  holding, so they'll have surplus to sale and make huge profit, during bull run.
I would suggest the same thing to anyone any day, to use other cryptocurrencies for gambling activities, to pay lower fees, and also to have faster transaction confirmation times when compared to larger cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. In times like these when fees are touching the sky, it's best to use stablecoins or cryptocurrencies that charge very low transaction fees so that one doesn't face problems with transaction confirmation in case they can't afford to pay a lot of money in fees.

I also keep wondering why people use Bitcoin for their gambling activities even during bull runs when they can see that the price of Bitcoin and all cryptocurrencies are on the rise and if they lose their Bitcoin in such a time, they will regret their decision later when the price of Bitcoin reaches a higher point.

If that happens for a long time, maybe I will use altcoins as I did when bitcoin transactions increased some time ago. But there are times when I decide to take a break from gambling for a while because the transaction fees are still high and I'm also too lazy to convert my bitcoins to altcoins. Everything depends on the situation and conditions and most importantly, it depends on my desire to gamble now or later. Moreover, I don't gamble too often, so by taking a break, I don't have any significant problems.

How do you deal with this problem?

I am using electrum for my wallet and I deal with high fees by adjusting the fee rate, in reference to the mempool fee information and  lowering them in a state where it can be easily confirmed once the congestion of the network got resolved .
This seems quite good and can be tried, but I am not an Electrum wallet user for storing any assets I own, and if I use another wallet, will this method be the same?
Due to the increase in BTC transaction costs that have occurred in recent days, I have chosen not to carry out several transaction activities, whether deposits or withdrawals, and for gambling, it might be better to reduce them until the costs can actually return to normal.

Is there any casino that allows no confirmation to deposit? Let’s say I will send my Bitcoin using fee below average and then play while it’s still unconfirmed. I knew that some casino do have instant deposit but I never try depositing much lower fee to the average fee if they will still credit instantly.

There are some casinos that have a feature of crediting deposits even without confirmation (regardless of tx fee or even when RBF is enabled) but please be informed that you also cannot withdraw your winnings if the deposit is yet to be confirmed.
Where? what is this casino because so far I have never found casino that has deposit transactions without confirmation?
But isn't that the same because we can make deposit without confirmation and can use the balance to play but to withdraw we need to wait for the confirmation to be completed and this means that it is the same as requiring confirmation to be able to play comfortably.

Yes, some crypto-based casino services allow you to instantly deposit money as the deposit is reflected and use your balance without any block confirmation. As someone who rarely uses different services because I generally prefer crypto-based casino services that I trust, unfortunately there is no service I can recommend as I have never used a service that provides such opportunities.

Generally, I take care to choose another cryptocurrency instead of Bitcoin when I gamble especially during periods when transfer fees are high. Sometimes, instead of using the Bitcoin I earned from the signature campaign I make a bank transfer as a payment method and keep my Bitcoin balance in my savings wallet. So, I take care to use all the alternatives I know to avoid using Bitcoin for gambling especially during periods when transfer fees are very high.

If we are quite reluctant to pay quite high fees, it is better to stop gambling for a while because high fees like now do not last long, usually no more than one week, and will return to normal and when it is normal we can go back to playing.
Because my signature campaign payment goes directly to the casino account, I can use it straight away without thinking about fees and withdrawal fees don't change at the casino, and I'm lucky enough to currently have a free bet at one of the sports betting sites so it can be used without having to make a deposit, so the fee issue is currently not a problem for me, but hoping that there is a solution to the current high fees is certainly the hope of many people because even though there are altcoins that can be used, Bitcoin lovers will of course always consider Bitcoin as the main thing to use.

Have you tried converting to at least usdt? I think most casinos have such option for deposit and you won't have the issue of high fee with stablecoin.
which is what I understand from OP's post, he/she is gambling from the signature campaign payment and payment is made via BTC then he/she will still have to pay a high fee if he/she sends it to an exchange to exchange it for USDT, so changing it to USDT will not solve the high fee problem, unless he/she has USDT and temporarily uses it to deposit to the casino.

It's harder for me to deposit bitcoins in casino compared to withdrawals from casino because there are many casinos that let you withdraw in exchange of paying small fee, there are also some like FortuneJack that let you withdraw for free if you 2x wager your deposit. If Bitcoin is not an option for you, then try to play with altcoins, you'll save on transaction fees.
There might be some casinos that might allow you to play if you make transaction and have 0 confirmations but they won't allow you to withdraw your coins before your transaction gets 3 or 6 confirmations. If fees remain high, you might have to wait for some days or weeks until they go down.

Yes, some casino provided zero-confirmation for the balance.

However, you only can spend-it (Betting) but before the transaction is getting minimum confirmation you will cannot withdraw. I have some experience on (Roobet) with zero-confirmation, the balance credited before getting confrmation.

One another things, bitcoin fee is not really big at all. In around 1-2$ + If you using (Segwit) you can get more cheaper.

$1-2 is below average fee, i think it would take days if not weeks for it to be confirmed. the insane fee probably contributes to people holding their BTC for long term which is good too. i also use segwit and to secure confirmation would be at least $6 at least in this mycelium that i'm using.
today I tried to withdraw BTC that I saved to move to the market with a fee of $3. It took at least 20 minutes for 1 confirmation and for me this was fine, not too long.

for the OP, as long as transaction fees are high usually all gamblers choose to use other alternatives such as using altcoins with lower fees with standard speeds and usually they use stable coins like USDT or others and this alternative seems much better than being forced to use lower fees but there a risk of running out of gas fees and deposit will not arrive.

If you have the means to exchange it first for another coin like XRP (cheaper) then do so before deposit. But if it's in a Bitcoin-only wallet then it's all up to how much it is in fees. You could wait longer but it's a bumpy ride and you might get bored waiting just for a few thousand of satoshis difference.

You will have one more to worry about, once you win you will have another problem and that's the withdrawal fees. There are no changes in the amount of satoshis being charged but since the value of Bitcoin is growing it feels very high when converted to USD.
That's why it's best if you can exchange it first for a coin with cheaper fees because that way, in case you win you will not have a hard time withdrawing too. I mean, based on my experience, it's the wall today on why many gamblers like me won't get out yet. They might try winning that amount first so that it would feel like the gambling site to cover the withdrawal fees.

While gambling, there is no condition that you have to use only Bitcoin, so here you can gamble using alternative coins of your choice with low transaction difficulty. But I think even if the deposit funds are accepted at zero confirmation, confirmation is required to withdraw them. I would suggest that you use any other altcoin for gambling, in this case you can use trx as the transaction fee is low and very fast.

with the fees being so high, my approach to the game definitely changes.
I am forced to decide which events to play, carefully checking the odds and also taking into account hypothetical variations while waiting for One confirmation

I could keep some fee funds at the gambling site but basically I always make a withdrawal at every session.

I no longer use Bitcoin for deposits on gambling sites due to high transaction fees and long network confirmations, I prefer to use Tron. As I write this comment, the transaction fee on the mempool is about $6, which is a lot considering I only deposited about $20 or $30. Even though the increase in transaction fees on Bitcoin is only temporary, using Tron is more logical for me because the transaction fees are very cheap.

I have no experience playing on gambling sites that credit balances when Bitcoins have not been confirmed by the network. Usually the balance will be credited when my bitcoin deposit has received at least 1 network confirmation.
Tron+Doge

~snip~

Yeah, tron and doge are great options to use for gambling because of their low fees and fast transactions. When making a deposit on a gambling site using Bitcoin, we have to wait at least 10 minutes for our transaction to be confirmed by the network, which is an annoying waiting time. I like bitcoin primarily as an asset, but for gambling activities I don't like bitcoin

In some cases we do have to choose the right option, I've never used Lightning so I can't comment. Apart from that, we also need transactions from Bitcoin Segwit to the Lightning network so that is not a solution but instead adds costs because the transaction is done twice. So Tron and Doge are still the best choices for gambling activities

Convert your bitcoins into another altcoin. Currently the altcoin price is low only, and then send these altcoin to the casino if you want to gamble. This is only the best method possible if you ask me. There are many casinos present which allows 0 confirmation deposits, but they have some shady reputations too. So if you love your hard earned money, then avoid these types of casinos. Currently the fees are not so high, it’s still manageable according to me.

What if your bitcoin is in your wallet? Like when you are earning bitcoin, you know that when it's moved to an exchange to convert to altcoins, you'll have to pay for the transaction fee. So it's still the same; you won't get away with the high transaction fee. In my opinion, it's not wise to gamble this time. The market is very bullish, and by holding your bitcoin alone, you are already making gains—safer than gambling.

With the high transaction fee, which is around $10, small-time gamblers are going to suffer. It's not worth it, so it's better to keep it (HODL).

I sometimes take advantage of instant deposits offered by a couple of casinos, and the downside is waiting indefinitely because it could take weeks or even a month before the network is back to regularly using low fees. If you always play small, this might be the best option.

The other option I go for is the exchange route. Sometimes, I would directly deposit my BTC on the casino because others have an indirect exchange system where you can withdraw a different altcoin.

The best way to deal with high confirmations is to use altcoins in the process. With congested and high fees, it will surely eat up your balance as miner fees are like $10 from the last time I checked.

Swap your BTCs to any altcoins that are available in the respective gambling website and you are good to go. If you really want to gamble with BTC, then the only solution is to wait until the transaction fees lower but this will take some time given that Christmas is around the corner and the fork is coming very soon.

I can understand that this is a very real issue for those that don't have the income to gamble a lot but still want to gamble a little.

So, in these cases, I think the best move would be to simply use another currency for deposits. Sadly though most casinos don't support trading your balance to another currency inside their platform. So you will have to get used with vetting with that other currency, instead of seeing Bitcoin when gambling.

I just use a different crypto in general. Or if I don't really feel like gambling in that particular moment, I just stop playing altogether.

You can't make bitcoin's transaction fees change in the blink of an eye, so might as well work with what you can do instead of whining about what you're dealt with. If you're not comfortable paying that much fees for bitcoin, use a less congested network or maybe use the lightning network if you're too much of a bitcoin maximalist. If it can't be helped, just stop gambling altogether for that particular day, and hope and pray that tomorrow or the next time you feel like gambling, it's much cheaper. You play with the cards you're dealt with, not complain why you got a shitty hand.

Swap to a different coin with fewer fees? I mean it doesn't really matter what coin you use, you're going to lose it all while playing anyway Wink. That aside though legitimately just do that, then transfer whatever winnings back into Bitcoin afterward. I completely gave up on using BTC once after the fees were similar, or even more really to what we have right now. It was just too much considering I'm transferring money to spend it and I'd have to spend a quarter, a half? of what I have to move it. I've had enough of that with ETH back in the days.

That's definitely a big problem now as alot of peeps can't even redeem Thier transactions, talk more of having some to spare out on casino sites ..

mempool currently requires 250 - 340 sat/vbyte as their fair rate for fast confirmations... I'm just wondering how casinos are able to cope with this high fees.. cus definitely, they'll have a decrease transaction rate.
Cope up for high fees? Im pretty much sure that when it comes to withdrawal fees then most of them are dynamic ones on which it would really be charged up into the gambler itself.
If we do speak on the number of gamblers that cant play because of the high fees then pretty sure it would really be that pertaining into those small time gamblers and i dont see
it could affect that much because if there would be those whale gamblers then it wont really be that much of an issue because paying up 20 bucks for fees wont really be that a problem.
For those who are really that casual gamblers or who are really just that spending a few bucks then this would really be an issue but casinos wont really be minding much
as long they do have those huge wagerers then it wont really be that a problem.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
I think everyone notice how high the current fee right now on Bitcoin network. I’m sure player like me that relying only on signature campaign payment in Bitcoin is having a hard time to play right now since the fee is insanely high.
That's definitely a big problem now as alot of peeps can't even redeem Thier transactions, talk more of having some to spare out on casino sites .. everyone's been made to face the effect of thw ATH.

mempool currently requires 250 - 340 sat/vbyte as their fair rate for fast confirmations... It's better you just stick to some new adjustable rules of not wagering for now, until the 300-day countdown is over..

This should not stop you from gambling, I think there are other ways you can gamble without relying on bitcoin only and concerning your signature, I think you can use an exchange to receive your weekly payment for the time been and wait until the network is settle. Once the payments are sent out, instead of its going into your personal wallet, it will go to am exchange and then convert it to any other coin of your choice and then use it to fund casino or any betting platform that you like.

The fees you will pay to comfirm a transaction on bitcoin network is large enough to give you one or two wager. Why not try another coin they supports like USDT and then when you deposit it and played the game of your choice, you can convert them in the casino back to BTC. Most casinos has this I believe and you can then withdraw it out to external wallet.

Tron+Doge

On times like these or even in the past on which if Bitcoins fees are already on the roof and i do really feel like to play gambling then these are the coins on which i do really consider out to play on.
Cheap fees on which it is really just that close to nothing, not also about talking about the fees but also you could really be that versatile with your bets. Why? We know that these coins are
cheap and which means that the number of coins that you are holding is really that huge in numbers on which it does really give out that chance that you could really be able to enjoy the game
because you do have a bigger balance in terms of token numbers on which it would really be that adding on the time spent when you do gamble.

It do really sucks when we are experiencing high fees specially if you are a Bitcoin user or enthusiast on which you do really love on making use of Bitcoin
alone but well we do have different conditions and scenarios that could happen in the network which it would really be resulting into this.

Personally I don't even count this as a problem for me became what I do is just to find an alternative deposit coins which is less cost and USDT is my preferred choice even before Bitcoin when it comes to online gambling because of the volatility that surrounds Bitcoin so choosing a coin that will give you less issue is probably the best way of tackling this issue head on and I also believe that the BTC deposit option is actually quite limited to many çasino too .

Kinda annoying for a small fish like me, today need $18 to send the BTC into the exchange then swap it with other coin.
In total I might lost $21 because of the fees before I place any bet and if I deposit with BTC the withdrawal fees will be another burden.
So, better not to gamble for a while if the deposit is less than $300.
Same problem, I just stop withdrawing from my wallet as the fees are so high to deal with for the small time gambler, I think its better to use other altcoins to gamble like Doge and LTC for a cheaper price or you can also use USDT to avoid paying higher fees. Some casinos though are allowing to credit the fund faster even if the block is still processing, better to check this on the casinos you are using.

The issue of Bitcoin fees is always a dilemma for Bitcoin users, especially those who actively use it for gambling, but if your betting capital is large, it shouldn't be a problem for you to pay a fee of up to $10.  Just think about it, if you swap your bitcoin for altcoins then you will only bet with those altcoins, unless the online gambling site where you gamble has an exchange feature in it too.  betting using bitcoin capital is much more profitable than just betting with altcoins.

The fees do not always remain high, so you can wait for the window of opportunity where the fees are low and affordable, then take that time to fund your gambling account well instead of funding your account with small amounts occasionally and paying fees for each transaction. Funding your account once with a huge amount that you have set for gambling can help you manage your money for gambling better for that month because you should be able to plan better. If you can also cannot fund your account due to the high unaffordable fees, you can still rest.

It is a big problem right now,if you want to confirm fast your deposit you should use a high fee which whenever we have such spikes in price of Bitcoin usually a lot of people are transacting and you have to pay the fee. There is no way around this unless you have some other altcoins which you can use super fast cheap fees on Litecoin network for example.Personally most of the deposits in the casino I make in Litecoin as I am mining it and this is a great way to not feel the pain of having to pay high transaction fees when you are depositing Bitcoin to the casino. If Bitcoin is your only option then you can opt to pay a lower fee and wait some time longer before it is credited to your account.

Btw, Livecasino, Sportsbet and Bitcasino credits unconfirmed deposit too.

Best thing ever and I can confirm this as recently as last week -- it's been this way for as long as I remember, and even throughout the nasty May period of congestion (try 400+ sats/byte fee).

Anyone else idiotic like me and gamble for your fees? I still don't think I pay too much for fees from my wallet (I like keeping it lean) but on casinos where you pay for high priority fees like crypto-games (CG), I like gambling a little to cover my fees. Has it ever led to a wipeout? Yes haha

Just don't use btc till it gets its shit together...

Been using BTC since 2016, it's gotten its shit together for a long time. But yeah, I do get what you mean, really, depositing 10 mbtc and paying about 7% (as of right now) for next-block confirms isn't cool but I usually don't go for rush deposits and I play sports mainly. Pay a quarter of the suggested fee, it'll confirm in time for your bet to settle. 0 confirmations doesn't care. If you win big and want to withdraw, RBF it.

using bitcoin in gambling becomes advantageous when bitcoin is in the bear market and the player also has enough skills to be able to win to the point of increasing his banking value, this is because when the bull market arrives that money that is in the player's account becomes much larger when the player converts bitcoin to fiat. Now, if the person is not watching the market and just keeps playing with bitcoin or some altcoin, then that person will run the risk of seeing their bankroll value reduced due to the drop in the price of bitcoin or altcoin. As for this fee issue, I don't see it as being a big increase like it was 4 or 5 years ago

but I believe that for players who have a small bankroll, something like 10$ in bitcoin to play, it is difficult to deposit 10$ in bitcoin in the casino and manage to win and keep 20$ in bitcoin, but at the time of withdrawal they have to be deducted. 7$ for network fee, this would mean that the player only made a profit of 3$. I don't think it's advantageous, but for people who play with more than $100, there's no problem paying these fees. players with small bankrolls should use altcoins with low fees, I like to use litecoin for my bets because the fees and withdrawal value are very low, so it makes it much easier for me

With the current fees, then yes it would really be that much a big or huge issue into those gamblers who are really that only having a few hundreds or few bucks for them to play on which the current fee as of  this moment
is really that playing around almost $20 bucks and this is something that not everyone could really afford or willing to pay for on just transferring your Bitcoin from your own wallet to a gambling site.
But if you do have tons of Bitcoin then it wont really be an issue yet these fees are just dust but for those who arent then it would really be giving that kind of pain when making transfers.  Grin

On the question, if there were gambling sites does have that zero confirmation? I dont think that they do exist nowadays. We do know that they would be at least needing to have 1 confirmation before it would credit out.
We do know that they are aware about double spending thing on which they cant really just that afford on making instant deposit on having the risks of double spending and this is why
i dont see any sites that do offer this one.

Why should you use bitcoin for gambling?
You can save up the BTC you get from a subscription campaign for a few weeks or even months and then withdraw it in one transaction. At the same time, for gambling, use your money, which can be quickly converted to one of the cryptocurrencies that don't have such high network fees and transactions are confirmed e as long as it takes on the BTC network.

I would probably not gamble with Bitcoin. The transaction fees can be avoided by choosing a coin with a blockchain that has cheap transaction fees and which is supported by your casino of choice (as they usually are). I gamble with small amounts so it matters more. Anyone who does not care about the transaction fee usually has gigantic fortunes to gamble away. So the choice between which coin does not matter much to them in the first place.

Or just ask the signature manager to deposit directly into your casino wallet? That way there is no need for paying fees on your end.

No casino will ever allow that, and that will be a risky thing for any casino to do because people will take advantage of that situation in real time, and secondly, casinos are making use of every deposit, moving it down to their cold wallet. At least that's what most centralised systems do, so they can't move an unconfirmed transaction to a safe place.

Another thing is that someone who makes such a deposit and is allowed to play a game could also be like someone who walks into a casino to make a bet on credit because the money is not yet in the casino's hands, and if the gambler ends up losing on all his games, that will stop the person from cancelling the transaction, as that could easily be done when the transaction has not undergone at least one confirmation.

I don't think there is any casino taking such a risk out there; all they can do is provide other deposit options to make things easier for their customers, if they don't already have one available. I mean, those BTC-only deposit casinos.

Have you tried converting to at least usdt? I think most casinos have such option for deposit and you won't have the issue of high fee with stablecoin.
This is the solution to the problem. Used other cryptocurrencies that is accepted by the casinos. As a gambler you have to think like a business person which is to keep your expenses very low. It makes no sense to spend more on transaction fee if there are cheaper alternatives. You can learn how to use other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and Litecoin, and also USDT mentioned above.

Bet smartly.

I think for segwit addresses it wasn't that high, I think it's more high using Ethereum and that thing sucks compare to the former. I think if you can trade-off on selling your bitcoin to some altcoins that have lower transaction fees that are supported by your casino, then, I suggest you go with that path.

I have not used a casino that has lightning network. If many casinos can adopt it, it would be good. I will not have to use altcoin for gambling in time like this anymore.

You can see some gambling sites that support lightning network: https://cryptogambling.com/casinos/lightning-network

Are there all gambling platform supported with btc deposit trough Segwit address? right now bitcoin is not best option for depositing to gambling or casino account high transaction and delay more than one until two hours. Need prepare for long time before depositing bitcoin fund in gambling platform with usually credit without few minutes but right now have waiting more than two hours.
Usually I used fiat for depositing in gambling platform account and run smooth without waiting longer than bitcoin, but I want to try with my signature payment on the weekend will get faster block confirmation and credit without delay in gambling casino?

For the same reasons, there are no casino that accepts non-confirmation deposits. Every of I know needs at least three confirmations.
A few days ago, I got a recommended fees of $14 in bitcoins in an online wallet.
The thing with bitcoin is you need to plan your transactions and achieve your goals with minimum numbers of transactions.
You need to use Non-custodial wallets like Electrum, use segwit addresses and decrease the recommended fee if you are not in a hurry.
There are congestion at times but they get eased in a few hours.

You can simply wait until the tx fees are back to lower rates and then withdraw.
There are some casinos which has an inbuilt exchange and so you can exchange to altcoins with cheaper tx fees and then withdraw.
There's nothing much you can do other than these.

I used to gamble on some casinos that have zero confirmation but didn't last long there, have a hard time seeing myself spending bitcoin to gamble when I almost always lose when I gamble. Best decision I did is just to switch to an altcoin so it's not that difficult when I deal with transactions, Litecoin's probably the best altcoin to use for gambling but that's just my opinion, some people are using other altcoins but for me it works just fine.

Indeed, it seems fees won't give us a break for a while as the fever for Ordinals and other shit-tokens continue to have some popularity within the Bitcoin community, but I disgress.
Most of the occasions when I decides Bitcoin fees are too high for relatively small transactions, like depositing on a casino or paying for a small gift card, I always try to have a little bit of Altcoins to handle occasions like these ones. I know it may not a solution for everyone, though.
When comes to specific coins I personally like Litecoin and Dash, though, Dash has lately fallen off glory (and price) for the allegations against it by the SEC in the United States.

There are 2 solutions.

1- Use the Lightning Network
2- Use some other altcoin

The fees are outrageous right now. Lightning Network isn't widely adopted yet and that leaves me no other choice than using alts sadly. My current favorite alt is doge. It only costs a 2-3 doge to make withdrawals from the exchanges and it costs nothing to make regular transactions. It is fairly stable and has good adoption. LTC is my second favorite. You can find these alts almost on every crypto casino.

It was around 50 sat/vbyte region before 48 hours but now again it's getting crazy and right now we can see the price at 150sat-200sat/vb for medium to high priority transactions which is like $10 for 1 input and 1 output TX.

Well, I am not gonna deposit BTC at the moment to gambling site and if you want then choose alternative cryptos until the spam attack clears from BTC network but for an average gambler like high rollers $10 fee is not that big problem at all.

When I notice that the transaction fee is high, I refrain from gambling for a while. It's a bit regrettable to pay such a steep fee even if I often end up losing, hehe, since we can see the amount before we send. What I do when I'm really into a game, especially if there's a tempting promotion I want to join or pursue, is closely monitor the network activity and use the average estimation fee tool. Sometimes, if I have some stored altcoin, I use that for betting in the casino as long as it's also supported

Well Roobet KYC almost all of their members so I doubt that someone with KYC already submitted will attempt to double spend their deposit while their ID is on the casino. They can be ban even on other casino by doing that thing due to the KYC.

The problem on crediting unconfirmed deposit is the waiting time for withdrawal. I’m a victim of this on multiple occasions and lose a lot of profit including my original bankroll just because I lose patience on waiting for my deposit to be confirmed in able for me to withdraw my funds.

Swap your BTC into an altcoin which has a cheaper transaction fee and as soon as you betting session is over, swap the profit made immediately into BTC once again, or move larger chunks of BTC in a single transaction to dilute the fees' costs, instead of making many small BTC transactions and paying huge fees in the end.

I’m sure player like me that relying only on signature campaign payment in Bitcoin is having a hard time to play right now since the fee is insanely high.
Well, my signature campaign pays me directly to my casino's balance, so it's not an issue after all. I don't have to pay any fees to deposit money at the casino in order to play. The only concern is when cashing out the money, so what I try to do is what I told above: to accumulate maximum coins as possible and make a single withdrawal, so I also pay a single fee only once every 3 weeks or once a month.
