First of all, find a roadmap of the project to see what developers are going to do in future, read the reviews maybe if there are, think about whether the project will be useful and modern in this time, what problems it can solve and etc. Then you can add your personal feelings about project

lets say I have a thousand of a coin that is worth 3 cents now. how do I do the math to find out what it'd be worth at 5 cents?
