Quick note: In addition the right clock you also need the right timezone - careful when travelling.

I broke my phone recently and lost access to Google Auth. I had my auth key setup but how can I setup a new Google Auth without a phone?

At last I found the error: WE were the DAU:

Smartphone needs to have a CORRECT clock! That means you have to enable "Time Sychronization" in Android! And it works Smiley

I've installed Google Authenitcator and scanned the code from BitStamp's site.   I see an authentication number for @Bitstamp in Authenitcator.  I try to use this as the "verification code" under Account > Settings > Two-Factor Authentication on BitStamp, but it doesn't work.

I've emailed them about this and they haven't responded.

Just logined to bitstamp with no problem, using Google Authenticator. Roll Eyes

Due to the general shittiness of MtGox I would like to try other exchanges.  BitStamp looks nice, but I won't use a service I can't have 2-factor authentication on.  Right now, setting it up doesn't seem to be working.
