The best thing to do or take as action now is to just lock the thread, since there is no much you demand form it again as before and it has already been edited out, lock it or if reported the moderator may help you make that faster by doing it themself.
Maybe he didn't understand the locking thing; that's why he didn't lock the post because it's new. He went offline on December 9th and didn't come back online, so maybe he couldn't see it.

OP i can see that you have already edited out the content to your post or maybe choose to leave it that way since you have gotten enough replies in response to your question.

Does it mean that for an account to be recovered after lock or hack one need to be with original mail and the first address associated to the account right?
Okay good! But what if the person change account mail but still have the first address associated to the account wouldn't they restore his account?

The original email associated with the account is more crucial because not all accounts have a wallet address tied to them

If you changed the original email and still have access to it, you should send an email from it because it increases your chances of retrieving your account.

He just said he has signed a message and left messages to theymos and Cyrus and no response yet, as we all know Cyrus is part of the recovery team.

OP If the messages are not from the original account email you're wasting your time that's how it works. Sending PM on the forum is waste of time.

No it ain't.
I did my recovery with another email since I didn't have access to my previous account.
They can send a pm to any of the recovery team and as long as there's a signed message from a forum used wallet address
They would be answered
Just answer some questions asked honestly and you Good.
I'm quite surprised it took that long
Mine did because of a mistake on my part while signing a message
At most with no issues, your query can be completed in two weeks or a month.
Then by this we can point to only two things, either the Op is not applying the account recovery process in the right steps as required which is why the account is still locked, or the recovery team are just taking their time in attending to his application for reasons best known to them.
I think the op should give it some patient to see where that may lead but incase he's not yet attended to after a long time, I'll advise he just bump the thread stead of recreating a new one.

Thats true. I remember when you had these issues and it took over a month before I saw you back on the forum.
If truly the account belongs to the said user and a message signed with one or two addresses used buy the person of course the account will be recovered.
Also don't be surprised it took that long for your account to be recovered. The admin must make sure they have 80% to 90% clarity so they don't give the account to a false owner. Becuase it is possible that anyone who hacks someone else account could possibly go for the wallets too. These hackers are being better day by day.

Maybe the mods should update their posts to say they are no longer recovering accounts?

This will help a lot of the confusion currently happening.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cryptios-5138349

Maybe users with urgent requests should consider responding to emails in less than three years. Definitely would help with the confusion !

PM sent with info !

I can confirm that a message was signed by a key pair mentioned on a forum post.

Mod need to understand that some of these old accounts link to our real identities due to poor op sec.

I don't want someone to be able to trace 2011 holding back to me and hurt my family. Not replying at all is putting people in danger, at the very least a sign request from 2021 should have been answered by now.

What do you mean linked your your real life identity, did you open the account with your real name ? Did you add your home address on your account profile? If Yes, you know there are hundreds of people with the same name as you, only few individuals have a unique name, I'm really curious how you intend to cover up or remove your real life identity from the account.

I don't even think the email you are told to reply to when logging into a locked account was updated, I get [email protected]

In this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/recovering-hackedlost-accounts-5089777  it's [email protected]
It may not be the new email used or perhaps [email protected] is for locked accounts while [email protected] is for locked accounts? Maybe @Cyrus @Rizzrack @3dOOm can chip in and help?

Yes, we all know that Cyrus is the part of recovery team as I also just to know that also three person alanst, 3dOOm, and Rizzrack who were also working for this officially Although these three person were from Cryptios employees which is created by the Cyrus. If Cyrus is not responding then thefreshprinceofbell can also contact them with his details.

For your information, alanst is no longer part of the team

At most with no issues, your query can be completed in two weeks or a month.

I saw that the OP has multiple topics on the same locked account and was informed what to do, yet he keeps creating new ones rather than bumping older ones. Tell me more about OP and why his account is still locked; if he can't follow simple instructions, he might be doing other things wrong as well.
At some point, majority of the cases like this is that ops have failed build the proper follow-up and waiting time, because when an account is locked, only theymos have the right to unlock such an account if I am not mistaken, and because of the large amount of cases at his desk, he gave to take long time before visiting accounts lock cases so for that such request takes longer time and ops have to keep being patient a d following ups with sending reminders may be at two weeks interval because that is the only way to get the theymos attention at the moment, I am sure is ops can follow all the processes and keep up with requirements such as signing a message from the old wallet being used on this forum and also trying to keep the other threads active and lock this one because having a multiple threads won't help his matter but keeping in touch with just one thread can do better.

All the best ops and hope you get your issues resolved pretty soon

I followed this guide:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/recovering-hackedlost-accounts-5089777

sent a signed message but never received a response.  I even have been PMing Cyrus and theymos since 2021 and they won't reply.

If you're not getting any acknowledgment after signing a message and sending PM to the admins, i will employ you to recheck and reconfirm if you're actually using the right procedure or not, and are you sure you have checked in the email used in registration of the account, something might have dropped over there, it may be on the junks or spam and your other major inbox, if everything concerning the conditions required are well satisfied, then i will employ you to apply some patience for the to work on it.

I don't know reasons of your account lock, but if you clicked on Secret Question change, your account will be locked.

I have also read that I am saying this in case of preventing hacked accounts or sold accounts the recovery team can also ask to sign a message from a specific wallet address what the account holder used before.

Yes, we all know that Cyrus is the part of recovery team as I also just to know that also three person alanst, 3dOOm, and Rizzrack who were also working for this officially Although these three person were from Cryptios employees which is created by the Cyrus. Have you signed messages with the same address what was asked by the forum recoveries teams? I don't think they will lock your account even if you sign the correct message.

By the way, why don't you mentioned the profile of yours and also the wallet address with the message sign? I think it will increase the possibility.
