Hey thank you guys for your support, I made this thread right after a big fresh loss and I am fine now Cheesy took the advice of the beer guy above and just sat around doing nothing for a while and it works lol.

You all are beautiful, If I had some BTC I'd tip everyone of of ya.

I have made a new plan now, I have decided that from Monday I am just going to focus on work, make some money and on next Saturday, I'll buy some Bitcoins and make up for all my losses once and for all.

PS: Thanks Serena, you're really pretty Smiley

Imma close this thread now.
Thanks

How did you get a frown face on your topic? Who is marking these topics?

You can choose an emoticon for your topic when you create a topic.

Another thing to add, OP: If you've reached the point where you can't cope with losses, you need to stop gambling. Period. No arguing, it's clearly a problem for you.

As long as you have your health, happiness and just enough money to get by then everything is ok. You shouldn't put all of your money into gambling anyway.

This month has not been too good for me as far as Gambling luck goes, last month wasn't great either but this one was real bad and I tried and tried but kept going further down the hole and right now kind of feeling a little angry and sad at the same time as I lost it all today, everything I had saved so far.

And so.. I was just wondering how do you guys deal with losses.

The best way to learn is by your own errors, i think we all need to get in a deep hold to learn that gambling lesson and i know what bad taste it leave.

I deal with it having 2 wallets, the hot wallet for bets and cold wallet for profits.

you need to have a goal, for example; you can send from the hot wallet to the cold one 0.1 every time you get 0.12 that way you keep a 0.02 bankroll and you can keep rolling with that.

But if you lose that 0.02, stop playing and then next day take 0.02 from the cold wallet to start again... that way if you are luck you will get 0.1 profit but if you are not, you will only lose 0.02

This way have 2 great sides.

1.-You never lose all
2.-the profit is always bigger than the lost

Well it doesn't matter how much I lose its the losing. I tell myself it isn't real money or I get drunk which helps sometimes. As long as you have only lost Bitcoin and not fiat your safe. My running total is around 30 BTC which isn't much compared to others so I know a little about losing.

Generally by not gambling anything that I wouldn't be okay with losing.

This is the golden rule. I only bet a fixed amount every week on sports and if I lose I lose and wait until the next week. I'm currently a few hundred in profit this season and have never had any net losses so far so I don't know the feeling of losing a substantial amount but I know how any loses can make you feel and the buzz you get from winning but if you can't handle these you have a problem. If you think gambling has become a problem for you which it looks like it has I'd just really try learn from the experience and cut your loses before it gets worse. You might have lost all your money now but you can lose even more or even get into debt.

Anyway, I don't cry or worry about losses. I just remind myself that it could be worse, and that I just have to find a way to calm down. If I fail or make an action that makes my living situation worse, I have to forgive myself and learn from the mistake. Move on from it, and become a better person.

Sometimes a person might find themselves making the same mistakes. In some cases that is normal, only because you didn't get much of a lesson teaching you not to do it later on, or because you were placed in an uncomfortable position that in a way forced you to do it again. That in mind is something you have no control over, but you do have control on your reactions. Losses will happen, but sometimes it's really not your fault. Sometimes it's actually someone else's fault. Being an adult and figuring out what you have control over, and what is and isn't your fault is key to bettering yourself, and quite possibly the people around you.

There are some points people should understand BEFORE gambling:

1. You will lose. Yes, you are meant to lose sooner or later, you can win some, but sooner or later you will lose. So be ready.
2. Gamble only wish your spare money. Money you can afford to LOSE without any harm to you or your family.
3. If you lose every penny from your gambling budget - do not play anymore. If you play nonetheless - you are addicted. Seek help.

I don't really gamble but gambling should he treated as a form of entertainment and not a platform to make profit. Put some funds that is reasonably low to gamble. If you win, keep the profit and walk away. If you don't, the bankroll wouldn't have been too much and you won't be particularly sad either.

what i do is stare in the nothingness then drink some beer
then rethink what i did then start earning again and forget
what i lost.try it might work for you.

sorry for your loss gambling is a very risky investment so try and gamble moderately
to avoid losing all that you saved.

If you can't cope with what you lost, why were you gambling that amount in the first place? If you can't cope with a loss, why are you gambling at all?
