Ad maiora!
Jeez
Stay off Twitter for a start
Maybe consider avoiding the internet all together

Eventually
The medium informs the content
The Internet is quickly becoming a vortex of click bait and marketing schemes
It has been for a while but it's becoming more about traffic than anything valuable found in content

And people keep telling me Kim kardashian is actually contributing something valuable to civilization

The 20 teens are making the 80s look like 1910

Man, I really hate people like you. Imagine yourself showing something useful for free money, explaining for hours, making a nice thread etc etc and then an idiot comes with the most useful information in the world, I DON'T WANT TO USE YOUR REFERRAL LINK I WON'T MAKE YOU ANY MONEY YOU FUCKER, rly man? Cry me a river.

Wow, you hate people like me? What does that mean (your comments wee kind of sporadic)?

I never said I didn't want to be someone's referral, I made two points

1) how do I know if I'm Simone's referral?

2) if we all used the sites we were referred to we'd all make some money!

You shouldn't assume people have ill intentions, it's an awful way to go through life.

Is there a way to know if someone is getting paid referrals off my bitcoin-relate actions.

I know we can see when a link is a referral link, but how do I know if I've clicked on a referral link and my activity is paying someone money? Think of all the gambling or faucet sites you've clicked on, who's making money off of you? Who are you making money off of?

If we all have referrals and we've all been referred, we could all make money if we all got active - if you're a subscriber to a gambling site, a faucet, or a dice game...get active...maybe we'll all get some nice referral pay as a result!

this will depend if site will show your down line usernames or hide it with just numbers instead of usernames

There needs to be a reason for a site to provide such data.  Like with rakeback in poker for example people who sign up under affiliates have a reason to know what they earnt in comission.  If people found out affiliates made a killing off their sign ups that might put off some people from clicking on links.

I think some sites don't tell you this because of privacy reasons, also to avoid certain exploits which can lead to attacks, so maybe in some cases it's better not to know.

Just writing some code
Usually there is an option in account settings of most sites where you can set who your referrer is. You can see if that is set and then you can see who referred you. Typically you can change that to another person or to no one.

The site should have a referral option showing how many referrals you have, but I do not know of any service, where you can trace, who is profiting from you using their referral link. I join a gambling site affiliate system, and it shows me the username of the person who signed up with my referral.

It's also a pity that they do not make provision for a chat utility where you can communicate with your referrals. I would like to have weekly bonuses or cash back competitions for my best referrals, but I do not have a way to communicate with them.

Different sites show you different data. For most I guess you just have to trust that the data or sign ups have been rightfully credited. I remember on Primedice you could see who signed up through your ref link and how much they had wagered and your commision from that but they removed it.
