No such feature available in the forum, but I do hope there will be one in the future. At the moment, I go to my past posts just to see if someone quoted me. It is kinda tedious but it is the way I go about it.

well you can always check the menu "Show new replies to your posts" next to your avatar, top left corner
it will list all threads that you have posted something in it,
at least it tells you which thread has new posts since you read it last time, so you stay updated

Hi Thirdplace,

Thank you for answer. I know about this function and have using it already.
The major problem with this function is that it just shows all the new messages. But if I have posted in a very active thread, say, a thread on a hot cryptocurency, it will be extremely useful to learn about any new answers to my particular question, since the discussion - in such threads - might veer dramatically in just a couple of hours and it would be extremely hard for me to find out whether any answer to MY question have been posted.
Should I have the same objective and the need to look for answers in 10 threads, this can be an extremely big workload.
So, right now, I've decided that I will be using the "see All + ctrl+F Function + print version" strategy. I think that this modus operandi will be the most beneficial, accounting for the circumstances in place.
The major drawback is that I'll have to do that every morning, but I think it's worth it.
It's all because of this posting. If there were no shit posting at this forum, I would be totally open to reading the five altcoin-based threads every morning, but the shitposting makes it copletely impossible and useless thing to do.

If I have just posted a question on this forum, how can I learn that somebody has quoted me?
I think that this would a very useful option because this would immediately notify me as to any answers that might be exactly linked to my question.
You won't know if anyone else quoted you... the feature doesn't exist on this forum.
yes I agree that would very useful for keeping track conversation or important replies

No. Something I do sometimes is to go to the forum frontpage and search my name in the searchbox. It doesn't work everytime, but you can see a few posts where you got quoted.

And before you ask, there is no "someone quoted you" notification in the forum.

You can't. The only kind of "notification" you can enable is the notification on new posts in a specific thread or forum board.

This feature will probably be available in the new forum software that should be releasing in the future. No ETA yet

Ok, well it's good to know that we are going to get this function in the next update. I guess, it's that very important, but it's a good thing to have.

About searching your name - yeah, I get you, Ninja. I think I might actually trying to do this in a couple of months, when my exposure is growing high.

About the notification. I think I need to learn more about them. i'm gonna do some research on the watchlist tomorrow and maybe learn how I can use it do look for quotes, like 1. open all watch-listed topics, click all pages, ctrl+F your name.

Here's the first link on "how to use watchlist" that I found in Google. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/watchlist-90136

Hi guys,

I've got the following question:
If I have just posted a question on this forum, how can I learn that somebody has quoted me?
I think that this would a very useful option because this would immediately notify me as to any answers that might be exactly linked to my question.
I understand that it might just be easier to read the the thread every time you get online in order to look for any answers that people might have left since it's quite probably that people would live me an answer without directly quoting me, but their answer might still be pertinent to my question.
But I still think that this option would be useful.

Do you know whether there are any options that you can utilize to learn about that you've just been quoted?
