look for cudaminer if you are using Nvidia GPUs. Cudaminer is optimized for Nvidia.

Unfortunately some people on the forums should stay out of the newbie section I think. If you don't want to help then leave, nobody forced you to click the post, read it and post a snarky comment.

CGminer look it up

Seriously, it seems like newbies come here to ask something they could just google.

use the fucking google, it's the greatest learning tool in the history of mankind.

Also, try to appreciate it.  Smiley

That's the thing though, I have google'd it but I haven't reached a good conclusion. Apparently I am mining with my GPU and 10 KH/S is the best I can do. Thanks for the replies everyone.

Why this forum created then? If no users would ask this question there will be no results on google.

At 10Kh/s you will be losing lots of money but if you think mining is cool go for it  Grin

It's possible that 10kH/s is the speed for the 610, what settings are you using?

Have a mining rig

I have a Nvidia GT 610, not the mobile laptop version, (I know nvidia sucks at mining, etc) and want to mine with it. I have mined with cgminer before and  I average about 10 KH/s assuming its mining with my CPU.
At this point, if you want to mine Litecoin with a GPU you're best off building a custom Litecoin mining rig. That link has full build guide for 2x, 4x and 6x GPU rigs using off-the-shelf computer parts.

Probably you won't get more. It's not worth mining even if someone pays for your electricity. You'll get about 1 pizza a month and your computer will be slowed down.

If your really want to mine with it, then you should try out some miner supporting CUDA.
