by Market Cap ? Circulating Supply ? or volume 24 hours or all ? (im new to this ..looking for a advise  Smiley )

I'm predicting through the signals of different trading experts. This is a way better to predict a good price of bitcoin.

Also the circulation of supply is a good idea on how big a coin can be ending up.

But if you want accurate prediction you should on who are the developers behind that coin if they are dedicated to that coin.

Market cap, volume, and circulating supply are few considerations. They are also vital as to the coin's future. But aside from these considerations, you also need to look at the current status of the project, any future plans and deals and partnerships, as well as whether the actual project is improving and gaining support. Because if the project is doing bad, the coin is useless already.
That is true , just look at ethereum partnership with a super big company microsoft .
It makes the price of ethereum boosted so sharp to the highest level.
And also comparing between one exchange to another is a good way to get reference.

Cryptocurrency is different from forex or stocks. You cannot simply predict the price trend by doing technical analysis. For me, I can better predict the price trend by analyzing the sentiments of the market. I read much here on the forum and if I see some coins getting attention, I predict it will go higher. I cannot predict how much but I will know it will be profitable.

As he says, you never will predict a price of a cryptocurrency, the max you can do is to try to calcule the possible price with fundamental or technical analysis, wich uses the market "emotion" to help the trader to make profit, and only that.

I believe that sentiment and fundamentals are priced into the chart (at least eventually). If an asset is being accumulated for fundamental reasons, for example, we will see technical signs of accumulation in the charts (cup and handles, bullish trading ranges with buy signals above, etc). I've done pretty well overall analyzing altcoins from a technical perspective, rather than researching fundamentals.

My prediction is the price will peak around $5,500 (give or take $500).
Then it will collapse over the the next few years.
When it bottoms at $1,000-1,500 it will begin rising again slowly and eventually surpass $10,000.

I hope you're right. It feels like it'll never stop going up. Being able to accumulate below $2000 again would be amazing, though I have my doubts. I recently lost a bunch of coins and it feels tough to recover while the price is rocketing like this. At least I've still got my cold storage, but it's tough to lose a bunch of coins right before a major rally. I feel like I know how the Silk Road folks must have felt in 2013...
In my opinion we can't predict fluctuation of coin price if they have no basis. That's why as my basis, I predict coins and altcoins price base on their past value and their current value. I think this is a good guide to determine the the possibility future price of each coins and altcoins in the market.

Yes thats right so its is much better while checking it in the coin market you must check also the project. Monitoring coin and at the same the project. Help you a lot.
You are really right that those people buying which coins they needs to while checking it in the coin market because if they don't check the coin market cap and without checking start trading they cannot earn more income in the coin its results is loss because in every trading checking the market cap and its supply must be very important.

We can not predict the price of the coin buy by watching the daily status of the coin and by checking the progress of the project we can guess what is the future of the coin. I don't have time to look all these, so I will do small research will check the investors and users reviews based on that I will invest.

Predicting the price changes in any market is tough.

Long term price trends of a coin are a fairly reliable indicator of where its value could be headed in the future.

But the key is information if you want to do a positive prediction.

It's not like every coin could be predictable but there are some indicators a good trader would use in it's benefit to predict a positive outcome.

Do some research, select some coins and try to study there paterns and use it in your advantage.

A good portion of information on how to learn these tricks are available online.

1) You have to analyse the potential use of a certain coin for the people. Ethereum for example is an interesting coin in regards to transparent online gambling. So I personally see a huge growth potential for this coin in future.

2) Try to find out how many people in % already use this coin and how many people likely will use it in the foreseeable future

If you have done these steps, than you are far ahead of other investors who try to predict coin prices. Wink

by Market Cap ? Circulating Supply ? or volume 24 hours or all ? (im new to this ..looking for a advise  Smiley )

There's a lot of factors to predict a price of coin it's not just all about the market cap the supply or volumes of trade.

It should be cause by the positive / negative news and on how good the developers of that coin.

By those additional factors you can identify if that coin is a good or bad one then you can give your predictions with it.
Yep, there are numerous factors that decide the future of a coin. First of all the technology used and the project supporting that coin matters a lot. If the project is interesting and is able to get funds and investors, then obviously coin is going to be among the top coins at exchanges. Next comes the demand and supply of the coin and thirdly this market cap also plays a significant role in predicting the future of the coins.

You have got everything on your list that I really consider for trading any coin in the market. Yes market cap is important to know as you would predict how the particular coin project is doing int he market. Without it no coin can really survive for longer times. Circulating supply is always limited but to be honest sometimes dev hold particular amount and then relates the coins to balance the market. So less supply would cause more demand and more demand would lead to higher prices. So better check for it always. Coming to your 24 hours volume I'm little concern with it always because it fluctuates a lot with pump groups which I don't see as real data. It can lead to misleading info and wrong predictions. Else is good and enough to predict the coin performance.

Can't exactly predict though. You can look for tips online and in threads like these but that still won't assure you that you'll have a good result. Just try trading with small amounts and you'll formulate good strategies yourself that can land you good trades

I'm guessing you're referring to altcoins. I look for long term accumulation. I look for a nice, long, base that looks like the bottom of a bowl on a price chart. Then I wait for a spike outside of the trading range. Then I buy into the following flag/correction. After that, it's usually off to the races.

Doing prediction is not so easy. First you need to research about the coin that you want to buy.Take your look on coin road map, creator, team, total supply etc. those are the best thing to know about any coin future.try to get regular update about the coin. Bitcointalk announcement thread and coin telegram/slack also a great place for getting regular update.

I'm looking for a coin update if there special announcement or launch in the coin development . Volume Also is good for day trading to base on but if you are a long term trader of altcoins , what i do is monitoring its projects and waiting for the right moment when i have a feeling that it will have a huge price pump. Circulating coin supply and market cap will don't predict a coins price .coinmarketcap states its current price in the market.

My speculation is coming from the updated news and and the market trend, and it also can be seen from the transaction volume, with this three points we can predicted the price, not always can be correct but it helps me a lot of time when I want to trade
The important when use technical analysic for crypto market is suppy and demand, if you can understand it, earning profit on market very easy with you because you can know when is highest price and nobody can't continue buy it => Take profit before drop down.

I don't know how to predict it exactly, I just follow the market, when the price is dropping it's time to watch, then when the price start changing and moving up it's time to buy. When the price stop increasing you can sell it, so what you get with this is profit. For me it's not an exactly science full of methods to read the charts, etc... I just follow the feeling and hope for the best (talking about Bitcoin or main AltCoins only, not those flash fake ICOs).

So do I. No more scientific method and etc. Just following my instinct, some news and watching the market if how a certain coin is behaving. And sometimes consulting my friends that has a lot experience than me. When I feel like the price will be enough for me then thats it. No but's and if's.
Actually the technical analysic when trading just helps us understand the emotion of trader on market, the main reason make the price of cryptocurrency increasing or decreasing are by the mentality trader and community use them. So if you can understand their emotion, you can get rich.
Trading is one of the basis to determine the good price of any coins in the market, also if you're a traders it easy for you to predict the future value of any altcoins in the crytocurrencies industry. In addition my answer in the question is I predict the coin price base on the past and current value of coins. Therefore, sometimes I join to the situation of coins to easily predict their future value.

I predict the price of a coin by technical analysis and intuition. First i look at the chart of a coin and see whether its moving in an upward trend or downward trend. After following the trend in the chart i see it moving averages and see whether its a good time to buy or sell and then based on the previous wave of the coin i predict the price of the coin . The price i predict doesn't accurately come true but gives me profit most of the time and loss sometimes. Compared to the losses i have made more profits till date.

Predicting is just a like a pure random guess but on doing trading its not actually random since i do make some research about the project, its potential its devs and volume. This is one of my indications if i do decide to buy a particular coins but these kind of habits or indications doesnt work anytime but atleast it does give you some percentage on making money later on.

To do predict about any coin you must need to research about the coin.you need to follow the coin before 1 week.then you can predict any coin. For researching marketcap and 24 hours value is more important.
Predicting the movement of a coin is not an impossible feat, It can be achieved by doing researches and studying the coin's chart However, It requires time and effort. Numerous successful traders always says that research is required in trading, You can't just go straight in and invest to any coin that you just want or else you will lose the money.

I'm no expert but i can say that if you're uncertain about the trade you will make, hold the coin and wait patiently for the perfect opportunity. Always remember the quote "haste makes waste" .You don't have to rush things, just wait patiently.

I don't used market capitalization, or volume as there are all lagin indicators. I do predict price movement through pin bar of price action. Charting and candlestick interpretation is the best ways to know traders mind and know what will happen in future. If you know how to interpret candlestick bars you can easily know what is in the mind or having knowledge of the insiders secret. What ever has happened historically are already being interpret on candlestick chart pattern.

Predicting cryptocurrency often becomes complicated and doesn't overtakes our expectations. But sometimes it becomes really easy as recently during fork and split, nearly most predicted Bitcoin will rise and you can see the results. Also market news and movements around the world helped me many times to reach my predictions or atleast went near to it.

No one will predict the market price. it is completely unpredictable. If we can predict the price of the coin, then no one will lose money in trading. One more thing if any knows which coin is going to high and which is going low he/she they will never share that information with others because it is business tactics if they share that they will lose their profit.
Perhaps many users of coin traders have already worked out some kind of professional flair, and therefore they can easily determine the exchange rate, which can go up or fall. But as for me, I'm still a beginner, it's very hard for me to do it and I use the automatic machine when I set the maximum or minimum.
Well even i am long time traders i can say that i don't know what will be the price of an altcoin because those are unpredictable price..
My own trick only if there are some coins are decrease from high price i buy some altcoin which is already decrease from high value and i only choose to invest those are already in a good rankings ..
I can make profit because i just wait and patiently to increase back again and making profit. .
So be patience in order to make a profit but sometimes there are altcoin never increase back again.. so i think sell it and change altcoin to invest this is just what i do and i can say i can make a profit but sometimes lose..

No one will predict the market price. it is completely unpredictable. If we can predict the price of the coin, then no one will lose money in trading. One more thing if any knows which coin is going to high and which is going low he/she they will never share that information with others because it is business tactics if they share that they will lose their profit.

by Market Cap ? Circulating Supply ? or volume 24 hours or all ? (im new to this ..looking for a advise  Smiley )

Here is a piece of advice dude, do not bother to research because coins are unpredictable. If you still consider your self as newbie then I suggest you just buy the top 3 altcoins and keep them until they pump.

Bitcoins could be predicted, just follow the news... bad news causes slight dump, then eventually it would go up again... buy at dump!  Cool

Most of the factors as well as if the coin was sold during an ICO, there can be huge fluctuations when investors and bounty participants dump their coins or sell it at a low rate. If the supply and trading volume is above 100 BTC, the coin survives for long (6 months+) and also the market volume plays an important role.

There are sometimes huge pumps made by some scam groups. They pump the coin and then the price drops almost on the same day within 24 hours. That shouldn't be a factor considered. Consider the analysis of atleast a week.

To predict a coin or bitcoin price movement you must gather historical information about that coin. The easiest way to analyse coins data is through chatting or prices market action. Volume is good indicator but it cannot give you passed information about the coin

Yeah, the analysis will also be crucial in order to predict a good token or coin market price. Another thing is observing the market prices and their timeline but of course this may only be a small factor in terms of effecting the market prices. Buyers and sellers greatly affect the market price and  we can hardly predict when will a pump or a dump will happen. We can not predict what the users or the holders have in mind. What I do is I set an order to my desired price that I think is reachable but sometimes it can be stressful and disappointing especially if the market price exceeds your suspected price.

Coinmarketcap only helps us to update all information about the value of a currency on the market, it is the place to provide accurate information, so you can fully trust it. It can not predict the value of a coin, but it can assist us to do that.

Since technical analysis seems to be not so efficient in this type of market, which has very low liquidity, I simply try to use as benchmarks the performances of other currencies, with similar technologies, that are already on the market for more time.

Market cap doesn't has significant effect to predict a coin price, nor does supply in circulation.
Volume in 24 hours may a good sign about how much people really interested to the coin.
But, avoid to invest on random coins without any usability or never rise again after fallen.
I prefer to buy some famous coins such as ethereum, monero, zcash or gigabyte even though the prices seems more expensive than other shit coins.

If you want to find a coin which increases ten fold then join a good pump and dump group but you won't make a profit for a long time. Search on your own, what I do is, I search for new upcoming ICO's and check whether it got any real time applications and invest in them. Usually after some time when it hits good exchanges, I think about selling them.

All this could help in some estimations and estimations can also be wrong, but actualy there is no way to predict the price. Because if there was such method then everyone would know when the price will be going up or down and when to hold or sell and no one will lose the money. In other words I don't beleive in price predictions.

Analyze the charts, price trends, market cap, supply, development  & developers.
Watch for announcements, exciting features, if the coin is solving existing problems that others don't. General research.
Then there's marketing and news coverage.

Based on all of the above you can take a shot at making an educated guess.

Actually you are right. You can actually predict a coin's price by it's circulating supply. The market cap determine how popular the token is. Also it's volume. But there are some things which are missing. You need to know the feature of the token. You know some tokens are just replicating other feature just to attract investors. You need to be careful about that because some of them are just creating tokens to scam people. Also one of the indicator if the token you buy is good is their community. Most good tokens have good community and active dev team. That means they are determine to make the project successful.

There are alot of factors that can affect the price of cryptocurrencies.

1. News: always be updated on the news, join the subreddit of that certain cryptocurrency so you know if there's a new update or collaboration with a certain company/organization.

2. Looking at exchange sites: look at the offers and the buy/sell walls on exchanges for you to have an idea on how much and how many people are buying and selling at certain price points.

3. Hype: one of the main indicators of price rises. If you see so much people hyping up a certain cryptocurrency on Facebook groups, Slack groups, Telegram groups, etc, then expect a cryptocurrency to pump in price or atleast have a small bump in price.

These are just some things that can help you predict prices. But there signs aren't 100% guatanteed to help you predict price rises and drops.

Wow too many factors. Some coins even just pump depending on distribution factors. I often look at past projects, competitors, and some other aspects. Remember most people do not know the difference between speculative and actual value.

There's a lot of factors to predict a price of coin it's not just all about the market cap the supply or volumes of trade.

It should be cause by the positive / negative news and on how good the developers of that coin.

By those additional factors you can identify if that coin is a good or bad one then you can give your predictions with it.

I will just quote my reply to a previos topic.

Quote
do you know how to make a big profit in trading

Sure, gatekeep good coins, buy them at the bottom and sell at the top. Now to accomplish this, you have to research all the coins on coinmarketcap.com, then list them as good and bad, and you research more on the coins you listed as good, follow the projects/team/dev members on twitter, subscribe to the subreddit, join the project on Telegram messenger or Slack. This is because in the world of shitcoin trading, its usually 80% fundamental analysis and 20% technical analysis. So by following the team on social media, instant messenger chat rooms, you stay up to date with the developments and happenings around the coin, and then using technical analysis you determine your entry and exit price levels. (Some good recommendations on technical indicators/analysis are: Stoch-RSI, MACD, OBV, Elliot waves, fibbonaci extensions and retracements) and memorize the chart patterns and triangles.

Good luck!
