For the most security, look at the links Newar posted.  Cold storage using good methods is most secure, but less convenient.

The best place to get your addresses is the one which you trust that it will generate the addresses in a secure best practice way. blockchain.info recently have not been part of that.

Many people are happy with what their wallet does, others prefer bitaddress.org or scripts like this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-python-paper-wallet-generator-with-strong-randomness-361092

Do your research and pick what you are comfortable with.

There are a lot of methods used to generate your address. But in terms of security,  blockchain wallet is for hot wallet for keeping small amount of bitcoin for daily spending. There are a lot of wallet apps (https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet), the most popular is the official one Bitcoin Core. To secure your secure keys, you need to set up complex passphase.
