Thank you PowerGlove and Cricktor for providing the suggestions.
I didn't know about the patch you worked PowerGlove. Now, I can imagine why theymos were convinced to fix it as soon as possible. Probably because a multiple solution to this issues is already available as you guys already pointed out. Since the forum is working fine, probably theymos is waiting to have some free time when he can review these codes again. Or it is possible he planned to review the code in free time but he forgot about it later. So, it's better to bump that thread again to get his attention.

Haha, yeah. I would, but, as Cricktor has pointed out, I've actually already fixed this one.

Until the patch gets merged, you'll have to rely on one of the many workarounds that people have discovered.

Haha, I can see why that patch might have occurred to you, but, yeah, it doesn't apply. Tongue

But, while it's on my mind: I'd appreciate it if someone who thinks that patch is worthwhile (maybe @hugeblack?) would bump it. (I've run out of patience myself trying to convince theymos that that patch is worth merging, so at this point, I think the only hope it has is if someone other than me tries to make a case for it.)

This is a known current issue in the SMF version of this forum. The table looks fine in the preview, but the first column is screwed up when you have posted your table.

There are various workaround for this:

use an empty first column and put your stuff in column 2, 3, ...
use non-breakable unicode space characters or what looks like a space but isn't truely a breakable space at all in your first column to separate words
use transparent text as a placeholder that forces a certain suitable column width in first or last row of your table, e.g. [color=transparent]continuous_text_can't_use_spaces_here[/color]

There may be more workarounds or PowerGlove manages to have theymos implement his patch for this issue. PowerGlove already has a patch for this, IIRC. I'm sure you could find it, if you wanted. ninjastic.space is nice to efficiently search this forum.

I am unsure but I remember of BBcode issues with languages like Arabic, Urdu.
