Yeah I noticed that its multi-rail. The most I am pulling is about 175Watt per 280X and I am only using 3 GPUs with that PSU with each dedicated rail.

The load on that PSU is only about 600-700Watt total.

I got the stock PSU from the Antminer S2. Using it now with Ethereum mining. It ran perfectly with the S2 for about a year. Never any issues.

It also works with the Ethereum mining. However when I overclocked my GPUs one day, the PSU just shut off. I undid the overclock and its been running for months.

Now I had the shut off happen again, however this time it was because a fan died and the GPU must of overheated and the computer just shut off the rig.

Really puzzled why the PSU would just shut down the first time. Normally when the GPUs are overclocked, they crash but the PSU still runs. So I am thinking this PSU might or might not have issues and wondering if there is anyway I can test it?

look at this photo  30 x 12 = 360 watts  for the 3 red pcie jacks

you can not use the hard wired pcie jack  as it uses the same  rail as the first red

so if you use the red pcie jacks with 1 card each you should be good so only 3 gpus if they are r9 390's
