For me, it is very important information, how much money the team plans to attract and what part of the amount is it going to keep? A well-structured project will issue coins to the team gradually, as the individual stages of work are completed. If the team receives a large number of coins in advance, before real financing, then this is a bad sign. The relationship between the issue of coins and the progress of the project motivates the team to work further, rather than simply allowing them to cash in on a successful ICO.

I know ico review sites but they do not contain all of the icos. Some of low profile icos made huge success. I never knew they exist till their ico ends in minutes. Where to find those icos?

For the moment I am looking and watching out for ICOs in ann thread in bitcointalk, facebook, twitter and other social media. But I usually prefer those I can find on social media because mostly can afford to advertise, so I think they have enough budget for the project and not just some ICO trying to launch and  then fail.

I found some new good ICOs thru this blog with really with good comparison listings of top ICOs, published once each 1-2 months: https://www.cryptocoindude.com/category/icos/
For examples, all of the ICOs from their list to invest in the nearest two months, seem really trustworthy and profitable (see more details on each in this and previous reviews): https://www.cryptocoindude.com/icos-april-may-2018/
1. London Crypto Currency Exchange (LCCX)
2. Truegame
3. BitRewards
4. Minerva
5. XTRD

Firstly, you should research it fully in this forum then you look to their sites, whitepaper and https://icorating.com/  https://www.icoalert.com/ this links also can help you for ICO's rating. But, ICO's mean is risk that you should aware of. You should be aware about risks involverin ICOs and never invest the amount which you can't afford to lose. So these are like 'kinder', it's not known what will come out of it. Wink

There are too many ICOs every week. It is impossible for a regular person to track all of them.
I followed some spreadsheet regularly. When some thing interests me, I will do further research.

Using icodrops.com to track ico project, in my opinion the best way to follow new projects, also like their YouTube channel, in which they discuss upcoming projects and some mistakes on past projects.

You know what man, you just can't have everything in this world. The same goes with this industry. You cannot always have the types of information you want even if you work your ass off in finding them because there will always be a few information that you will miss or may overlook. The best thing you can do is just try hard to be more resourceful and learn how to deal with the cards that you are dealt with instead of looking for cards you don't have on your hands.

I know ico review sites but they do not contain all of the icos.

ICO review sites are basically just another source of providing the hype factors for new projects without looking at its depths and potential. Don't ever make your choice based on the reviews provided by them, rather stick to your own instincts of whether to invest or not.
Just look around in the altcoin ANN section as you will find loads of new projects coming up on a daily basis but make sure to be very selective while investing.

There are a lot of websites that has listings of upcoming ICO's such as https://www.smithandcrown.com/sale/.  You can also browse the announcements section of this forum.  The original posts of each thread will have a detailed description of the project.
That website is a shady one. Investing in that is not something that any smart person would do. It's a scamcoin.

yes, now many ICOs offer great benefits and attract us but in the end a scam, like onecoin, javacoin and others. so we should be able to analyze ICO that has good potential and success.

I think to choose a good ICO we must see how the ICO mission, how its concept, ICO background, company profile, team and developer, and the most important is the functionality and utility offered.

You can easily track ICO's from coinschedule website, They have a huge list of current & upcoming ICOs for every category. Almost every coin is listed on their website along with trust score given by coinschedule. You can find the start/end date of each ICO & can also extract the profile of every ICO along with the team members in one place. You can also get information regarding total funds raised by ICO after crowd sale ends & also top 10 most voted ICOs this can help you to recognize good ICOs.

There are too many websites where you can find ongoing and upcoming ICO. For example:
1. https://icobench.com/
2. https://icorating.com/
3. https://tokenmarket.net/

Also I can suggest you to invest in one of the best upcoming ICO -  lccx.io - looks like promising exchange based in London.  Well developed white paper, experienced team, located in politically stable jurisdiction.

the question is whether there is still money to be made in ICOs
I think there is money to be made in ICOs. The more regluation that occurs will eliminate a lot of scams and make it easier to weed through the crap to find strong options. There is no doubt going to be high risk involved, but with that comes potentially high reward.

I usually track the ICOs by checking their whitepaper so that I would know what their project is all about basically if the project is unique and will more likely be a success I usually join them. Another one is by checking their telegrams, you are responsible to be updated so that you will not miss anything about the ICO itself.

For me i track ICO weather it is active or upcoming or on the trading through this site https://www.icohotlist.com/. This site is giving basic information you need to the ICO also you will found it the starting date and ending date of the ICO. This site is highly recommended because you will track here if the ICO is ongoing or active and or, upcoming and end.

I usually keep track over crypto subreddit as most of the projects atleast leave there mark out there. Apart from that, if you have a good following list who are into ICOs, twitter also gives you lead to where other investors are following.

Yes, that's the week point of review sites.
I also look for ICOs on sites and the search them here.
But you also can search here by activity.
e.g. Choose "Announcements" and once in a few minutes refresh the page. Active threads will often be on 1st page.
Besides you can sort threads by quantity of replies and views. It can help to find the most active threads.

There are many sites you can use to track ICO's . I use icobench , icodrops and twitter mostly.Twitter alone can really give enough heads up on most of the upcoming ICO's so if you don't have an account i recommend you get one for yourself. Before doing that i believe you are aware of the dangers of ICO, you can lose totally and at the same time you can make huge returns depending on how the project turns out. Investing in ICO is a 50-50 chance anything can happen.

icorating.com is best site for ico tracking new ico and risk proportion and news and everything about ico market

I do often bump into this www.icorating.com because I really like the way they rate ICOs.
For me it's better to partially rely on them because they do research in our behalf and will score each ICOs according to their intensity, effectiveness and marketing popularity. I just observed that successful ICOs are being scored and investors are getting good returns and profits.
I also prefer www.bountyalerts.com and choose best bounty campaigns that I am going to join to earn sure tokens.

I only use www.bountiesalert.com because this is one of the better place to know about the current ICOs and their bounty campaigns.
Because I only have a very limited accounts so I choose the best ICO's and bounty campaigns over the other and participate and get good bounty campaign stake tokens.
It's better to rely on other external places because they do made some research in our behalf and that's really the good thing to earn more altcoins in the future.

Almost ICO project often post their ANN in this forum so you just need to spend your time to read and follow their project to see how their pre-sale process going, if any project Pre-sale process sold out in just a day I think their crowdsale will be the same. the question is whether there is still money to be made in ICOs
There is, As long as you can see any opportunity in the ico that no aimed to raised so many amount in the crowdsale and that will be fine just like envion which raised hundred millions dollars.
A lot of amount means if there is a lot of spread to the token. Compared with those icos raised low amount and there is still a lot of room to growth.

I think some just don't submit their ICO on review sites or don't need to have exposure on such if they have already a huge private backing, if that makes sense.

Maybe on bitcointalk, or follow potential people who might participate in such and they could provide information later on.

I know ico review sites but they do not contain all of the icos. Some of low profile icos made huge success. I never knew they exist till their ico ends in minutes. Where to find those icos?
For me best site is https://icodrops.com - there upcoming ICOs and airdrops list . Sometimes I use notification on email in ANN thread when creating new topic.

I do not follow them. Too much risk and too much money every day, there are coins that want to repeat the fate of bitcoin, although nothing from themselves represent. I make money from investing in old coins

First, I will learn about ISO from media resources, then I check their telegrams I read their white paper and only after this detailed review I make a decision whether they can invest in them.

Look in the forum. There are many ICOs who introduce themselves and give a detailed description to their tokens.
Note, that there are many scammers trying to sell useless tokens!
